Hotel in zona Palmar Coast, Mauritius

abbiamo soggiornato a cavallo tra maggio e giugno e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti! L'hotel si trova ad un'oretta dall'aeroporto, belle le tre piscine e suggestiva quella vicina all'ingresso, tutto il personale, dalla reception ai ragazzi in sala, ai facchini ecc è davvero molto gentile, disponibile, sempre sorridente e a disposizione per ogni richiesta o necessità. Le camere sono ampie e luminose, bellissima la nostra vista mare, pulizia buona. e' un all inclusive davvero, escluse sono solo cose davvero molto particolari, tipo rum molto invecchiati o i sigari, del resto c'è una lista infinita di alcolici e cocktail, che prontamente ti riportano non appena finisci il bicchiere! La struttura è di dimensioni adeguate e in armonia con il paesaggio circostante, è una zona un pò ventosa, ripagata però dai colori del mare, poi basta girare la costa per avere la situazione opposta con altri colori e altre spiagge! hotel super consigliato davvero, io ho apprezzato particolarmente il bar-ristorante sulla spiaggia che a pranzo offre piatti preparati al momento, il ristorante principale è davvero super fornito di ogni tipologia di pietanze, da italiana devo dire che la pizza è molto buona, per il resto ci sono molte spezie, ma lì va a gusti. Informazione che non dipende dall'hotel: in questo periodo le giornate sono davvero corte, è il periodo invernale ed essendo a est alle 16 già la spiaggia è all'ombra e alle 17.30 è buio pesto. Non c'è dress code.

Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. OUr warmest thanks to Vidusha!! But also to Vinesh, Med, Vajna and Vashish (I Hope I got the names right) We hop to see you soon!

Appena tornata da una favolosa vacanza al resort Ambre a Mauritius carica di emozioni uniche . Accolta dal responsabile Reyad che con il suo grande staff del ricevimento ti protegge per tutta la vacanza , saluto la dolce Samantha che passerà il mio pensiero a tutti . E poi incomincia la favolosa vacanza !!! Ristoranti al top con il grande chef kallooa che è sempre presente in tutti e tre ristoranti. Uno staff di chef veramente grande ringrazio con il cuore chef Vikash, chef Vicky, chef Jeebun, Chef Avi che mi hanno sempre preparato piatti super e coccolato. Ho festeggiato il compleanno con una festa organizzata da loro che non dimenticherò mai !!! Un grazie a tutto il personale che mi hanno sempre accolta con il sorriso e con un tavolo decorato per il mio compleanno… grazie Wendy!!! Aperitivo simpaticissimo in spiaggia offerto dal direttore del resort. Grazie ancora per quella splendida serata . Un merito a Puttee per la presenza costante e tutti i suoi splendidi pensieri. Andare in cucina vestita da chef è stato un momento bellissimo.. quanto mi sono divertita!!! Ringrazio la direzione e tutto il suo staff… ho portato a casa dei ricordi e delle emozioni che rimangono nel cuore per sempre. Ci rivediamo presto!!!

Il soggiorno ha pienamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. La struttura è accogliente e confortevole, in particolare le camere da letto sono molto spaziose e pulite (pulizia della stanza 2/3 volte al giorno). Inoltre, l'albergo offre una vasta gamma di ristoranti al suo interno. Noi avevamo la formula ”half board” (mezza pensione) che prevede la possibilità di scegliere tra 3 degli 8 ristoranti a disposizione. Cibo ottimo in tutti i ristoranti che abbiamo provato e adatto ad ogni esigenze e necessità. Tuttavia, nella mezza pensione, a differenza dell'all inclusive, non sono incluse bevande alcoliche (vino/birra) ma sono considerati come extra. Anche per quanto riguarda la spiaggia, nulla da segnalare. é molto lunga e i lettini sono comodi, anche se al mattino conviene ”prenotarsi” i lettini per evitare di restare senza (cosa che però a noi non è mai capitata) essendo la struttura dotata anche di 3 piscine con annessi lettini. Evidenzio che l'albergo è situato ad est, quindi il sole tramonta molto presto e già verso le 4 non c'è più sole sulla spiaggia. Nonostante ciò, per fortuna, non ci siamo mai annoiati essendo l'albergo dotato di molte attività di intrattenimento. Sono infatti incluse attività acquatiche come sci nautico, boat glass (barca con vetro sotto per vedere il fondale), gonfiabili, ma anche attività come minigolf, bocce, ping pong e campi da tennis. Sono a disposizione, a pagamento, anche delle biciclette. Noi abbiamo utilizzato molto anche la palestra che offre una vasta scelta di macchinari. Unica pecca che segnalo è il servizio di organizzazione delle escursioni. Poco tempestivo ed efficiente, dovevamo spesso rincorrere noi il ragazzo che se ne occupava.

