Lovely little hotel in a fantastic location, staff very friendly, rooms cleaned well , the hotel is in a very Spanish area about 35/40 minutes walk to Malaga center, we were there for 5 nights which was ideal, 200 meters from a great beach and if you like fish lots of restaurants to choose from, once on the beach you can go either way but we found a lovely little bar full of local enjoying the sunset, I would definitely return to the hotel and area ,

The location of this small Hotel at the Beach-Front of Pedregalejo is perfect. It's a vibrant area where people meet in the numerous Beach Bars and Restaurants. Also La Chancla has its own Restaurant and Bar with also a lot of non-hotelguests which is a very good sign either. The Breakfast is until 12 👍 The rooftop terrace with whirlpool offers a fantastic view. I didn't make use of the self-service bar there. The whirlpool's water temperature is rather low - maybe fitting for hot summer evenings, but not really for fresh late March evenings. The room under the roof was cosy. There was no chest of drawers or so, just a clothes rail. But I didn't really miss it, because I was there alone for just a couple of days. It might me missed though for a longer stay of 2 weeks or so with some more cloths. The bathroom was nice with a larger than standard shower. The room was cleaned every day, but unfortunately the floor was never cleaned although with the days it got a bit sandy. Over all a perfect stay for me and I would definitely return!

I came with a lover for a night. It s a small and quiet place, staff was kind. Something that we didn't like too much was the bed, because it was loudly, but the room and the bathroom were clean. I would come back with another lover definitely and he as well!

This parador is a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location overlooking the bay, city and port of Malaga and next door to the Gibralfaro castle. Our room was fabulous with high ceilings and a fantastic balcony with stunning views, space for sunbeds and a table and chairs. When we were staying there, the flowers outside the hotel were so pretty. We stayed for two nights and we loved eating dinner outside on the terrace with the Malaga skyline stretching out below us. The evening meals on both nights were excellent, beautifully prepared and served local food, also breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice of both hot and cold food. All the staff we met throughout the hotel were very courteous, polite and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend the Parador Malaga de Gibralfaro.

Il servizio in questo hotel era eccezionale, mi sono sentito davvero speciale. L'edificio è bellissimo, soprattutto la scala in marmo e il terrazzo vista mare. La mia camera era arredata con molto gusto e lussuosa, non aveva una vista, ma il prezzo era commisurato a quello. Nel complesso, l'hotel offre un'esperienza di lusso di livello intermedio (hotel Bulgari non di livello molto alto, ma decisamente premium). La mia più grande lamentela riguarda la palestra e la spa. La palestra è ok, se piccola, ha uno squat rack che è fantastico. Ma non ci sono spogliatoi o spogliatoi accanto! Qualsiasi altro hotel a cinque stelle in cui sono stato avrebbe uno spogliatoio lussuoso con sauna e vasca idromassaggio ecc. Qui non c'era nemmeno un posto dove cambiarsi! Ho dovuto tornare nella mia stanza e cambiarmi l'attrezzatura da palestra la prima volta che ci sono andato. Poi c'è la ”spa”. Alcune vasche idromassaggio, zone relax e una sauna. Molto bello, ma un EXTRA di € 25 per gli ospiti!! Che tipo di hotel di lusso fa pagare un extra per l'uso della sauna?! A parte questo, ho apprezzato molto il mio soggiorno e ci tornerei sicuramente.

We stayed here in June with friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday for 4 nights, the first thing that I must say impressed us was the charming building & front garden / pool area that was spotlessly clean. Upon entering the reception area you receive the most fabulous friendly welcome that is replicated by all the staff that is committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. The public areas are spotless with the rooms that are themed by idol bygones like Audrey Hepburn, etc. the rooms are beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, TV & tea/ coffee making facilities. This is a small 7 bedroom boutique style villa hotel with a lift, that is only a 10 min walk to the beach front & a 5 min taxi ride to the centre of Malaga at a cost of only 5 Euros on average. The perimeter of the hotel has a key code door with a high wall for security & privacy, there is an honesty refrigerator containing all your favourite drinks in reception (water, coke, beer, wine, prosecco,) & snacks. I must stress nothing is too much trouble for this hotel; for instance if there is something you would like that is not available they will do their best to provide it the next day. We loved the building the relaxed atmosphere, the staff & our breakfast wich included hot & cold selection cooked fresh to order, they do not serve lunch or evening meals but there are some amazing restaurants in the city & one on the beach itself which you can’t miss if you walk directly to the sea front called Chiringuito Oasis, FANTASTIC FOOD! Thank you to the owner & all staff for an amazing stay! WE WILL BE BACK! John & Sharon
