There are two properties: one is a castle, the other is not. Plan yr expectations accordingly. We booked a double room in the annex property for three nights. This property is tired and needs an update. Our room (221) was in the attic and resembled a small Hampton Inn/Howard Johnson room from the 70's/80's. The furniture was IKEA-like and minimal. There was no refrigerator or minibar (no wine/bottle opener) in the room and they ask you to refill your complimentary bottle of water from the tap in the bathroom daily. Three nights of this (with breakfast - I'm coming to that - ) cost us 560E. The bathroom was updated and had an excellent shower. The accommodations were adequate, but the property (including the small, drab lobby) has not been updated since at least the 90's. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful or friendly (and I speak German), but we didn't have any issues during our stay. There was no Austrian Gemütlichkeit. The town of Salzburg is a brisk 20-minute walk from the hotel. There are no reasonable restaurants in the vicinity. An Uber was 14-16E when we looked at taking one from the hotel to the centre of town. Now to the other property: breakfast is served in the castle and is a very different experience than the annex. The staff is 5-star and cater to yr every wish. We would like to recognise Marianna and Gunista for their extraordinary service during our stay. The breakfast itself is very good and the selection is excellent. I have to say, that we did not appreciate the ”woke education” that was made visible in every corner of the castle. It is not the venue, and we did not come to the property for a lesson in atonement. It was not a bad stay; it was not a great stay. Adequate at what we perceived as a high price. Again, we hope our review will help guests set their expectations for these two properties. You decide!

Ottima posizione, proprio accanto alla stazione ferroviaria di Salzburg Hbf, proprio di fronte all'autobus 150 per Hallstatt. Hotel pulito ma senza frigo (latte viziato bcs di questo). Cioccolata Mozart e acqua minerale in omaggio solo il primo giorno. Il personale cordiale ha offerto l'ombrello quando pioveva. C'è un piccolo centro commerciale accanto all'hotel con generi alimentari, McD. Alcuni negozi come H&M, Newyoker ecc Ottimo posto dove stare, altamente raccomandato.

Posizione perfetta, camere belle e pulite, ma sicurezza e servizio orribili. Hanno erroneamente dato accesso alla mia stanza a un altro ospite, quindi l'altro ospite ha finito per aprirmi la porta. Poi anche la seconda volta le pulizie sono entrate senza bussare alla porta, e poi la cosa peggiore è la terza volta che le pulizie sono entrate nella stanza anche se ho appeso ”non disturbare” alla porta senza nemmeno bussare e senza scusarmi, niente. Privacy orribile. Al momento del check-in, il personale si è dimenticato di restituirmi il mio documento d'identità, quindi ho chiamato dalla stanza, ovviamente nessuno ha risposto, quindi sono dovuto scendere di nuovo fino in fondo per ritirarlo.

Cocoon Salzburg - 10-13 July 2022 done both not all pix only the room This hotel is almost right across from the train station, on a corner, very easy to find - white 7 story building with a big butterfly outline on the glass doors. Inside the lobby is part of the bar and breakfast room. Checkin is super friendly. Room is small but wins the cuteness prize. Carpeting and walls in hallway all green with small leafy patterns like in a jungle. Bed is firm and very comfy, bedding is an interesting weave feeling like soft cotton paper, and 4 big fluffy pillows. No amenities in room such as phone, electric kettle or coffee makers, or even a small fridge. Has safe however. The hanging rattan chair is cute but takes up some room. Day couch by the window, no tables, night stands or desk - or chair for that matter (no room anyway). The most minimal amount of furniture, the idea I guess is all about lounging around so you don't ever need to sit up anywhere. Not much surface to layout stuff just a sort of narrow shelving on the wall next to the TV. Bathroom also tiny but everything is new and modern and the rain shower is the best ever. Takes a bit of maneuvering to get our two large suitcases settled. We are on the 6th floor so have a bit of view of mountains over the top of a building across the street. Windows have electrically controlled shutters outside (push button inside). You get a nice bar of chocolate and 5 euros for opting out housekeeping (although they said something about not continuing this practice). Floor uncarpeted. Aircon good. Wifi seems pretty fast. Nightlight under the bed is motion sensitive, so it comes on whenever you are moving around the room. Breakfast is good with scrambled and pre shaped fried eggs, sausage and bacon-like ham. Good selection of pastries and croissants and breads. Half dozen different kinds of tea all loose so need to scoop into a teabag in order to steep which is interesting and pretty fancy. Selection of cold meats as well and cheese. Tomato, cucumber and fruit. They don't check to see if you have breakfast included which is strange because it's extra charge for breakfast so not automatically included in all rooms. Overall a pretty good breakfast and food gets replenished pretty quickly. Seating tends to run out at peak time and people will ask to share your table if there is room.