Sono appena rientrato da una settimana di vacanza trascorsa in questa struttura , posso dire di essere stato in paradiso e che esiste . L’hotel è situato ai piedi del monte le morne Brabant che domina e rende tutto molto suggestivo , tutto il complesso è immerso perfettamente in un giardino tropicale che affaccia sulla spiaggia più bella del isola con dei tramonti che vi lasceranno senza fiato . Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli pulitissimo , camere lussuose spaziose e ripulite quotidianamente in maniera impeccabile. Tutto il personale è gentilissimo sorridente e disponibilissimo, devo fare un ringraziamento a Stephanie che è l’unica che parla un perfetto italiano che mi ha organizzato tutte le escursioni sodisfando ogni mia richiesta e trasformando la mia vacanza indimenticabile e preoccupandosi quotidianamente che stessi bene e che fosse andato tutto perfetto secondo i suoi piani . Un ringraziamento molto speciale va anche a Gael che è stato lui ad accogliermi al mio arrivo è stato la persona più gentile accomodante sempre sorridente e disponibile che abbia mai conosciuto sempre pronto a soddisfare e ad accontentare ogni mia richiesta ed esigenza sempre con la massima professionalità davvero molto ingamba . Vi consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questo resort se volete vivere un sogno .

Siamo rientrati a casa dopo una settimana ( dal 2 al 9 dicembre ) trascorsa in questo splendido resort Eravamo in 5 ed abbiamo usufruito di 2 Tropical junior suite. Le camere sono ampie e bellissime ( con doccia interna ed esterna) , la pulizia è impeccabile , il personale è gentilissimo , professionale , attento e mai invadente. Il giardino ( forse sarebbe meglio chiamarlo parco… ) è strepitoso ! Curato in ogni minimo particolare. Abbiamo cenato in tutti i ristoranti ( tranne l’ italiano ) e sono tutti di altissimo livello sia per la qualità del cibo che per il servizio. A mio avviso, ma è ovviamente questione di gusti in quanto si mangia benissimo ovunque, ho apprezzato in particolare Le Caravelle, mentre l’ Oasis è solo a buffet con tutti i pregi e difetti del caso . Aggiungo che l’ ultimo giorno, per una indisposizione di nostra figlia ( adulta) ci hanno messo a disposizione senza una maggiorazione di prezzo una camera di cortesia con due camere da letto per non dover attendere l’ autobus per l’aeroporto in reception dal momento del check out: segno di un'attenzione al cliente assolutamente non scontata. Quando torneremo a Mauritius , e spero presto, sarà senz’ altro al Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber

Non è stato detto che le strutture e i servizi dell'hotel di sei stelle, specialmente Yash, che fornisce servizi di telefonia comune, non sono cinesi, è piuttosto sorpreso.Grazie per l'aiuto di Yash nel ristorante di ciambelle prenotato, è una esperienza molto speciale. Se non è abbastanza buono per tutti, puoi dire a qualsiasi cameriere dell'hotel che vuoi cercare Yash, va bene.E il paesaggio della mia camera 87, mi piace molto.
