We stayed for 3 nights in L'intime in May 2025. Beautiful B&B and great location. Laurence and Frédéric are very hospitable hosts, even opening the pool early every morning for me. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

My wife and I spent three nights here in October. It is an excellent facility. The hosts are knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The food was exceptional. It is a great base for exploring the region and hiking. We highly recommend it.

We just finished four wonderful nights at this charming B&B, and it was the highlight of our honeymoon in France. Laurence and Frédéric are kind and attentive hosts who seem to have thought of everything. Our room was comfortable and beautiful, the breakfasts were fantastic (Laurence’s homemade jams are incredible!) and the location is perfect - close to many beautiful villages nearby, and La Roque-Gageac itself is close enough to walk with plenty of dining options. The grounds are meticulously kept and absolutely stunning. It rained for our entire stay so we didn’t get the chance to use the pool area, but it is beautiful. Merci beaucoup Laurence et Frédéric! We hope to return soon!

We were able to get the room with the wood fired hot tub. Just an few hours notice and in we went. The room was large, clean and laid our well. Laurence and Frederic were charming hosts, serving a very nice breakfast and always willing to help. Town is walkable, and parking is interesting. Then lower lot is the easiest. Hope to visit again.

A superb property in wonderful surroundings. The facilities were excellent. Huge fluffy towels, slippers and dressing gowns , a delightful swimming pool, with plenty of shade; a tasty breakfast with homemade jams, we found it difficult to tear ourselves away to explore the area! Frederick and Laurence could not have been more friendly and helpful and we would recommend a stay and hope to return.

What a wonderful place to stay! We splurged on the room with the hot tub -- so worth it! The view from the small terrace was spectacular and the room had everything we needed (and some things we didn't know we needed -- like USB port plugs!). Frederick and Laurence were very welcoming and had great dinner suggestions. The breakfasts were amazing -- breads, homemade cake and jams, fruit, yogurt, excellent coffee, etc. Like many worthwhile things, it's hard to reach though. We did not attempt to drive up the driveway, and parked in the space below. The climb is a bit steep but good for working off those vacation desserts. We will return.

We stayed for two nights and had two rooms for our family. Both of the rooms were very well equipped and suited our needs very well. The property and the grounds are very nice and beautiful with good view of the valley. We also enjoyed a relaxing evening in the hot tube. The hosts, Laurence and Frédéric, were very attentive and provided us with a nice breakfast. The pictures depict exactly what you will find on site. We highly recommend staying here if you can.

Our stay at this delightful B&B was one of the highlights of our 3-week trip to France. The hosts, Frédéric and Laurence, are charming and did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable, including recommending restaurants for dinner, and even made a reservation for us so that we'd be set for the evening we arrived. The house, a century-old farmhouse which has been completely modernized, is situated with a picturesque view over the Dordogne valley. Breakfasts were delicious (3 kinds of homemade jam!) The one caveat (which is also noted on their website) is that the driveway up to the parking area by their front gate is a bit tricky and tight. Most of the time, we opted for the simpler solution of parking at the foot of the driveway and walking up. The morning we departed, Frédéric insisted on driving us down the driveway so we wouldn't have to wheel the luggage.

Charming B&B in the hills overlooking Dordogne Valley. Less than a mile walk into town for tourist activities or restaurants. The hosts were charming and bent over backwards to make us feel welcome.

All I can say is, WOW! This is a spectacular property, if somewhat remote - perched on hilltop. Laurence was a perfect host and patient with requests - including dinner reservations. The room, public areas, and grounds - are beautiful and look like they came out of Architectural Digest. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful bed & breakfast! You can walk down to have dinner on the Dordogne river through the beautiful village in less than 10 minutes. The hosts are lovely & very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms tastefully decorated with attention to detail (phone chargers provided, nice toiletries, pool towels, tea station, etc...) Stunning views and a great pool area to cool down & relax at. We look forward to returning! :) Thank you Laurence & Frédéric!

We loved our stay with Laurence and Frederic. They are magnificent hosts and their house is very beautiful and welcoming. The most delicious breakfast every morning and the gorgeous pool to come home to! An oasis!

We loved staying at Les Hauts De Gageac, it was our favourite place in the Dordogne. From the time we arrived to the time we departed Laurence and Frédéric were outstanding and generous hosts. The accommodation and food were second to none, and the pool was lovely. We plan to return…next time for longer than just a couple of nights!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Up on the hillside, within easy walking distance of la Roque Gageac, it was a peaceful, luxurious escape from the tourist hustle of the towns and villages of the Dordogne. Our room was perfect with its own terrace and the very attentive service from Laurence and Frederic could not have been more welcoming - they were even prepared to allow us to attempt to use our very bad French on them despite the fact their English was much better! They served us a delicious platter of very good quality local produce the night we arrived and have an excellent wine list. I could not recommend more highly.
