Hotel in zona Scotch Oakburn College Wetlands, Launceston

È un bel hotel! Esso è pulito e dispone di molti elementi di comfort per farvi sentire a casa. Grande posizione, facile da entrare e uscire dalla città. L'ambiente era piacevole e accogliente. Il personale era il più bello personale che abbia mai incontrato in un hotel. Erano sempre amichevoli e chiesero come andava il nostro soggiorno ogni volta che camminava in porta.

Siamo rimasti qui per un ultimo minuto di prenotazione per il lungo fine settimana di marzo. Siamo così felici di averlo fatto. Susie e Gordon erano ospiti caldi e amichevoli, che si sono spostati per rendere la nostra permanenza piacevole e confortevole. Abbiamo soggiornato in “la residenza” con i nostri due bambini adolescenti. Ha un bellissimo nuovo bagno, una cucina e un barbecue all’esterno della zona della patio. Questo è dove abbiamo cucinato cena ogni notte. Abbiamo anche approfittato del Colazione continentale inclusa ogni mattina. Si consiglia molto questo B&B e vorremmo rimanere qui la prossima volta che siamo a Launceston. Grazie Susie e Gordon!

I appreciate a hotel that offers a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave! It always helps being able to cook a little. The view was quite good too, overlooking Launceston, and it was an easy walk into town. Beds weren’t comfy with the springs being closer to the surface than I hoped. And whilst it may be small, the TV only picked up SBS Food. A good channel, but after a big day exploring it’s nice to just zone out which I couldn’t do. Would recommend for a short, overnight stay.

I stayed as a single occupant for a business trip. I didn't need parking and was only staying for one night. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and well equipped. I liked the canvas prints of Tasmanian landmarks. While the fan in the bathroom sounded like a cargo plane taking off, it was easily forgiven as it was only needed when having a shower. The toiletries supplied seemed lovely but I only used to body wash and soap - there was body wash, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, sanitary bag. The bed was comfortable. In the firmer side but I like that. Plenty of comfy pillows. Location was central - the name doesn't lie. I was able to walk easily to many parts of the city. The little details really amplify a stay in a hotel. At Launceston Central it was the fact that there was ear plugs available in the lift. I had forgotten mine and can't sleep without them. Saved me a trip to the chemist!? My biggest regret about my stay is not grabbing the name of the person at reception when I arrived (5:30pm, 14/09). She was personable, authentic and engaging. Employee of the month material. I especially enjoyed her work on a crochet unicorn!!

Mi piaceva il mio soggiorno al Pod Inn!! Pros - Passeggiabile per la maggior parte dei siti più importanti. - Una breve distanza a piedi dai negozi, ristoranti e negozi - Ha un ristorante accanto/associato al (?) ostello - Pods sono privati e spaziosi (e sono un grande uomo!) Letto era anche comodo! - Lumini e aria condizionata regolabili all'interno dei pozzi - Il luogo ha WiFi - Ha una stazione di carico per telefoni all'interno dei pozzi - L'area comune ha cucina Cons - La ricezione è aperta solo durante le ore di lavoro, perciò potrebbe essere difficile contattare chiunque fuori da quelle ore - il bagaglio è fuori - i Pod non sono troppo sonoro Tutti i pochi che non pensavo che mi piacerebbe stare in un hotel di popolare e sono molto felice di avere una splendida esperienza con Pod Inn Launceston!

We stayed at Leisure Inn Pennyroyal for 2 nights this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The building is a quaint old English style building, and our apartment was set over 2 levels - living area on 1st level and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and included reverse cycle aircon/heating in each living area or bedroom. Free wifi is provided which worked well. Free parking is provided in designated spaces. Our room had double glazing which provided both thermal and noise insulation. The apartment is about a 900m walk to downtown, and is a short walk to the river, where it is again a short walk to Cataract Gorge (with lighting at night time). Highly recommend The Gorge restaurant for dinner. The apartment is adjacent to the Pennyroyal Adventures site which has some fun activities such as ziplining and jumping from a cliff. There are also some restaurants and bars nearby. Be aware that the hotel does charge a surcharge for credit card payments, which we avoided by settling our bill by Eftpos Savings at checkin. I’m happy to use a credit card for booking and preauthorisation, but I don’t see any value in paying extra as a means of payment.

Con: I would have given 5 stars except that on Friday night, the last night of a four night stay, we were kept awake until midnight by blaring live music from Mudbar which was on the ground floor below our suite. We were located on Level 2. Even having double white noise playing on our iPhones at full blast didn't drown out the noise. It ruined what had, until then, been a wonderful stay. I know Mudbar is not operated by Peppers Seaport but surely something could be done about the excessive noise. Pros: Wonderful staff from reception to housekeeping. Everyone super friendly and helpful. They should get a pay rise! We were in a Riverview Suite, room 2004. It had a lovely view and a balcony, was spotlessly clean and so spacious with a large living/dining room and a full spacious kitchen minus oven but had a toaster which was great for breakfast. Plenty of storage in the bedroom and the bathroom was really nice. Nicely located for walking around Launceston. The rooms been recently refurbished with new carpet and furniture and it was really comfortable.

Siamo rimasti in una stanza familiare. 2 adulti e 2 bambini. Il sito sembra vecchio e datato dall'esterno, ma mentre la stanza che avevamo era di base era un grande prezzo, una grande posizione e abbastanza grande che non ci stavamo viaggiando l'uno sull'altro. Abbiamo avuto un viaggio molto buono e questa stanza era perfetta per tornare.Ha tutte le strutture che volevamo, tra cui una microonde, ecc.
