I struggle to recognise this as a 5 star establishment. Pleasant enough and in a good location, with friendly staff ready to assist. Sadly the systems and facilities let down the hotel. We stayed 4 nights. The hotel restaurant was fully booked on the first night (we were not warned are advised to book in advance despite contacting the hotel prior to arrival) and it was closed on our second and third nights. We were disinclined to book on our last night. The hotel allows dogs. Fine providing owners do not leave them in the room whilst at breakfast, allowing them to bark constantly and waken neighbours. Breakfast was average and let down by slow replacement of items. The moderately warm but congealed bacon and scrambled egg were not attractive. On the other hand, the kitchen produced two excellent omelettes. Leisure facilities were not used. The steam room and sauna were available but shower facilities were out of action during our stay. Who wants to sit around the leisure area in a sweaty state? The pool was poor and afforded nil privacy. A good, if rather expensive cocktail bar, staffed by a man who knows what he is doing. A good, but again, expensive car parking service. There are no sensible options in this part of town.

Sono rimasto all'Hotel Central Park nel giugno 2021. Ero con mio marito e 5yo. Il manager dell'hotel è stato estremamente utile e si è assicurata che lei fosse disponibile per chat durante il colazione ecc. La nostra camera era molto buona. Era in gamba con una sezione di alcove separata dalla camera principale. Permetteva a nostro figlio di dormire mentre eravamo ancora in piedi. Vorrei che tutte le camere dell'hotel avessero questa disposizione! La posizione dell'hotel ci ha funzionato bene. A piedi dal parco, possiamo facilmente portare nostro figlio a piedi per il zoo della città. Ci sono voluti circa 10 minuti per essere in un'azione di spessore al vecchio porto. Abbiamo scelto la colazione e, come coeliaco, mi sono sorpreso piacevolmente dalle opzioni gratuite di glutine disponibili: le cose erano state messe in giù con lenzuola e la lingua, e ci sono stati separati cestini per pane e torte. Questa è la prima volta che l'ho visto in Francia. Infine, mio marito e io abbiamo avuto massaggi nel Spa e abbiamo avuto i nostri trattamenti con Raphael. Era eccellente.

L'hotel è a 10~15 minuti a piedi dal centro/ dal molo. C'è un supermercato Carrefour City nelle vicinanze dove puoi facilmente prendere dell'acqua o degli spuntini sulla via del ritorno la sera. L'hotel sembra un po' datato ma la camera è abbastanza pulita. Le donne dovrebbero notare che nel bagno è fornito solo uno shampoo / gel doccia 2 in 1, quindi porta il tuo shampoo e balsamo per capelli. L'addetto alla reception è allegro e molto disponibile quando ho chiesto informazioni. L'unico problema che ho notato è che sembra che ci sia un club nelle vicinanze e potrei sentire la musica vagamente anche dopo mezzanotte. Tuttavia, direi che il soggiorno è stato nel complesso un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Il bagno ha completamente inondato ogni volta che era stato usato, le porte di vetro non avevano sigilli, mio marito aveva appena avuto un cappuccio nuovo e scorreva male in un'occasione, ho passato molto tempo a moquetare il pavimento con asciugamani e tessuti, mio fratello in legge e il suo la moglie aveva le stesse questioni nella stanza, al contrario. Il pranzo era deludente, la macchina di yogurt congelata, annunciata, era asciutta e ancora vuota il giorno dopo, nessun frutto la mattina dopo e una delle macchine di caffè che non lavoravano in entrambi i giorni, significava le coda per bere. Il personale era amichevole, ma l’aria condizionata in entrambe le nostre camere non funzionava così calde notti disturbate anche con le finestre aperte, non rimarrebbero aperte senza qualcosa per fermarle. Un po' di vergogna davvero perché tutto poteva essere fissato, ma la posizione era perfetta per un passeggiato rilassante a La Rochelle

La Marine è in posizione ideale al capo del Vieux Port, quindi tutte le attrazioni principali sono in una gamma facile da camminare. Le camere più costose hanno splendide vite sul porto. La nostra camera era pulita e confortevole con un divano, tre sedie e una tavola. Il caffè e il tè sono stati forniti. Non c'è nessun ristorante o camera da pranzo, quindi il colazione viene portato nella stanza di uno su una tazza: caffè/tea, succo d'arancia, yogurt e una selezione di pasticceria. Il principale negativo dell'hotel è che non c'è ascensore. La ricezione è su due scale di strada e la nostra camera 16 (nessuna vista, ma più conveniente) è su due altre scale. Anche con giusto e bagaglio abbiamo lottato e non sarebbe stato possibile con bagagli di volo di 23 kg. In generale, una grande posizione, ma anche relativamente costosa, anche se questa era La Rochelle all'altezza della stagione turistica.

