We used the Courtyard Marriott at Puerto Montt for a 1-night stopover only but what a fine room we had! Ok - it was a Junior Suite on the 10th floor with ocean view and as such most certainly more spacious than other rooms. But it seems that the hotel has recently undergone renovation and I assume that all rooms are styled in the same modern way. The bathroom was huge with bathtub and shower. Towels were fluffy and bed linen was crisp. The hotel even offers ironing facilities, something I had missed throughout 9 weeks of traveling across Latin America... We also had dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. Do not expect ”fine dining” but we had a proper and tasty meal and a sufficiently varied breakfast buffet. A slight drawback is the location. Walking to the waterfront is easy and does not take long. But be prepared to ”climb” a bit of a hill on your way back. Von meinem/meiner Galaxy gesendet

Questo hotel era un po' più basso! La posizione era buona, l'unico positivo. Anche se l'elenco di Radisson e RocketMiles lo diceva, non c'era nessun ristorante. Nessun bar. Nessun servizio in camera. Nessun centro commerciale. Le foto chiaramente non mostrano che questo è un vecchio hotel. Carpette in mattoni e strade fumanti abbondano. Il personale del front desk sembrava troppo interessato ai loro telefoni cellulari rispetto al servizio ospite! Il check-in era alle 3:00, che era buono, ma non c'era chiaramente nessun check-in precoce. Abbiamo pranzo, siamo tornati alle 2:50 e abbiamo detto di nuovo No. Allora 10 minuti dopo, la nostra stanza era pronta. Abbiamo chiesto al custode quando l'abbiamo vista e lei ha detto che la stanza era pronta qualche ora fa! Ci avevamo assegnato la stanza 412. Ci siamo andati al quarto piano e le camere erano 400-411. Nessuna stanza simile dopo la ricerca e la ricerca. Quando siamo tornati a chiedere, ha detto: “Oh, 412 è al terzo piano e le scale sono alzate”. Wow! Intuitivo e sarebbe stato bello sapere. Dovremmo “prenotare” il nostro tempo di colazione anche se era un buffet. Siamo arrivati alle 7:30 e le tavole non erano nemmeno fissate. Non è chiaro perché dovremmo programmare. My stay was replete with issues. The volume of my TV did not work. The electric outlets in my room did not work. When the housekeepers cleaned the room each day, they never left towels. So I had to call reception two days in a row to request them, the phone ringing off the hook because the reception staff don’t pick up if they are talking to a guest in front of them. Reception needs more staffing. Some of the employees ant reception were rude and argued with me about certain things. Unacceptable— need better customer service training. Only staff member who was remotely professional was Jose Alfredo who helped me change rooms. I would never stay here again.

The hotel service is very good, everyone is very friendly. The hotel is very clean, with good heating and beautiful common areas. Excellent location, central and with a good view. You can reach all tourist areas easily. I highly recommend the breakfasts in the morning, they are very good and varied.

Let’s start by saying this hotel is perfectly situated with a wonderful view of the lake and the Orsono Volcano. It’s also an easy walk to the town center. Although the rooms and bathroom could use a bit of an update, they are spacious, clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet provided a wide choice of breads, pastries, fruit, meats, cheeses and made to order eggs. The seating area off the lobby provides a cozy spot to gather for before dinner drinks or just curl up by the huge fireplace with a good book. The reception staff was very helpful providing restaurant recommendations and helping with driving directions to local sites. Would definitely book again.
