Hotel vicino a Spiaggia Cijin Beach, Kaohsiung

Proprio come dice il nome della struttura, sono molto gentili. La stanza spaziosa, la colazione molto variata. Al secondo piano vi è la possibilità di fare il bucato gratuitamente, sapone e asciugatrice come anche ferro da stiro sono messi a disposizione. All’entrata della struttura vi è un piccolo luogo di incontro dove ci si può fornite di qualche snack o gelati gratuiti. (2 pz al giorno per persona). Il personale è stato molto cordiale. La zona comoda, la metropolitana si trova a circa 5 minuti a piedi.

The check in was very nice, the hotel staff were well trained and provided a pleasant experience. The rooms itself also had more pluses than minuses, my expectations were definitely uplifted upon first checking in. My gripes with the hotel are definitely more of a personal issue, I will start off by stating that I am a very sensitive sleeper and also nitpicky when it comes to my showers. First of all, the room sound proofing was not the best, I could hear the traffic outside the window throughout the night and into the morning. Granted I did stay on the 6th floor, so I'd imagine this becomes less of an issue the higher the room is located (up to 19th floor). Second, the bed was very slightly uneven and bumpy. Like a well-worn bed that has been slept on many a nights, the maintenance of the mattress was not stellar. For travellers that can knock themselves out even on a wooden plank, this probably won't faze you. But for those on the unlucky spectrum of sensitive sleepers like myself, it was a nightmare. So much so that I opted to check out early at 6AM the second morning, because I couldn't get a wink of sleep in. Lastly, the showers. This isn't about the water quality, because Kaohsiung is known to have hard water and poor water quality that cannot be compensated by water softeners no matter where you go. But this hotel simply does not allow for cold showers, to my bafflement. My body temperature runs pretty warm, so I usually have cold showers to help me regulate my temperature. The hotel shower starts off cool, but after nary a few seconds the coldest end of the knob turns into fully warm water. You can only choose between warm or really hot showers. This came as a shocker, because KS is also known to be really warm all year round. Only having warm or hot showers sound like a potential safety hazard for travellers not well acclimated to the heat. I do not know if this is a byproduct of the types of water treatment the hotel uses to treat the hard water supply, but it was definitely very off-putting to say the least. Overall, the hotel was decent on the surface. There was class and quality in its well maintained splendour. But for my fellow sensitive and higher maintenance travellers out there, I would recommend opting for another hotel if you're in the ballpark to spend on a classy hotel anyways.

Conveniently located across the main train station (to note it is not the high speed rail station) and within walking distance to Liuhe night market. Familiar fast food establishments are also nearby. Hotel also provides a refreshment area at level 1 where guests have access to ice cream, biscuits, drinks.

Great location, able to take MRT (redline) directly from Kaohsiung airport to Kaohsiung Main Station , then just walk across the street, hotel is right there. Hotel room is reasonable size, nicely setup. Since it's close to MRT station, you can get to anywhere easily. Great food choices including street food is just within walking distance. We left Kaohsiung to Taipei by high speed train, it's also very easy to get to Zuo-ying Station from hotel. Just take TRA local train (station is same as the MRT station) to New Zuo-Ying Station and transfer to the high speed train. It was a bit confusing in the beginning but if you ask anyone at the station, they are always happy to answer you. People are extremely friendly

L'hotel è relativamente pulito. Rimase in una camera singola con un letto semi-doppio. Dimensioni decente ma non si è reso conto che era dietro gli ascensori, poteva sentire l'ascensore spostarsi attraverso il giorno. La posizione della testa del doccia è piuttosto cattiva. Non è in un angolo è molto simile a spray direttamente nel vostro corpo. Sarebbe bello se potessero affrontare questo. È a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di metro, quindi non chiuso. C'era anche un cazzo nel bagno.

I booked this hotel because of next day flight. However, this hotel still needs to be access by taxi. Hotel is quiet, room is clean. 2 Water bottles are avb. Theres no facilities avb in this hotel except breakfast and almost all day coffee/tea and chips/biscuits (forgot the exact time). Nevertheless, the breakfast is really below so so, all food is not warm at all and limited choices. We finally went to Starbucks across the street.

Un tubo caldo per rilassarsi e lavare. La colazione non è molto ispirante con poche opzioni e non molto gusto. Bagni e docce condivisi sono puliti più volte al giorno • posizione: 5 min a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria, conveniente se si dispone di un breve soggiorno ma lontano dal negozio principale e dai luoghi turistici • personale: non dicono ”no”, quindi se hai una richiesta, prova a aiutarli al meglio. Molto apprezzato migliorare il mio contesto: viaggio 320 giorni all'anno da 8 anni, soggiornando in tutta la gamma di alloggi da ostello a 5star. Solo riesco a valutare obiettivo ciò che vedo senza giudizio

Hotel economico molto semplice con stanze piuttosto piccole. Tutto funziona e il mio letto era comodo. Il personale è stato molto gentile e mi ha aiutato a cambiare stanza con una con frigorifero in modo che il mio cibo non si rovinasse.
