il servizio dell'hotel è perfetto. La vista è fenomenale per le camere dell'attico con vista lago. Ci sono ristorante e bar in riva al lago, ma il servizio in camera e cenare sul balcone è ancora meglio. Ordinare il servizio in camera può essere effettuato tramite tablet, molto comodo. Ma ricorda che ci sono costi di servizio per il servizio in camera. Purtroppo la camera in cui abbiamo effettuato il check-in era priva di vasca da bagno. La prossima volta prenderò in considerazione la possibilità di prendere la stanza con vasca da bagno all'aperto.

Essendo svizzero, non ho mai viaggiato molto in Svizzera. Di solito viaggio in Asia, come Giappone, Tailandia, Taiwan. Quindi sono rimasto davvero scioccato dalla bassa qualità degli hotel svizzeri. Oltre a questo sono stato anche a Interlaken e devo dire che gli hotel sono semplici motel standard con un prezzo di 300-500 $ per 15 m² e non sono nemmeno puliti. E non è solo questo hotel, molti altri intorno a cui ho pranzato o cenato sono in pessime condizioni Ma al Montana "Art Déco"... La parte migliore è all'inizio. Raggiungere l'ingresso con un'auto a cremagliera è fantastico, anche la hall è carina e la terrazza con vista lago è bellissima. Ma poi, arriva il problema, il prezzo è cambiato, il giorno del check-in costava 180 $ in meno per la stessa camera rispetto a quando l'ho prenotata. Non abbiamo ricevuto alcun compenso che comunque non mi aspettavo in Svizzera, ancora un po' deluso. Ma ok... andiamo in camera d'albergo. Le foto mi hanno preparato a non avere troppe aspettative, ma la realtà è ancora più straziante. Ho soggiornato in hotel economici per 80$ in Cina o Tailandia con lo stesso standard. L'asciugacapelli Dyson non ha salvato l'impressione. I primi 30 minuti eravamo davvero depressi, seduti sul letto pieni di rimpianti mentre andavamo a Lucerna. È tutto così economico, fatto per quel prezzo. Bene, ci siamo ripresi e abbiamo lasciato l'hotel per il viaggio. Ma in conclusione, gli hotel più economici in Svizzera sono appena peggiori della fascia da 400-600 $ come il Montana. Se vuoi il lusso, meglio optare per quegli hotel famosi su Instagram per 1200 $ + Tutto il resto è lo stesso standard basso. Nota a margine: in Svizzera il minibar degli hotel 3-4 stelle non è gratuito.

Un ottimo hotel situato proprio in collina, con una splendida vista sul lago. Può essere un po' caro, ma l'hotel è altamente tecnologico e le camere sono confortevoli, calde e ci si sente come a casa. Adoro anche l'anatra in bagno!

L'Hotel Montana ha il fascino dell'ambiente art deco degli alberghi d'antan e l'efficienza della struttura moderna - tranquillità e serenità garantiti da ambienti spaziosi e ottimo isolamento acustico - servizio accurato e preciso - cucina straordinaria per buon gusto e qualità

L’albergo merita sicuramente una buona ristrutturazione ,anche se porta molto bene gli anni che ha ,che lo adegui alle esigenze dei nostri tempi. Alcune pecche risultano evidenti, ad esempio le vasche esterne di idromassaggio poste sul balcone esterno delle suite disturbano ,quando accese ,le camere sottostanti. Le ragnatele sulle ringhiere del terrazzino dovrebbero essere tolte, come la polvere sugli armadi.Con l’apertura in autunno del Mandarin appena sotto il Montana rischiano di perdere una buona fetta di clienti di fascia alta. Una grande pecca manca un area Spa .Il tablet che trovi in camera dovrebbe prevedere oltre al tedesco e all’inglese anche francese e italiano, chissà perché appena superi il Gottardo si dimentichino che la Svizzera è qudrilingue.Ciò detto l’albergo merita un soggiorno, letti comodi, camere spaziose, un po’ age ma accettabili, il prezzo adeguato. Aggiornare i canali tv con Netflix e Prime dovrebbe essere fatto

I stayed there in one of the junior suite with the lake view. Everything was quaint in that place especially the view that I was enjoying all the time. The suite is pleasant and it is included anything a couple needs. Even if you ask for additional dental kit , or other things that you might want, they will give it to you without any hesitation and the staff are so friendly.love Art Deco

What an incredible stay! The entire team was lovely and the room was one of my favourites from our entire 7 week trip. What a stunning view from our balcony, and gorgeously designed rooms with good taste in decor. We loved everything about this hotel!

We arrived at the hotel. As we entered the hotel tram the door slammed close on my arm. It was bruised but the hotel said that this is not America and they don’t have a way for you to complete an accident report. Most of the hotel staff did not speak English. We never experienced a European hotel like this one. Our first room faced a construction site. Our tour promised us a lake or Mountain View. We had to pay a lot more money to upgrade. The hotel did nothing to accommodate us other than provide a king bed.

Had a celebratory birthday dinner here in March 2025. Food and wine pairings were amazing and views were breathtaking ( we had a table by the flor to ceiling window)! Customer service here was the best that I’ve had in a long time and I felt that our waitress contributed to making the evening extra special. We then went to an adjoining Jazz bar for some Swiss cocktails - which made the evening, even more magical.

We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Montana this past weekend! As always, the welcome and hospitality were flawless. The new interior design by Ina Rinderknecht is absolutely stunning, bringing a modern and elegant touch to the hotel. A special thanks for all the thoughtful touches you arranged for my wife’s birthday. She was truly moved, and it made our stay even more memorable. Your attention to detail and warm hospitality really make all the difference. We can’t wait to return soon! Thank you again for everything.

When I arrived a the Art Deco Hotel Montana, the reception was very informative, warm and welcoming! Very professional and helpful in every respect! My room at the hotel was a Grand Deluxe Lakeside. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't the corner room shown online with the two balconies, but the balcony I had provided an amazing view of Lake Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus! The welcoming glass of champagne and bowl of nuts was a definite plus! The bathroom is amazing with the rainshower and the separate soaking tub! The lemon scented bath salts provided a relaxing soak after a long day of touring. The breakfasts were simply fabulous! In fact I enjoyed this hotel so much that I stayed an extra three days even though I had pre-paid hotel accommodations at another hotel with a group tour - about a 6 minute walk away! The funicular was a fun way to get to and from the street and the walk into the city center along the lakeside was very refreshing! My stay from start to finish at the Art Deco Hotel Montana was incredible! So spacious and so bright and colorful! And the A/C was the coldest I have ever experienced in Europe! The room service was wonderful as well! This was part of my 23 day European vacation and absolutely one of my favorite hotels!

Very pretty view of the lake! Do not love the hotel. Rooms are too small when traveling with 2 large suitcases and 2 people. The bathroom is very small too. The shower doesn't work very well either in this room. Too small of an area to hang clothes because of the selves that are in the way. Hopefully other rooms ate different. The dinner in the bar was great the 1st night. The 2nd night it was closed so we went to the beach club bar but left right away. Had dinner in the restaurant. Great food a little spendy. Waitress was very patient with us.
