I really only want a comfortable bed and a clean room. I got that. Bonus was the lovely lady on th front desk. So helpful and friendly.

Nice spacious and clean room in a great location. Seaview hotel just a block down the road serves up quality food thats very well priced.

Excellent outlook along The Strand with the beach across the road and Magnetic Island in the background. Plenty of nearby restaurant's although The Strand can get a bit noisy. Room was in good condition as well.

Bathroom in poor state with grimy edging at base of shower, scungy brown water that emerged around base of hot tap when turned on and hammer lock when opening basin hot tap. No door mat for patio door. No microwave bowls for cooking. Bed comfort was average to poor. Lift has no cool ventilation - extremely hot and stuffy.

Usually love staying at Waters Edge Townsville. Just a little disappointed this time as the room was on the opposite side to the pool and the deck overlooking the Strand. We usually have a studio room that side and love the convenience of being able to sit out and look over the street. Our room was at the back on the third floor and overlooked buildings to the back and the rear of a motel to the side. As stated we usually stay here due to the deck and pool access from our studio unit. The room was clean and the position on the Strand is great.

This place is great. Perfect location for the best of Townsville. It’s clean, pleasant and functional. The rooms are a good size and the pool area is a real delight. Can highly recommend.
