Hotel in zona u-mudi mall, Lagos

Sono rimasto qui per una settimana di lavoro. Questo hotel ha un ottimo servizio dalla ricezione alla custodia alla camera. La stanza che ho ottenuto è stata spaziale e molto tranquilla - grande per un buon sonno notturno. L'hotel ha un ottimo centro benessere e spa. Il cibo è di alta qualità, ma non particolarmente creativo, e nessun piatto principale a base di piante.

Ci ha voluto un po' per entrare.Il portatore ci ha portati in una stanza che si è ingoiato di fumo di sigaretta e di fumo. Hanno sprayato un sacco di frigoriferi d'aria per cercare di mascherare l'odore. Non ha funzionato e entrambi gli odori ti renderebbero nausea o ti darebbero un mal di testa. Ho chiesto un'altra stanza ...i non era felice quando non c'era una nella mia gamma disponibile (admetto che era vals weekend) perché hanno cercato di tornare il braccio per pagare per un aggiornamento. Ho rifiutato e ho chiesto un rimborso. Il piacevole manager mi calmò e mi chiese di restare. Ho fatto un piacevole pasto nel loro ristorante. Fortunatamente hanno costruito un'altra stanza per noi. Non ha profumo così male. Ma in fretta ... hanno dimenticato la nostra acqua in bottiglia e il tovagliolo extra. La sua ubriacona è stata un'inconveniente. Poi siamo andati alla piscina per bere ...i è stato disorientato con i cocktail e un orribile torta di crema di ghiaccio frittata. Finalmente accanto a noi c'erano un gruppo di ragazzi poveri ...uno fumava un joint ...esplica molte località pubbliche che si sono profumate ****...it è stato un caso di non volevo rimanere qui o di quei ragazzi non dovrebbero essere li fumando ****.. Il sistema TV dell'hotel è un po' di dolore da operare ...e sedili di tessuto nella stanza non era buono ...possiate vedere tinture non a differenza di sperma ...molto fuori mettere ....ma le camere erano davvero buone dimensioni, Buona acc e prezzo decente per l'isola di Victoria .....i rimarrebbe lì ancora ... spero avrebbero fermato le persone a fumare **** lì..

It was a disappointing stay. The room was ok but the bed linen was as tired s I was. The shower didn't drain, and the taps on the bath were detached from the wall. The room service was ok, but the soup was only warm and had a skin on it and the chef obviously hadn't read the lit of ingredients the menu quoted for the main dish. Dinner in the restaurant was equally disappointing. The Spring rolls had lost their spring, not crunchy and the filling lacked flavour and substance resulting in a soggy tasteless mush. The Prawn cocktail was the final cherry on this disappointing presentation. The prawns were dry and over cooked.

Set in the city’s highbrow area of Ikeja, 3 miles from Murtala Muhammed International airport and ten minutes from the commercial district of Allen Avenue, is the luxury boutique CitiHeight Hotel. It is also in the vicinity of several global hotel brands including Ibis, Sheraton and Radisson Blu. Having booked our holiday straight after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s July 19th announcement, my daughter and I took our first post COVID-19 international trip in search of some culturally relevant inspiration. Lagos was a great option as it is on the UK government’s amber list of countries and a destination where we could really get immersed in the culture. Our UK airport experience was hectic to say the least, and we arrived a day later than scheduled. Even the most-prepared traveller is advised to have two or three back-up plans in case of “incaseities”. I sent a quick email to the hotel, explaining the last minute change in plans and luckily for us, Banji, the hotel manager was very accommodating and sympathetic to our plight. Upon arrival, we were treated like VIP’s by the polite and friendly hotel staff who took our luggage and escorted us to our room on the 6th floor. Prior to our travel, we had made reservations through booking.com and in response to our welcome email, we made a special request for “a high floor with a birds eye view”. While our preference was peace and privacy, we anticipated endless trips down to the restaurant and bar. Our executive room was pretty much like the photos on the website. Palatial, lustrous and spacious, featuring a plush king size bed with bespoke bedside cabinets and an inviting lounge area. Alongside the usual amenities, there was the obligatory hand sanitizer, but I couldn’t help but notice the bold and intriguing artwork decorating the walls. What a fantastic way to showcase emerging as well as established artists. CitiHeight is a luxury boutique hotel, on par with international standards, and I would go as far as calling it an ‘art hotel’ considering the vast art collection and attention to visual aesthetics. The allure for me was the authentic art pieces dotted throughout the hotel. From the hotel entrance, to the lobby, restaurant, and on every floor. I saw choice object d’art pieces that fused local elements of traditional art within the luxury architecture, giving the hotel a sense of high-end opulence fused with contemporary cool. I began to envisage a ‘classic meets contemporary’ theme for a photo shoot. Tip: Take some Instagrammable shots around the hotel (Do not touch artwork). Pool Life: When it comes to ‘pool life’ at CitiHeight, just grab a sunbed and relax. Although the pool lacks an outside view, poolside was a popular hangout for my daughter and her friends. Since it had a private/secret garden feel that was ideal for swimming, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun during the day. Ho avuto un bel tempo all’Ibis Hotel a Lagos. Ma la mia più grande delusione è stata che il mio telefono è stato rubato da uno dei guardiani di sicurezza dell’Ibis. Riposo al lato della piscina e purtroppo ho dormito. Quando sono salito, non riuscivo a trovare il mio telefono. Non sapendo che un guardiano di sicurezza ha rubato il mio iPhone 11. Ma poi abbiamo recuperato il telefono da lui.