L'hotel è super super super fantastico! L'illuminazione sopra il letto è perfetta e molto elegante. La stanza ha un'enorme finestra dal pavimento al soffitto e nel pomeriggio un arcobaleno viene proiettato nella stanza, così bello! La sera, puoi goderti lo splendido tramonto e la luna brillante che appare lentamente dalle montagne di fronte! Siediti vicino alla finestra e bevi un drink con la persona amata e l'atmosfera sarà piena! Consiglio vivamente questo hotel!

Location just next to the train station was very convenient for getting into and out of the city via train. A fine modern hotel with efficient and helpful staff. There is a great view over the city and a top floor bar. Breakfast had a good selection and was more than adequate to get the day started. The breakfast space up on the top floor was very nice.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questo hotel. Non è centrale, ma sicuramente offre un ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità. Il centro di Salisburgo è comunque facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi in un quarto d'ora circa, ma grazie all'ottimo servizio di trasporti urbani di Salisburgo e la presenza sia davanti che di fronte all'hotel di fermate per alcune linee, ci si sposta facilmente verso i principali punti di interesse. La camera era grande, buona la pulizia che abbiamo trovato (nessuna pulizia durante il soggiorno per le normative per il contrasto alla pandemia), il personale molto cordiale ha sempre salutato con un sorriso, una receptionist parla anche piuttosto bene in italiano, la colazione era ottima, e perfetta l'insonorizzazione della camera anche rispetto all'esterno. Può risultare utile la presenza di diversi negozi nella zona, alcuni aperti anche fino a tarda notte (Spar express e MC Donald)

Questo hotel è buono per un soggiorno breve e lungo. Il personale è amichevole e il colazione è grande. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi per un soggiorno confortevole. La distanza a piedi dal centro della città è di circa 20 minuti a piedi. Tutte le strutture sono là. 20 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto con taxi.

Posizione ottima molto vicino alla stazione(5 min a piedi), staff gentile e disponibile. hanno anche prestato un piccolo frigo per ragioni mediche. Unica pecca un po' di polvere e il biliardino che costa troppo :) Alle scale piace cambiare.

L'hotel è molto convenientemente situato vicino alla stazione di Salzburg. Buona zona con ristoranti e negozi molto vicini. 15/20 minuti a piedi per tutte le attrazioni principali. L'hotel era bello e pulito. Il personale è bello e utile. Le aree comuni dell'hotel sono moderne e pulite. Ci è una stanza per il bagaglio se dovete tenerlo prima di entrare o dopo l'uscita. Le camere erano spaziose e pulite, così è il bagno. Il colazione era molto buono, la sala da colazione ha una bella vista sulla città. L'unica denuncia che abbiamo è che la stanza era molto calda e il braccialetto della testa del doccia non funzionava.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found that the newly renovated bathrooms had a few things lacking that are typical for a 4-star hotel. All these can be fixed if the owner or a manager spends a couple of nights in the room, including the bathroom. These are obvious fixes that the person who uses the bathroom will realize the designer needs to fix. 1) the bathroom needs hooks behind the door. The towel rod is at the opposite end of the bathtub. How do you expect a person to reach their towel at the end of the shower? 2) for a 4-star hotel, please consider adding a body moisturizer bottle next to the mirror. 3) move the location of the hand soap closer to the sink to allow for easier access. Right now it is a stretch to reach with wet hands making the countertop wet in the process. 4) the bathtub is terribly designed for use of the hand shower. The knobs and shower head should typically be at the head or foot of the bathtub to allow for a person to stand sideways in the bathtub and shower. If the plumbing does not allow it, at least put the shower hook in a position where it does not get stuck in the shower handle. Move it to the other side. Also, Presently the way the glass is fixed, it is very difficult to stand in the tub and take a shower without standing over the drain and pressing the drain cover, making it difficult to drain the soap water. I suggest removing the glass and using a shower curtain to allow for easier showering without wetting the bathroom and making it possible to avoid stepping over the drain cover and closing it. 5) the bath tub is very high and it is difficult to enter and exit for people with mobility issues. Consider lowering it or having a step.

Io e il mio migliore amico, entrambe le donne della fine degli anni '60, passarono quattro notti qui mentre viaggiava a Salzburgo. Quanto alle più piccole camere d'albergo in Europa, questa era una bella sorpresa. La stanza era grande, con la sua zona di casa e un bagno privato. Anche se la nostra camera era di fronte a una strada occupata, ci piaceva trovare che dopo le 10 di mattina il traffico si fermò, e era molto tranquillo dormire. Il personale qui era meraviglioso, e il buffet del colazione era eccellente.

