Hotel vicino a Santuario di Kinomiya, Atami

Sanpeiso was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The ryokan beautifully preserves the atmosphere of traditional Japan while offering excellent comfort and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of every detail throughout our stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and overlooked a peaceful garden, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The onsen was exceptional — the hot spring water felt wonderful after a day of sightseeing, and the entire bathing area was quiet and beautifully maintained. Both dinner and breakfast were served in traditional Japanese style and were outstanding. Every dish was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and showcased seasonal ingredients. It felt like a true cultural experience rather than simply a meal. What impressed us most was the authentic character of the ryokan. Unlike many modernized properties, Sanpeiso retains the charm and elegance of a classic Japanese inn. The combination of attentive service, excellent cuisine, serene surroundings, and high-quality hot springs made our stay unforgettable. If you are looking for an authentic ryokan experience in Atami, I highly recommend Sanpeiso. We would gladly return on our next visit to Japan.

Probabilmente uno dei migliori hotel che abbia mai soggiornato in Giappone, vicino alla stazione Atami, e ogni camera in questo hotel ha la vista sul mare, che è estremamente bella quando è sole. Le camere sono spaziose e molto pulite, il privato è dotato di TV privata per rilassarsi nel bagno caldo. Inoltre hanno pubblico aperto di air on top floor. La prossima volta probabilmente proverò la camera con privato di air on balcone. Hotel New Akao is a huge hotel. It was built quite many many years ago, we stayed at the older wing, so the room tends to be oldish, but well maintained and super clean. For the price we paid, one would expect 5 star facilities, at least a gym for morning workouts, but they did not have that. However, the meals (Dinner & breakfast) provided with the price is fantastic and wide spread. I guess its a onsen hotel so people tend to go there just for the hotel onsen which is great and nice. We do love the big buffet spread of meals. The room is old, if you prefer the rustic feel. There are no convenient store nearby so when it comes to hunger, you only have vending machine beer. We actually expected to have free flow of snacks and beer but it is only limited to very off peak timing when most people are out for their day trips. Again, we feel that the hefty price tag should at least provide that free beer, drinks and snacks all day and all night. Overall, we still love the experience staying in the hotel. A word of advice - avoid peak seasons like New Year, you will expect to queue up for meals :)

Tutto è stato grande e talvolta molto superiore alle nostre aspettative. L'edificio è molto nuovo, ben progettato, ogni camera ha il proprio nome e ha vista panoramica dal balcone. Abbiamo amato tutto sul nostro soggiorno: dai pasti (che erano sorprendentemente buoni, nonostante alcune recensioni negative!) alla spaziosa stanza e rilassamento onsen ... In particolare, vorrei sottolineare il servizio: purtroppo non ho chiesto il nome di un ricevitore che ci ha ospitati, ma il suo caloroso benvenuto, l'inglese perfetto e la sua disponibilità ad aiutare con tutto era caldo! Anche se la posizione è un po' lontana dalla stazione ferroviaria e potrebbe non essere conveniente se il vostro obiettivo è quello di esplorare Atami e il suo ambiente, per coloro che viaggiano in auto (come noi) è perfetto: è in una zona molto tranquilla e tranquilla sulla collina, Ideale per rilassarsi e riposare. Forniscono anche parcheggio gratuito e spazioso, quindi niente da denunciare. Per me, in generale, era 11 su 10.

Grande vista dalla stanza! Bevande e snack gratuiti sono disponibili al piano terra. Si può camminare un po' dal parcheggio, ma si può parcheggiare all'ingresso per un po' per scaricare.

It was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities. The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami! I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future.

Ci siamo trasferiti una notte e abbiamo davvero goduto delle strutture, soprattutto in un giorno piovoso. La notte privata era meravigliosa, e i bagni comuni erano fantastici. La colazione e la cena erano eccellenti e valgono bene il denaro. In generale, la proprietà offre una visione rilassante e confortevole. La televisione offre solo canali giapponesi, quindi aggiungere una TV intelligente con opzioni di streaming sarebbe un bel aggiornamento per gli ospiti internazionali. Siamo stati anche delusi dalla politica di non permettere agli ospiti con tatuaggi di utilizzare i piscine comuni, che potrebbero limitare alcuni viaggiatori. In generale, un soggiorno molto piacevole con grandi attrazioni, cibo e una memorabile esperienza di onsen.

Molto popolare recinto di nozze con famiglie locali. Ma a causa del numero elevato di persone che vivono nel resort, i tempi di buffet successivi non funzionano così bene come il cibo sarebbe uscito. Il cibo è ok, ma sembra che un manager locale molto selezionato abbia ordinato un sacco di giganti di gambe di crab, che ci ha resi super invidiosi. Il resort è molto polveroso e ha provocato la mia allergia, non tornerà.

Il proprietario è molto gentile.L'hotel è molto vicino al mare e alla stazione.La camera può vedere direttamente i fuochi d'artificio e la vista sul mare.Anche la sorgente termale dell'hotel è molto confortevole. Sebbene i servizi igienici e i bagni siano condivisi, sono molto puliti

The hotel is located right by the ocean so you can get a beautiful view first thing in the morning. The room is clean and spacious and has a balcony facing the ocean. Facilities might be a bit old but nonetheless gives you a vintage Japanese feel. The only thing to note is that it is a bit of a trek from the station especially if you arrive at night as it is quiet and a bit dark.
