Straordinario
MMchia YIt’s a landed property with 3 floors. No lift, so either leave your heavy luggage downstairs or carry up on your own.
Smaller public space and kitchen but good enough to stay around.
The hostel is well managed with fans to air and dry out the space. 4 toilets and 3 showers for 4 bedrooms (around 28 beds I think). But if not all using the shower room or toilet at the same time. It’s just nice. Would be good if there’s 1 or 2 more hangers in the shower and toilet.
The room is clean and bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is included with simple white toast, one egg each and jam.
Although location is 20 mins bus to downtown, it’s close to train station to travel to other small town and convenient stop for 台湾好行. I had no issue as vegetarian as there are eateries around within 5-30 mins walking distance and convenient stores at station.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful. There are travel information available for last minute planning.
Free bike renting starts from 10am. There’s postal service too.

UUtente ospitePool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed.
Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door.
Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes.
2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor.
Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately.

DDongfang QingcangIl Chaikuo Waterfront è un luogo meraviglioso per soggiornare sull'isola verde. L'hotel dispone di un'atmosfera tranquilla, rilassata e una bella posizione vicino al mare, che fa sentire come un'isola perfetta fuga. È stata una bella base per esplorare l'isola verde, pur avendo un posto tranquillo e confortevole per tornare dopo.
Il quartiere era particolarmente memorabile: vicino al fianco dell’acqua, il soggiorno si sentiva molto atmosferico, con aria fresca, vista sugli oceani, e il ritmo tranquillo della vita insulare intorno. Il luogo si sentiva pulito, benvenuto e con pensiero, con un semplice fascino che si adattava perfettamente all'isola verde.
Raccomanderò senza dubbio Chaikuo Waterfront ai viaggiatori che desiderano un alloggio che si sente intima, scenica, e collegato alla bellezza naturale dell'isola. E 'una grande scelta per coppie, amici, o chiunque cerca un soggiorno tranquillo vicino al mare.

IIrvineMom820Il nostro soggiorno in questo hotel è stato un'esperienza mista e, nel complesso, non lo considererei degno del prezzo.
L'hotel in sé è vecchio e le strutture sembrano molto datate. Pur vantando un'ampia piscina e un'area benessere, queste erano inutilizzabili durante il nostro soggiorno perché l'acqua era fredda. Non abbiamo visto nessuno usarle. La ”piscina di bellezza”, pubblicizzata come dotata di acqua riscaldata, è stata deludente a causa di un forte odore di fogna. Inoltre, la sauna non è gratuita per gli ospiti dell'hotel, il che ci è sembrato irragionevole.
Anche l'esperienza culinaria è stata deludente. Il cibo à la carte del ristorante era di qualità inferiore alla media, le porzioni erano piccole e i prezzi erano alti. Tuttavia, l'atmosfera era piacevole, anche se è stato strano essere gli unici clienti alle 20:00. Una nota positiva: la colazione era eccellente. Le darei quattro stelle per la varietà di cibo locale e aborigeno, che è stato un punto forte del soggiorno.
Anche gli orari delle attività per i bambini erano scomodi. Mentre i bambini potevano giocare a biliardo e a ping pong gratuitamente la sera (dopo il nostro arrivo alle 19:00), tutte le altre attività erano programmate per la tarda mattinata o il primo pomeriggio, dopo l'orario di check-out.
Un altro svantaggio è la posizione dell'hotel. È lontano da ristoranti e zone trafficate, il che rende necessario avere un'auto o prendere un taxi.
L'unico aspetto positivo del nostro soggiorno è stata la camera. Abbiamo prenotato la camera/suite familiare premium, che offriva zone notte separate per genitori e bambini, una caratteristica che abbiamo apprezzato. Tuttavia, il prezzo era più alto, del 25% in più. Avevo richiesto una camera con vista e l'addetto alla reception è stato molto disponibile, cosa che ho apprezzato.
Nel complesso, sebbene la camera e la colazione fossero buone, il resto dell'esperienza non giustificava il costo o il disagio. Non consiglierei questo hotel a meno che non vengano apportati miglioramenti significativi alle strutture e ai servizi.

TtwinkleracI had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel.
There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant.
Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on.
Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another.
In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

UUtente ospiteQuesto è un posto molto bello. Voglio davvero la mia stanza. Interno pulito e moderno. L'unico posto in basso potrebbe essere l'ubicazione. E'vicina alla stazione ferroviaria. Ma non c'è molto vicino per il cibo. Probabilmente è meglio noleggiare un scooter per esplorare Taitung per rendere il vostro soggiorno più conveniente. Sono anche un sacco di negozi scooter vicino alla stazione ferroviaria.

Yyona vanI had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open.
As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore.
I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right.
In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.
