Hotel vicino a Xinxing, Kaohsiung

Proprio come dice il nome della struttura, sono molto gentili. La stanza spaziosa, la colazione molto variata. Al secondo piano vi è la possibilità di fare il bucato gratuitamente, sapone e asciugatrice come anche ferro da stiro sono messi a disposizione. All’entrata della struttura vi è un piccolo luogo di incontro dove ci si può fornite di qualche snack o gelati gratuiti. (2 pz al giorno per persona). Il personale è stato molto cordiale. La zona comoda, la metropolitana si trova a circa 5 minuti a piedi.

The check in was very nice, the hotel staff were well trained and provided a pleasant experience. The rooms itself also had more pluses than minuses, my expectations were definitely uplifted upon first checking in. My gripes with the hotel are definitely more of a personal issue, I will start off by stating that I am a very sensitive sleeper and also nitpicky when it comes to my showers. First of all, the room sound proofing was not the best, I could hear the traffic outside the window throughout the night and into the morning. Granted I did stay on the 6th floor, so I'd imagine this becomes less of an issue the higher the room is located (up to 19th floor). Second, the bed was very slightly uneven and bumpy. Like a well-worn bed that has been slept on many a nights, the maintenance of the mattress was not stellar. For travellers that can knock themselves out even on a wooden plank, this probably won't faze you. But for those on the unlucky spectrum of sensitive sleepers like myself, it was a nightmare. So much so that I opted to check out early at 6AM the second morning, because I couldn't get a wink of sleep in. Lastly, the showers. This isn't about the water quality, because Kaohsiung is known to have hard water and poor water quality that cannot be compensated by water softeners no matter where you go. But this hotel simply does not allow for cold showers, to my bafflement. My body temperature runs pretty warm, so I usually have cold showers to help me regulate my temperature. The hotel shower starts off cool, but after nary a few seconds the coldest end of the knob turns into fully warm water. You can only choose between warm or really hot showers. This came as a shocker, because KS is also known to be really warm all year round. Only having warm or hot showers sound like a potential safety hazard for travellers not well acclimated to the heat. I do not know if this is a byproduct of the types of water treatment the hotel uses to treat the hard water supply, but it was definitely very off-putting to say the least. Overall, the hotel was decent on the surface. There was class and quality in its well maintained splendour. But for my fellow sensitive and higher maintenance travellers out there, I would recommend opting for another hotel if you're in the ballpark to spend on a classy hotel anyways.

L'hotel è situato nel luogo di trasporto di comodità. Facile per viaggiare in altre aree, vicino all'hotel ha anche un fast food e comodità. L'hotel stesso è pulito si può lasciare il bagaglio prima del check-in. A me piace l'area comune vicino alla reception.È bello e avere un drink e un drink per l'ospite dell'hotel. Molto impressionante. Se avete una possibilità ritornerà.

L'hotel è nuovissimo e la qualità è molto buona! Mi piace molto lo stile, stile retrò, la stanza ha anche una vasca da bagno e quando esci sarai proprio al secondo piano! L'unico inconveniente è che non c'è un parcheggio dedicato dell'hotel

Tutto è stato buono durante il mio soggiorno in questo hotel. L'illuminazione della stanza era un po' troppo oscura per me, ma non era un problema durante il giorno, perché c'era molta luce solare dalla finestra. Mi piace che mettano una tavola da caffè e una sedia a mano dalla finestra, rendendo molto piacevole leggere durante il giorno. La posizione è una buona, circa 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione MRT più vicina. La strada alla stazione era chiara e aveva una varietà di negozi locali da esplorare.

As sudden business trip, I arrived at Kaoshiung airport that feels an old school beauty. The hotel has YouTube enable TV and bed was one of the best I’ve slept on. Even though the flight was super early.

Overall the hotel was very nice. It was modern. The check in staff was very helpful and at least one person on staff always spoke English. Note that the staff at breakfast were super cute older ladies and they don't speak English. Pros: Modern design. Newer hotel. Large beds (stayed in a standard quad room). The twin bed rooms were also bigger and nice. The shower was really great. It was super high pressure. Bidet for the toilet. Big bathrooms. You can turn on the vent and dry clothes that you hang to dry. The 13th floor area is nice with snacks through the afternoon and evening and coffee. They provide free sparkling water and regular water for the rooms. Very well designed with great storage since there wasn't much floor space. Cons: Location wasn't really next to many food areas. There's a Starbucks. You have to walk around 5-10 min, which is fine, but it's not the usual vibes you would imagine having in Taiwan. Unlike Taipei, the city is a sleepy town. A lot of businesses are just randomly closed during work hours and regular business days. There is a 7-11. The night market nearby is small. The breakfast needs a little help. After 2 days, it's the same food over and over. We were there for 7nights, so you can imagine it was a bit tiresome. I hope they can provide more variety. Even the soup only changed once. So 6 breakfasts it was miso soup. 1 breakfast was a corn soup (good, but never came back). Another major con is the hotel has no direct email address, so you can't contact them directly. I had to speak with the Leisure group hotels via FB messenger. They never responded via the Line App. We chose this hotel because it's newer and had the room arrangements that we needed for our group (12 rooms). Big buses can wait outside for you. You can't make much noise in this hotel. We got warnings every day and that was just when we were hanging out in the lobby waiting for the elevator. Overall the hotel was good value and great for a soccer team since we had the 13th floor for our team meetings and for hanging out at night.

Bagni e docce condivisi sono puliti più volte al giorno • posizione: 5 min a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria, conveniente se si dispone di un breve soggiorno ma lontano dal negozio principale e dai luoghi turistici • personale: non dicono ”no”, quindi se hai una richiesta, prova a aiutarli al meglio. Molto apprezzato migliorare il mio contesto: viaggio 320 giorni all'anno da 8 anni, soggiornando in tutta la gamma di alloggi da ostello a 5star. Solo riesco a valutare obiettivo ciò che vedo senza giudizio

Hotel economico molto semplice con stanze piuttosto piccole. Tutto funziona e il mio letto era comodo. Il personale è stato molto gentile e mi ha aiutato a cambiare stanza con una con frigorifero in modo che il mio cibo non si rovinasse.