Situato perfettamente a Salzburg vicino al palazzo Mirabell. Belle camere, eccellenti ristoranti e Sky Bar. Aria condizionata che non è comune in Austria. Acqua e WiFi forniti e mini frigo ben conservato. Ero qui con un giro, ma rimarrei certamente da solo.

Dopo aver prenotato e PAGATO PER TRE, arriviamo in albergo il 25/12/22, la receptionist fa il check-in, ci lascia le chiavi della camera tutta sorridente (eravamo in 3, adulti, davanti a lei) e lì troviamo la sorpresa: c’è solo il letto matrimoniale! Torniamo in reception, chiediamo spiegazioni e la risposta (ottenuta dopo un bel po’ di attesa perché la sorridente signorina è andata nel panico e dopo mia richiesta ha chiamato il direttore) è stata: “abbiamo avuto tante richieste di camere familiari e non abbiamo più letti aggiuntivi”. Soluzione: ABBIAMO DORMITO IN TRE IN UNA CAMERA DOPPIA! ovviamente è stato più che scomodo, come rovinare una vacanza natalizia organizzata e PRENOTATA PER TEMPO! Secondo il direttore d’albergo bastava offrirci la colazione per 4 giorni per risolvere un problema ben più grave! Non c’è colazione che tenga davanti ad una simile mancanza!

Un posto così bello nel centro di Salzburgo. Ha avuto un vecchio senso, come se tornasse all'inizio del 1900 e si accorse con una macchina del tempo. Le camere erano piccole, ma tutto quello che avete davvero bisogno come un viaggio d'affari. Il personale era gentile e amichevole, e il mio soggiorno era perfetto.

Tutti gentili, cordiali e sempre disponibili a soddisfare le esigenzee. Colazione abbondante e con ampia scelta di prodotti. Camera spaziosa davvero elegante, comoda e molto pulita. Posizione ottima della struttura: in 15 min circa si raggiunge a piedi il centro storico di Salisburgo. Personale sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra e molto accogliente, davvero perfetto.

Il Parkhotel Brunauer è un grande hotel con personale particolarmente amichevole e attento. La stanza era molto tranquilla e tuttavia l'hotel è idealmente situato, molto centrale vicino alla stazione ferroviaria. È a pochi minuti a piedi dal trasporto pubblico. Tuttavia, sono arrivato in macchina e sono riuscito a utilizzare il parcheggio gratuito. Ci è anche un parcheggio alberghiero dietro l'hotel. Il colazione era molto vario e molto delizioso. Mi piace sempre tornare!

Albergo molto pulito. Personale molto gentile. acqua frizzante gratuita all'arrivo. La posizione è un po' lontana dal centro, che dista 40 minuti a piedi e la sera è abbastanza difficile tornare senza macchina dopo aver visitato i mercatini di Natale.

We stayed for 4 nights at beginning of February on a breakfast included deal which was excellent value. Hotel was quiet but only a five minute walk from the railway and bus stations. Very convenient as we had no car for this trip. Touristy part of Salzburg a 10/15 minute walk. All staff at hotel very friendly and helpful. Room had kitchenette (we had only booked a simple double) so that was quite a handy, unexpected feature. Modern bathroom, powerful hot shower, extremely comfy beds. Breakfast buffet was beautifully presented in a pleasant dining room, and with plenty of choice. Loved the contraption for boiling your own eggs!

L'hotel può essere detto che è il migliore a Salzburg, e la posizione geografica è ancora buona. Anche se appartiene a un hotel leader, non è una grande catena di marchi hotel. Si sa che il marchio con senso di storia è in famiglia a Vienna e Salzburg. Tuttavia, il suo caffè... il caffè con latte di latte è molto buono. Dopo latte di latte di latte... il gusto di Moka con cioccolato è impressionante. Il portavoce, il convito e la reception sono cortesi, il più apprezzabile... e molti hotel europei non possono farlo è che il servizio è relativamente umano. E'veramente un servizio, perché le strutture sono ancora relativamente più lunghe rispetto agli hotel di marchio di lusso in Asia, soprattutto il tessuto utilizzato per le letti è abbastanza ricco, che non è comparabile a marchi internazionali come la quarta stagione, la Wenhua. Mi dispiace, se devo fare un problema.E'solo questo.In realtà, il prezzo non è affatto economico, e il sonno è un po'di tempo.Se nemmeno una comoda maglia non puo'essere combinata con una maglia... temo sia davvero una cosa disturbata. Le esportazioni per la cena del ristorante sono ancora ammissibili, ma è strano... quel caffè è molto diverso da quelle del caffè. Non penso che sia un'eccezione casuale.Per quanto riguarda le esportazioni per la colazione...Piano, non c'è niente da menzionare.
