I made a reservation for a single room several weeks prior to the trip and also got a confirmation for it. Check in was possible until 10.00.P.M. I arrived at about 07.45 P.M. just to find myself in front of a closed door which made me to call the number written on the paper at the door. I was then told by a male voice in broken English that my room was already given away to someone else because I did not leave my phone number behind and they were not able to get the approval for my credit card though it worked perfectly when I got a room someplace else just a few minutes later...By the way they hat my email so they could have dropped me a short note. Well, I still found a room but it was more a matter of luck since it was a busy Saturday night. This whole handling of that issue was not only very disappointing to it also almost ruined my stay in Luzern. I would therefore not recommend this place to anybody else. Peter
