This Marriott is a hotel at which their apocryphal three-star experience grows more distant with each attempt you make at attaining it. The Wifi at this Marriott doesn't work, their phones can't reach anyone at the front desk or any hotel operator, and you will be kept awake late into the night by loud partying and doors slamming. The hallways of this Marriott reek of booze, sweat, and smoke. If you manage to reach anyone who works at the hotel after an hour of contact attempts via hotel phone, Marriott hotlines, and online chats with third-party travel sites, Marriott may move you to a smaller room in which no one has stayed since the Clinton administration, with a broken TV, stale air, and a slick layer of grease upon every surface. This Lawrence, Kansas Marriott will downgrade you while exhausting you, until you are a worn-out shadow of the person you once were, hundreds of dollars poorer. Abandon hope, all ye who book the Marriott TownePlace Suites in Lawrence, Kansas.

Quiete, in costo, e proprio nel centro della città, quasi!!!!!

Ho avuto un bellissimo soggiorno di una notte in questo hotel. Ero in città per la ricerca. La stanza era comoda e pulita. Leandra, Kaeley e Josslyn erano gentili al divano e nella zona di pranzo. Mi piaceva il buffet e mi piaceva soprattutto la gentilezza. Ho avuto un costume da bagno e vorrei avere abbastanza tempo per nuotare.

Grande soggiorno, il personale è stato estremamente utile nel processo di controllo.

First the good part: beds were quite comfortable and the room was clean enough. But...the access to the place is quite awkward, coming as it does right after an interchange/overpass on a busy street. The place has obviously been taken over from a previous other brand (I can't think which, but I feel as if I should have recognized it) and has not been spruced up very well. The room had very limited space for us to open out our luggage and the bathroom was so small that the only way two people could be in it at once was if one was in the bathtub. (And you couldn't use the toilet without completely closing the door.) And my husband could not get a shower because the shower selector knob was stuck in the bathtub mode. The breakfast was so-so, although it was available until 9:30. The waffle batter seemed clearly diluted and made very lightweight waffles. The next time we stay in Lawrence, we will know to spend a few more dollars and stay in a more convenient up-to-date place.

Il personale che ha fatto il check-in e l'uscita erano carini e sarò lì la prossima volta che passo attraverso la città, spero per più tempo. :)

I gave this place a negative review last year and I wanna say that it is much improved here. I really enjoyed our stay and I recommend this hotel now. It was clean and comfortable and most importantly I feel safe here. The problems I noted in my previous review about bed. Springs have been rectified. I still didn’t see any cookies but that’s not really a big deal.
