## Review of Homestay in Tianjin / 天津民宿评价 I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful homestay in the 杨柳青 area of Tianjin, and I can't recommend it highly enough. As a stressed entrepreneur and doctor traveling from Shanghai, this trip was a much-needed break for me, and the homestay exceeded all my expectations. 我最近有幸住在天津杨柳青地区的一家很棒的民宿，我强烈推荐这里。作为一名从上海来的压力很大的企业家和医生，这次旅行对我来说是一段急需的休息时间，而这家民宿远远超出了我的预期。 The 杨柳青 area is incredibly peaceful, offering a serene environment that is perfect for reflection and deep thinking. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing a tranquil oasis where I could relax and recharge. 杨柳青地区非常宁静，提供了一个适合反思和深思的安静环境。这里是远离城市喧嚣的绝佳之地，提供了一个可以放松和充电的宁静绿洲。 The design of the homestay is very traditional, showcasing beautiful elements of Chinese architecture. For foreigners wanting to experience authentic Chinese design and culture, this is a fantastic place to stay. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the tasteful decor. It felt like a home away from home, which is exactly what you need when you're looking to unwind. 这家民宿的设计非常传统，展示了美丽的中国建筑元素。对于想要体验真正中国设计和文化的外国人来说，这是一个绝佳的住宿地点。每个细节似乎都经过了深思熟虑，从舒适的家具到雅致的装饰。它感觉就像一个远离家的家，这正是你在寻找放松时所需要的。 The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. They were attentive and always ready to assist with anything I needed, which I truly appreciated. 主人非常热情，从我到达的那一刻起就让我有宾至如归的感觉。他们的热情好客增添了个人色彩，使我的住宿更加愉快。他们非常细心，总是准备好提供我需要的任何帮助，这让我非常感激。 If you check my other reviews, you'll see that I often travel by train to various cities from Shanghai and stay at different places. Out of all the places I've stayed, this homestay in Tianjin stands out as one of the best. A very new hotel with everything superb duper new!  Pros - clean and new (but towels, linen due to new cause a lot of dust flying everywhere.) Housekeepers are very friendly and polite. Front desk, also friendly but need more practicing on check-in procedure (standardize). Room very spacious and comfortable!!!! Oh ya, the breakfast just perfect!!! Lovely and full!!! The laundry room makes our trip just perfect!!!  Cons - Location far away from Subway Station (1km away). Road along the way from Subway to Hotel not so smooth, inconvenient to walk with Luggages (Suggest to take DiDi ehailing)  However, locations available for many foods/restaurants. (McDonald’s within 1 mins distance, and 3-5 mins away for restaurants/coffee shops nearby.) you may also enjoy the rental bicycle (blue color pay with Alipay) to anywhere, superb convenient too!!

👌Had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel. Relocated there after a booking mishap caused us to change hotels since the hotel we were staying at in the city became overbooked. We decided to move to this one since it was closer to the airport and we had an early morning flight originating from Binhai (2days after) 👌We had a beautiful room for a family of 3( business room)The room was exceptionally clean and also quite spacious. Facilities are excellent with an on-site laundry room that allows self-service. We didn’t have breakfast since we slept in. 👌Received a very warm welcome from Liu at the front desk, check in was smooth and quick. We had a small issue in the room about noise from upstairs but she resolved it and explained the reason why and apologised for the inconvenience. 👌In the morning, two of us had to return to Beijing for a meeting, the lovely and kind ladies on duty Pang, who spoke English and Wang helped us organise transportation to the airport so we could get the subway train ( there’s a direct subway to Tianjin railway station originating from the airport ) to Beijing. While we waited for the car, they offered us refreshments (tea and water) 👌The driver Wang was so kind and spoke English and helped advise us on the train schedules so we wouldn’t miss the train back since we were returning back from Beijing to Tianjin in the evening to stay the night and leave for our morning flight. 👌They also organised a pick up from the airport when we arrived back to Tianjin late at night to the hotel. 👌The stay was made awesome and comfortable due to the impeccable and excellent service, kindness and eye for detail shown by the staff. 🥳Kudos to Ms Pang, Ms Wang , Mr.Wang and Ms Liu who made our stay even more comfortable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👌The hotel is near the airport and is suitable for travellers who have flights at Tianjin International airport and want to avoid the commute from the city. There are restaurants downstairs as well if you arrive late and need a meal. Nearby surroundings looks like residential area so works for those looking for a quiet stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

La prima scelta per viaggiare con i bambini! La posizione è ottima e il servizio in stile maggiordomo è molto premuroso. Dopo l'arrivo in hotel, sono passato a una suite genitore-figlio. I bambini possono vedere la vista notturna del fiume Haihe, delle navi da crociera. La ruota panoramica, il ponte Dagu, il ponte Jiefang, ecc. Senza uscire, mi piace molto la piccola colonna sottomarina disposta nella stanza ~ Ho anche assistito allo spettacolo musicale durante il Primo Maggio, che è stato molto emozionante! Dopo aver lasciato il ristorante dell'hotel, sei proprio vicino al fiume Haihe. È molto comodo passeggiare lungo il fiume Haihe di notte e al mattino!

