Great hotel, but the customer service is terrible and not a lot of restaurants option

Outstanding and attentive staff! The property is wonderful, but the staff make this property amazing! As an ambassador elite member with Marriott, I’ve stayed at several properties and had both good and bad experiences with site staff, but I’d like to say that the staff at the JW Los Cabos made my birthday trip here a great experience. Special thank you to Eduardo, Roy, Franco, Javier, Laura, and Karla. Also, special shout out to the staff who cleaned our room and performed turn down service. Furthermore, the food at this property was really good! Can’t wait to visit again!

From the moment you arrive at the JW Marriott Los Cabos you are greeted by the kindest staff, most beautiful resort and stunning views. Our family stay was one we will never forget. Every single member of the hotel staff was there to make our stay the best possible. From Tadeo at the Pool, Monserrat at housekeeping, Karla and Sofia at Kids Club, and every single other person that works at the JW. We felt like we were at home. Our room had a spectacular view, the food at the pools was so good, dining at Nak Grill was incredible, our dinner at UA Culinary Artisans was one of the best meals we have ever had. We researched many hotels in Cabo and are so thankful that we chose the JW. We also loved being so close to the town of San Jose del Cabo where we loved walking around and sightseeing. Thank you to everyone at the JW! We can’t wait to see you again!

Every person was exceptionally friendly and accommodating! The views of the ocean, cleanliness of property, attention to detail by housekeepers, service around the pool, equipment in the large 24-hour fitness center were all “5 star”. The landscape design is fabulous and includes 11 pools! Every request was accommodated with a smile. Special staff favorites were Tadeo, Ruben, Axel, and Alejandro. Commendations also to Apolonia and Marco. Definitely want to return this winter.

Very good overall. Clean. Great service and family oriented. Kids club was great. We usually feel guilty about leaving our kids during vacation but the kids club was so good, we didn’t feel that way at all. Special mention to Yair at the pool. Who was awesome.

A short 5 night getaway to celebrate our anniversary at the JW Marriott, Cabo. This oceanfront hotel has beautiful spacious grounds, lush gardens to take a stroll through, beautiful beach, soft sand, many pools with swim up bar and of course most wonderful staff. Pretty plumerias were in full bloom and we experienced some amazing sunsets this early July. Cristina, at the concierge desk was a magician. She went above and beyond and made our stay so very special. Little surprises of Rose petals, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries welcomed us to our beautiful room. She also arranged for a wonderful dinner in downtown. And gave us many wonderful suggestions of thing to do. We loved going to the gym each morning. Here we met a wonderful personal trainer, Carlos. He is the nicest person. He kept the gym spik and span! Carlos gave us many good training tips! We had an AC not cooling issue, Daniel in maintenance came in a flash and resolved the issue super fast. He is so friendly and helpful. Lily was taking care of our room. She is an amazing towel artist. She left us a is cute towel dog by the bathtub . UA restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet with many local specialties, great omelettes and fresh juice bar. Eduardo was our server each morning. He knew us by name after the first day and took such good care of our dietary needs. If you need a place to just relax and be well taken care of, look no further! This hotel will give you the best vacation! Thank you to the entire staff for making this the most beautiful anniversary ever!

A quick trip but had a wonderful experience. Recommend Casa Maat which the boutique section of the resort. The suites are super, had incredible butler service (Abraham went above and beyond for me and was super responsive!) and I’ll be back again for a longer stay!! Beach is amazing to walk but not for swimming FYI

Such a wonderfully conceived complex. It all looks out to the ocean - rooms, pools (many), restaurants. I will be coming back. Aaron was one of our excellent servers. The entire venue was clean and well maintained. All the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable.

Stayed in the Casa Maat side, well worth the extra expense. Why? 1) More secluded but still take advantage of the rest of the resort, including spa privileges. 2) impeccable service, including our butler Jesus who helped us with anything. The staff at Maayu, pool attendants and servers are excellent. 3) While it’s technically not AI, we found the food offering was solid. Breakfast was great, wide array of standard breakfast food, full service juice/smoothy bar, made to order omelettes, pancakes etc. Lunch really isn’t much, sandwiches, chips quac, you really don’t need lunch since the breakfast was so filling. Free beer, wine, water soft drinks all say. Servers will fill up buckets of ice with your drinks poolside. They have a sit down themed three course dinner each night. Food was good, a couple nights we had dinner there since we didn’t have the energy to go off property. Probably wouldn’t eat there every night and take advantage of restaurants off property—-we really liked Flora Farms. All in all, a great stay, we’ll be back
