Hotel a 3 stelle a Launceston

While there was nothing seriously wrong with the place, there were many things not right. You would expect a 4 person room to have things like 4 sets of glasses or cutlery, but nope. The car parks were also filled with old junk (lounge suite, fridge etc.) and are a very tight fit, if someone doesn't park perfectly don't expect to get your car in. The rooms are very tired and dated. Our room had gaudy pink tiles in the bathroom with a shub rather than a proper shower. We used the laundry once, paid the $2 to use the washing machine which didn't complete its cycle and we returned to find clothes that hadn't been rinsed or spun. The many notes around the rooms made the whole place feel unfriendly - I get that extra costs have to be charged in some cases but a simple welcome book like most motels have that outline the rules is far nicer. Overall though the rooms were clean and the guests were quiet. If you're just looking for a place to stay this place is OK. It worked for us and I'd stay here again if it was just for a night or two.

Come viaggiatore solitario che passa una notte a Launceston, l'Hotel Star è stato la scelta ideale. È situato in posizione centrale e il parcheggio stradale è stato facile da trovare e gratuito tra 17.30 e 09.00 il giorno dopo. La stanza stessa era compatta ma confortevole con un suite. La donna amichevole ed efficiente è stata in grado di aiutare con consigli locali e quando ho deciso di cenare più tardi, il cibo e il servizio sono stati eccezionali. Questo posto è stato un punto di riferimento per il mio viaggio in Tasmania.

I would like to give the reception staff Lisa and Karen 10 out of 10 for wonderful service. I was trying to get a bed for one night and rang the hotel as I'd booked on what I thought was their website - I'd booked the wrong night and couldn't change it. Lisa was the lady I spoke to and she very kindly sorted it for me in such a lovely manner. Then when I arrived Karen was on reception and the welcome was warm and friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Personality plus, what an asset! The room was on the small side but comfortable, spotless and had a fabulous view of the city. It is also within walking distance of two theatres, bars and restaurants. A genuine pleasure to stay here, thank you ladies.

E'molto conveniente, perché c'è un parcheggio all'interno della città.Questo è un tipico hotel australiano, il primo piano dell'edificio è un bar. È molto conveniente per coloro che possono bere in negozi popolari. C'è un caffè vicino, che inizia a lavorare alle sei del mattino, e il pane è delizioso.C'è un negozio giapponese all'altra parte dell'hotel.

The Apartments are located across the road from K-Mart and Coles and are one block away from the park and then the CBD, so it is a convenient location. Our townhouse featured three bedrooms, a laundry, fully equipped kitchen, two toilets and a new barbecue. It was reasonably clean. The staff were helpful, but didn’t go above and beyond and the office is only accessible from 8:00am until 7:00pm. Still, it was good value for money, well managed and quiet, considering that it was full every night. TIP - back your car into your car space so it is easier to get out again in the morning. The car park is very tight when it is full.

In numero due appartamenti in tutta l'Australia, la famiglia ama scegliere più spazio per appartamenti, e è anche conveniente per i bambini fare cibo sano. Questa casa può davvero dire che i dettagli sono buoni. Ciò che serve dovrebbe essere tutto, piccolo, confezionato e condizionato, le strutture di cucina sono di prima classe e hanno fatto un grande pasto di drago!Il prezzo è anche pratico e costoso! Molto consigliato!

Dopo aver appena tornato dal nostro terzo soggiorno e non posso parlare abbastanza dei cottage, siamo rimasti nel pompino, nel grano dolce e nei cottage giardino che sono tutti sorprendenti. Ove si può soggiornare dove si ottiene uova fresche, pane, cereali, succo e tazze di frutta ogni giorno per colazione. Molto relax bella posizione e il personale va sopra e oltre per rendere il vostro personale uno di non dimenticare. Poi ci sono gli animali, è stato così bello svegliarsi alle cordoni, cavalli, polli, gessi e pecore. Ottimo luogo per qualsiasi avventura visiva. Un altro sorprendente soggiorno e sarà prenotato di nuovo quest'anno.

In primo luogo non possiamo trovare la ricezione perché l'indirizzo che ci hanno dato era vuoto. Hv chiamare il ragazzo per portarci lì. La casa è 200% completamente attrezzata con tutto quello che non si può immaginare, anche un frigorifero d'aria, banda aiuto ..... Pulizia nuova n moderna. Grande valore per il prezzo che hai pagato.

We stayed here as a family of five in a Family Room with private ensuite. We checked in 15 minutes early but the lady was happy to give us the keys to the room. The accommodation is upstairs on top of a pub/pokies. There is no lift so you have to walk up two flights of stairs and carry your luggage. Our room was very spacious with two single beds, and a sofa bed in the main living area. There was a private ensuite separating the queen bed room which was perfect for my parents. The room had basic furniture, a TV, fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. My son loved having a bubble bath as we only have a shower at home. The room was clean and the wide windows around the room made a good view of the outside which my son could look out of. Our room was situated next door to the communal kitchen and opposite to the shared bathroom which was very convenient. The hotel is within walking distance to a shopping plaza, restaurants, a KFC, Hungry Jacks, Coles and Woolworths. The only negative was that our room was situated along a busy main road and at night you could hear all the traffic passing by so we didn’t get a good night’s sleep. Also our booking via booking.com said we would get two free welcome drinks for two guests upon arrival but we didn’t get that. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay at Mowbray Hotel and would consider staying here again.
