Hotel a Magnetic Island, Australia

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel incredibly welcome! Adam the manager made me feel immediately at home! My room was everything I needed for my 2 week stay. Clean and comfortable with comfortable bed with all the nessacary amnenties. Conveniently situated by rhe pool with beautiful views across the road to Geoffrey Bay and a short walk to Alma Bay which in my opinion is the best swimming beach on the island! Situated next door to the pub with great seating and a pool with a very extensive menu it was everything I needed! The bus stop was also a short walk away which was a good way to explore the rest of the island. Arcadia Hotel is also a good starting point for walks into the National Park and over the hill to Nelly Bay with stunning views! A perfect way to end the day is to walk across the road in the evening to the old wharf and see the Rock Wallabies that come out looking for food! Within days my room.became home and Adam made me feel like family. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure my stay was the best it could be! I cannot recommend Arcadia highly enough for the perfect place to stay and base yourself to explore the Island and come back to at end of day to relax on private balcony area looking out to sea! I've travelled extensively all over the world and stayed in many different places and Arcadia is up there for ticking every box you need for the perfect place to be! It was very hard to leave so I will definitely be back.! It really was my home away from home. Thank you Adam for your amazing hospitality. Magnetic Island is such a magical place ...and Arcadia Motel is the perfect place to stay and experience it!

I loved this place despite some downsides. It’s in the best area of the island, at walking distance from a stunning beach (Horseshoe bay). I booked it because I’m a digital nomad and Selinas are normally great because they offer a coworking space. The only issue is that I work European hours and I often finish at 9:00pm (as most of digital nomads I guess) but the kitchen closes at 09:00 and all the restaurants in the island close at 09:00pm too. The result is that during the week you cannot eat 😅 that’s not optimal. On top of that Wi-Fi stopped working for one whole evening and the following morning and I was stressing out because I had to send some urgent emails that could not be sent. For the record - there is not even phone signal so you cannot use data as a backup, you really need to rely on the Wi-Fi. Another flaw is that it’s too far away from everything, the only supermarket is 1hr walk (the bus runs only a few times a day) and they don’t even offer a scooter hire service (I had to get the bus and go to the other l’art of the island - it would be great if they organised something for guests). Nevertheless if you’re staying for the weekend it’s totally worth it. The staff is really nice, the restaurant offers good food and the place is just like paradise, it’s in the middle of the koala park. You are immersed by nature and it’s stunning. The dorms have very comfy beds and some have their own bathroom which is great. I am writing what to improve just because this place could be even better and has some room for improvement. But I highly recommend anyone to go (and I am already doing so)

La posizione è molto buona, perché è proprio davanti al terminale di Ferry di Nelli Bay ㅎㅎ È anche una piscina e sono stato soddisfatto di comprarla con colazione :) Tuttavia, ci sono troppi anziani nell'ostello,, soprattutto nel caffè e nel tè preparato, ci sono troppi anziani ㅠㅠ Così ho dato un piccolo punteggio di pulizia, si prega di riferire!

Abbiamo visitato il nostro anniversario di nozze e abbiamo avuto il tempo più sorprendente! Deb & Larry sono grandi ospiti con molte conoscenze e raccomandazioni locali. La posizione del B&B è perfetta. Molto vicino alla fermata dell'autobus e a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e dai ristoranti. Selina’s è anche vicino se si desidera pop in per un drink, giocare a piscina, yoga e mangiare uccelli. Le camere a True North sono pulite, spaziose e hanno tutto quello che ti serve. La cosa più importante è che il letto e le mutandine sono VERO COMFORDI! Allora, naturalmente, sono i colazioni - divino! Molti scelte e molto cordiali per riempire per il giorno. Amiamo rilassarsi con il nostro caffè e brekki, guardando le valle si svolta ogni mattina. Deb e Larry usciranno dal loro modo per assicurarsi che il vostro soggiorno sia perfetto. Torneremo!

Abbiamo prenotato questo alloggio nel settembre 2022 per 2 notti per il nostro soggiorno in maggio. Arrivato e immediatamente trovato il nostro appartamento non con vista panoramica sull'isola magnetica né la Townsville Marina che si gira occhi una parte dura sinistra della Marina. La nostra vista era un appartamento a destra, in fondo al piano terra, che guardava in un altro complesso di appartamento. Ci avvicinò al desk front e fu detto che avevano esteso il loro soggiorno e ci siamo aggiornati a un appartamento a 3 camere, solo due di noi. Noi diamo così tanto credito per la pulizia della custodia di casa grazie ma il telaio, la spazzatura e il salotto fulgi al di fuori del loro controllo. Siti che mostrano ciò che si dovrebbe aspettare e ciò che si ottiene dovrebbe essere tenuto responsabile. Non tornerà.

Il luogo è in spiaggia, la spiaggia di giù del sole, e il caffè è molto conveniente per camminare per il supermercato per dieci minuti.Il giorno di acquisto di Qi è necessario per sedersi sul palco per vedere il sole e guardare il sole. Per quanto riguarda il servizio di base, cancellare il check-in.Rimanere in piedi come se fossero alberghi di aria condizionata nell'area asiatica e Pacifico, ci sono servizi di cinque stelle In termini di prezzo, non c'è niente per 1000 capi, la verità è la scelta perché non c'è scelta.

We’d stayed here at the Ocean Breeze a year before and thought it was excellent. Clean, comfortable, good value and a spot-on location just off The Strand. Unfortunately management appears to have been on a cost saving mission since. A new card reader is needed for the car park as getting into it was an exercise in complete frustration…our final entry required nearly 5 minutes of swiping before the doors finally lifted. The Wi-Fi in the room was virtually non-existent…the signal from the Anelay restaurant across the road was stronger…and when you could connect the bandwidth was so poor the pages would rarely open. And the AC, well heaven forbid allowing guests to adjust the temperature themselves. This needed to be done from reception, which is not open 24 hours! So if you discover it is too hot in the middle of the night, tough luck sweat it out. Not sure if we’ll be returning.

Abbiamo trascorso due notti al Palmer Collective mentre andavamo a Townsville per il gioco Cowboys v West Tigers. La stanza era eccellente e aveva tutto ciò che era necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. La doccia era grande e l'aria con funzionava come doveva. La Palmer dispone anche di un lavaggio con lavastoviglie e asciugamani, entrambe le macchine prendono $1 e $2 monete. Il parcheggio in loco è limitato per un motel così grande, ma è parcheggio lungo la strada, e noi lo consigliamo pienamente.

Alla fine del momento abbiamo deciso di rimanere a Townsville per una notte. Abbiamo guardato molti luoghi, ma volevamo davvero qualcosa sulla spiaggia con alcune viste. Abbiamo deciso di controllare l'angolo delle acque sulla spiaggia. Entrai per vedere cosa c'era, e la bella Michelle mi ha fatto vedere la camera da letto prima di andare a casa. Michelle aveva un studio al livello successivo con un balcone, ma ha guardato la piscina, quindi abbiamo scelto la prima scelta. La camera era bella, anche se un tad era uscito. Era evidente che ci erano stati alcuni miglioramenti. Il letto era comodo e aveva una cucina, lavatrice e asciugatrice era un plus. Ci siamo divertiti tanto che abbiamo esteso la seconda notte. Solo i menoni non erano balcone, non c'era polvere da lavare e la notte era molto luminosa con la luce che passava attraverso le tende e le lamiere. Le foto sono state accurate, quindi sapete cosa aspettare. Sicuramente rimarrebbe ancora, anche se un piano superiore con balcone sarebbe meglio e anche bloccare alcune della luce stradale.