Awful, terrible and unbelievable! Extremely disappointed with this hotel! Originally we booked another hotel in the city centre, but after considering that we only had around 18hours for the stay due to our flight connection, we decided to book a hotel nearby the airport. We booked our room that was with the window facing hallway. When we entered, we were happy about the room's cleanliness and its new interior, although they only offered the basic amenities that were toothbrush and a hair comb. They were good enough for us as we had our own other toilet amenities like ear buds. They also offered two types of tea bags. After checking-in, we left the room and went out. Then the nightmare started after our return. First of all, after using the toilet, the toilet could not be flushed and was blocked. In addition, the air conditioning in the room was not giving cold air but rather only giving heat. We had to call to the reception. We understood that it was late in the night, around 1am mid night, so we expected no one would be able to fix the toilet and though we only had a few hours ie 5hrs to be in the room before checking out, reception asked us to change the room. We informed about the air conditioning as well and what we got told was we had to turn on the air conditioning for which we did. The answer was not helpful. They changed our room to another room which was just right next door to the original one. The air conditioning situation was the same. (Photos were attached, pls note the temperature in the room) As we mentioned earlier, we had to leave hotel by 630am and we didn't bother to ask any question again. Obviously, we could not sleep due to the heat in the room. Secondly, we left the room and went down for the pick up. Hotel offered free drop off/pick up service to/from the airport and shared with others. We appreciated that service. However, if knowing our pick up service was shared, shouldn't the hotel check in advance if the vehicle had enough space to accommodate all suitcases?? As if the hotel wanted to provide this thoughtful and heartfelt service. No one asked when we booked the drop off service. The vehicle on that morning was only shared by another guest with his one suitcase. We could not accommodate our four suitcases including 2big and 2small suitcases. Though the driver insisted his vehicle could fit. It took time to arrange the space on that vehicle neither we would get comfortable by sitting in such limited space. We did not want the other guest to wait. We decided to call our own transport which was fine as the cost was often at a good price in China. Lastly, knowing our departure from the hotel would cost us to miss the breakfast provided by the hotel, when we checked in, we purposely declined to receive the breakfast vouchers. However, the hotel was nice enough to provide a take away bag with breakfast for us when we checked out. But the most hilarious thing was that they only provide One breakfast and the fact that we should entitled TWO breakfast. Once again, if the hotel wanted to provide such a thoughtful and heartfelt service, they would have done the job better rather than just giving and not doing them properly neither in a much detailed efforts. All of these led us to write our first lifetime negative comment. We hate to do it but we had to express how terrible it was on our first time visit and stay at this hotel in Tianjin. PLS NOTE: Our room reached 30 Degrees Celsius and the so called Air Conditioning was ON.

Di recente ho soggiornato in questo fantastico hotel ed è stata un'esperienza meravigliosa. Dalla calorosa accoglienza da parte dell'addetto alla reception, Duke, alla pulizia impeccabile e ai servizi ben tenuti, tutto ha superato le mie aspettative. La piscina e la palestra erano fantastiche per il relax e il facile processo di check-in e check-out ha reso il mio soggiorno senza problemi. La comoda posizione si aggiunge alla comodità generale. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole.

Posto fantastico. Servizio caloroso e premuroso. Dipendenti molto amichevoli. Hotel elegante e di alta qualità. Soggiorno di prim'ordine.

La camera era spaziosa, l'ambiente era splendido, il servizio super attento e i servizi erano di prima classe e confortevoli. È la seconda volta che soggiorno qui e anche il prezzo è molto ragionevole.

Quiet neighbourhood with a handful of restaurants nearby including McDonald's. Room is clean, towels are sanitised and sealed in bags. A bit of through traffic as it's alongside a multi lane highway but wasn't noisy. Amenities are basic, 5 mins walk to the closest MRT station, about 40 mins train ride to commute to Tianjin railway station, direct line 9. Ample free parking in front of the hotel. Good for overnight or short stay.
