## Review of Homestay in Tianjin / 天津民宿评价 I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful homestay in the 杨柳青 area of Tianjin, and I can't recommend it highly enough. As a stressed entrepreneur and doctor traveling from Shanghai, this trip was a much-needed break for me, and the homestay exceeded all my expectations. 我最近有幸住在天津杨柳青地区的一家很棒的民宿，我强烈推荐这里。作为一名从上海来的压力很大的企业家和医生，这次旅行对我来说是一段急需的休息时间，而这家民宿远远超出了我的预期。 The 杨柳青 area is incredibly peaceful, offering a serene environment that is perfect for reflection and deep thinking. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the tasteful decor. It felt like a home away from home, which is exactly what you need when you're looking to unwind. 这家民宿的设计非常传统，展示了美丽的中国建筑元素。对于想要体验真正中国设计和文化的外国人来说，这是一个绝佳的住宿地点。每个细节似乎都经过了深思熟虑，从舒适的家具到雅致的装饰。它感觉就像一个远离家的家，这正是你在寻找放松时所需要的。 The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. Out of all the places I've stayed, this homestay in Tianjin stands out as one of the best. Il hotel è molto confortevole, ma è molto confortevole. Il mio unico problema era che avevano camere/suoifici e anche se avevamo una stanza non fumatori ci sono stati degli ospiti che ancora fumavano nelle scale. Non c'è molto per il cibo intorno alla zona, ma per un taxi di 5-10 minuti si può arrivare in una zona con più opzioni, tra cui alcune opzioni occidentali se si desidera questo tipo.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel 20 anni fa quando era ancora l'ex Sheraton Hotel. Dopodiché e ancora ora, il servizio è splendido, i partecipanti alla reception ci hanno salutato caldamente, soprattutto Sally Guo. Ci ha preso cura di noi, andando oltre i suoi confini, e sono atti di gentilezza come questo che rappresenta davvero un hotel dominante di 5 stelle 20 anni fa e ora ancora. Le strutture e la ricreazione, ogni aspetto di questo hotel è davvero di prima colazione con servizio di cura completo. Grazie Sally e a tutti i rappresentanti di questo hotel.

La prima scelta per viaggiare con i bambini! La posizione è ottima e il servizio in stile maggiordomo è molto premuroso. Dopo l'arrivo in hotel, sono passato a una suite genitore-figlio. I bambini possono vedere la vista notturna del fiume Haihe, delle navi da crociera. La ruota panoramica, il ponte Dagu, il ponte Jiefang, ecc. Senza uscire, mi piace molto la piccola colonna sottomarina disposta nella stanza ~ Ho anche assistito allo spettacolo musicale durante il Primo Maggio, che è stato molto emozionante! Dopo aver lasciato il ristorante dell'hotel, sei proprio vicino al fiume Haihe. È molto comodo passeggiare lungo il fiume Haihe di notte e al mattino!

Awful, terrible and unbelievable! Extremely disappointed with this hotel! Originally we booked another hotel in the city centre, but after considering that we only had around 18hours for the stay due to our flight connection, we decided to book a hotel nearby the airport. We booked our room that was with the window facing hallway. When we entered, we were happy about the room's cleanliness and its new interior, although they only offered the basic amenities that were toothbrush and a hair comb. They were good enough for us as we had our own other toilet amenities like ear buds. They also offered two types of tea bags. After checking-in, we left the room and went out. Then the nightmare started after our return. First of all, after using the toilet, the toilet could not be flushed and was blocked. In addition, the air conditioning in the room was not giving cold air but rather only giving heat. We had to call to the reception. We understood that it was late in the night, around 1am mid night, so we expected no one would be able to fix the toilet and though we only had a few hours ie 5hrs to be in the room before checking out, reception asked us to change the room. We informed about the air conditioning as well and what we got told was we had to turn on the air conditioning for which we did. The answer was not helpful. They changed our room to another room which was just right next door to the original one. The air conditioning situation was the same. (Photos were attached, pls note the temperature in the room) As we mentioned earlier, we had to leave hotel by 630am and we didn't bother to ask any question again. Obviously, we could not sleep due to the heat in the room. Secondly, we left the room and went down for the pick up. Hotel offered free drop off/pick up service to/from the airport and shared with others. We appreciated that service. However, if knowing our pick up service was shared, shouldn't the hotel check in advance if the vehicle had enough space to accommodate all suitcases?? As if the hotel wanted to provide this thoughtful and heartfelt service. No one asked when we booked the drop off service. The vehicle on that morning was only shared by another guest with his one suitcase. We could not accommodate our four suitcases including 2big and 2small suitcases. Though the driver insisted his vehicle could fit. It took time to arrange the space on that vehicle neither we would get comfortable by sitting in such limited space. We did not want the other guest to wait. We decided to call our own transport which was fine as the cost was often at a good price in China. Lastly, knowing our departure from the hotel would cost us to miss the breakfast provided by the hotel, when we checked in, we purposely declined to receive the breakfast vouchers. However, the hotel was nice enough to provide a take away bag with breakfast for us when we checked out. But the most hilarious thing was that they only provide One breakfast and the fact that we should entitled TWO breakfast. Once again, if the hotel wanted to provide such a thoughtful and heartfelt service, they would have done the job better rather than just giving and not doing them properly neither in a much detailed efforts. All of these led us to write our first lifetime negative comment. We hate to do it but we had to express how terrible it was on our first time visit and stay at this hotel in Tianjin. PLS NOTE: Our room reached 30 Degrees Celsius and the so called Air Conditioning was ON.

Posto fantastico. Servizio caloroso e premuroso. Dipendenti molto amichevoli. Hotel elegante e di alta qualità. Soggiorno di prim'ordine.

La camera era spaziosa, l'ambiente era splendido, il servizio super attento e i servizi erano di prima classe e confortevoli. È la seconda volta che soggiorno qui e anche il prezzo è molto ragionevole.

Quiet neighbourhood with a handful of restaurants nearby including McDonald's. Room is clean, towels are sanitised and sealed in bags. A bit of through traffic as it's alongside a multi lane highway but wasn't noisy. Amenities are basic, 5 mins walk to the closest MRT station, about 40 mins train ride to commute to Tianjin railway station, direct line 9. Ample free parking in front of the hotel. Good for overnight or short stay.
