Large stately hotel. the hotel also has residences which means less hotel guests and traffic (in a good way). i generally look for hotels with pools and saunas attached and the pool area has was beautiful was outdoor patio with view of alps and lakes. Lockers, robes and slippers provided. i had room #205 which had peekaboo view of lake and mainly a rooftop, I suspect City View rooms would be noisy with busy road in front. book lake view if possible. the front staff was lovely and very helpful. They were very accommodating in trying to sort out my room. I could have been made to move after the 1st night but to their credit - saw it was easier to keep me in the same room. restaurant and bar with outdoor seating looking out towards lake and promenade. Heavenly!

The management has no integrity. Due to a verified death in my family, we requested a refund; they were the ONLY management that absolutely refused. When I attempted to reschedule for a week later, they claimed they had no availability; this was a blatant untruth. I went on the app and booked a room; when I informed them of their inaccuracy, they claimed that I had been lucky (verbatim). They got the last laugh when they charged me 1900 francs (yes 1900) for my final night when other adjacent properties were charging 400 francs. Lastly - importantly - they have no fitness center ( you have to go down the street to one of the hotels that charge less). Further, their restaurant is in the basement; it has no view and no ambience whatsoever. Horrendous.

I was first thinking that ok..this will be a regular hotel room..and Marriotts are nice.. I was wrong.. IT is not just a Marriott. It is a beautiful more like a boutique type hotel. The staff were great. The location is a short distance from the train station and everything is close and walkable. The hotel gave a transportation pass for the entire city. We used the bus to come back into town and it was easy (first time I took a bus in 40 years) All the main attractions for downtown are right there. The shower...best shower I have ever had in my life. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly with out outside noise ever even being heard. The dinner in the hotel will not get a thumbs up, skip that one, but the breakfast was outstanding and one of the best we had in Switzerland. It was a buffet and made to order eggs and pancakes. I would definitely stay here again.

Grande esperienza, dal momento che siamo arrivati. Famiglie di 4 e siamo rimasti in una suite con una grande camera per la famiglia. Non ci siamo resi conto al momento, ma abbiamo prenotato l'unica camera in hotel con una sauna privata che era un bonus sorprendente. L'hotel ha un vecchio fascino del mondo. Non è un lusso moderno, ma ci siamo ancora sentiti più di quello che l'attenzione, la attenzione e il servizio che si è fatto per alcuni di esso. Prova il ristorante Villa Schweizerhof fuori proprietà per un fantastico pasto. Se tornasse a Lucerne, resterò qui.

Hotel molto bello lungo la strada da Vierwaldstatter see(Lake Lucerne) Pros: Grandi staff facilmente controllare in vista dal lago di fronte camere, parcheggio facile. Ok valore per la zona,comfortabile letto. Cons: La costruzione era in corso al momento del nostro soggiorno. Le camere non avevano A/C, non un interruttore, ma la stanza era sigillata in modo stretto e il primo fulmine di calore quando apriamo la porta era inaspettato. Ma hanno un grande fan, purtroppo, il cordone non permetterebbe che il fan sia posizionato nella porta della terrazza per aiutare a raffreddare la stanza.La selezione del buffet per colazione era abbondante, ma i cibi cucinati erano solo in ordine al meglio.

Prima volta a Lucerna. Abbiamo scelto l'hotel guardando sulla mappa. Posizione fantastica: a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria, a pochi passi dal lago, a pochi passi dal centro. Camere moderne, spaziose e pulite. Colazione fantastica. Personale gentilissimo e davvero molto disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerò sicuramente, magari per godere dell'atmosfera natalizia di Lucerna.

É già la seconda volta che pernottiamo in questo hotel perché ce ne siamo innamorati. Il personale educatissimo, gentilissimo è disponibilissimo. Camere spaziose e bellissime. É situato in un ottimo punto perché a 200 metri c’è la fermata del tram via ogni 10 minuti. Ristorante spettacolare buonissimo tutto, soprattutto la paella. La colazione abbondante e deliziosa. Visited Lucerne with a friend for 3 nights, and stayed at Hotel Beau Sejour for our trip. It was absolutely lovely; I don’t think we could’ve picked a better place (especially for the price!). Overview: Very clean room, polite staff, complimentary breakfast, nice quiet location, very cute decor. Highly recommend! Staff: The hotel staff were polite and attentive. They gave us nice local food recommendations and let us borrow umbrellas when it was raining. We only knew English, but it was very easy to communicate with the staff. Everyone we talked to seemed to be fluent in English, German, and/or French. Room: Our hotel room had the perfect amount of space for the two of us. Double sinks in our room, which was very convenient. They also provided shampoo (no conditioner though), body lotion, plug adapters, and complimentary chocolate (delicious)! Our room also had a nice view of the lake. Hotel: Very cute decor; clean; working elevator (a little small, but still fit my friend and I with our suitcases and backpacks); also had the charm of an older building while still being comfortable with nice amenities. Location: It was a little removed from the city center (maybe a 15-20 minute walk). I liked this, since it made for a quieter stay. But I can see this not being ideal for people who want to be a little closer to the city center. If you can make the walk, though, I highly recommend this location! It’s a nice easy flat walk, and it’s beautiful (the path to the city is right along the lake). Being away from the center of the city made it nice and quiet. I am usually lazy, and walking is not really my thing, but the walk to the city was enjoyable—even for me! Extras: They had great complimentary breakfast (much better than American continental-style breakfast haha). It included different coffees, cheeses, jams, breads, yogurt, granola, boiled egg, and some fruit! Very convenient and yummy. If you are gluten-free, they have yogurts, fruits, and cheese (no gluten-free pastries—I wasn’t expecting them to have that, though). They also had vegan yogurt and oat/soy/almond milk if you’re vegan! No meat or anything, which was totally okay with me, but don’t go in expecting a full hearty breakfast with bacon and sausage lol! It was all delicious and convenient! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Lucerne! I will be recommending this hotel to others who plan a trip to Switzerland!