We have just stayed here for two nights in a family room for 3. The room was very small, dark, tired and extremely dirty with a thick layer of black dust coating all the skirting boards and worst of the headboard!! We noticed the entrance and stairway were very dusty too, so obviously cleaning is not a priority at this hotel! This was confirmed when we were told that housekeeping would not be cleaning our room during our two night stay due to covid. Having stayed in various hotels in the Uk & Portugal during covid, who still provided housekeeping, we found this very odd. Due to covid I do carry antibacterial hand wipes so I cleaned the thick layer of dust, as we did not want to breath it in, especially as the headboard was totally covered in black dust! It was clear to see that the room has not been cleaned thoroughly for quite sometime, which was not pleasant and very disappointing. I did check to see if we could change hotels but, being peak season there were no vacancies elsewhere. We did mention the black dust upon checking out. The response we received was absolutely shocking! The woman at the desk refused to let me speak, continuously interrupting me! She refused to believe us and kept repeating that the rooms are cleaned regularly! I showed her a photo of the black dirt I had removed with my wipes and she blamed the air conditioning unit, which we didn’t even use! After seeing my photo of the wipes she accused us of being ‘cleaning *******’!! Such a rude and unpleasant, not to mention unprofessional woman!! Zero customer service & care!! During our stay we were unable to use the television in fear of being electrocuted as the plug and wires were precariously hanging off the wall!! We did bring this to her attention but she refused to even listen and swiftly took payment for our stay and ushered us away. Avoid this dark dingy, dirty, hotel!! La Rochelle has many hotels and for €115 per night, you are sure to find much better accommodation elsewhere!!

Arrivammo nel buio, nel vento e nella pioggia. Tuttavia, la signora della ricezione e del valletto è venuta fuori per salutarci, che apprezzavamo. Molto buon parcheggio auto. L'hotel è un bellissimo edificio su una strada con belle negozi e caffè. Il bar e la sala lounge sono molto ben decorati con mobili comodi e c'è stato un incendio, creando un'atmosfera bella. Sono stata molto impressionata da La Rochelle e mi piacerebbe visitare l'estate. Molto amichevole e utile personale. Non abbiamo mangiato nel ristorante, ma sembrava buono. Grazie.

J'ai une nouvelle fois passé au sein de la résidence centre Pierre et vacances de La Rochelle un séjour formidable. De la réservation du séjour par échange de mail avec les réceptionnistes très professionnelles, Sylvie et Pauline que je remercie encore une fois et que j’ai déjà hâte de retrouver l’an prochain, à l'accueil lors de mon arrivée et la preparation de mon logement par Monsieur Hasni, l’hôte de propreté qui a fait preuve d’une efficacité impressionnante et d’un soucis du détail, pour que je puisse en prendre possession le plus rapidement possible, jusqu'au dernier jour de mon séjour, l'ensemble des employés de cet établissement, et même Monsieur Francois, bravo pour votre réactivité, ont toujours été à mon écoute et ont répondu parfaitement à mes attentes, mes sollicitations et mes remarques. Pour avoir côtoyé il y a bien longtemps d'autres établissements hôteliers de la rochelle avant de poser mes valises au sein de la résidence centre, je peux recommander fortement cet établissement pour un cour séjour ou plusieurs semaines comme ce fut mon cas encore cette année. L’encadrement de réception peut être fier des compétences de leurs équipes et notamment leur professionnalisme. Je fréquente cet établissement maintenant depuis quelques années pour le lieu, l’emplacement, sa localisation dans la ville, c’est vrai, mai aussi pour les qualités humaines, l’empathie, le professionnalisme des employés. Idéalement situé à 5 minutes de la gare et à 3 minutes du vieux port, cet établissement coche toutes les cases : propreté, disponibilité, services et bien d’autres.

The hotel is in the perfect location to many bars and restaurants plus right on top of the port. We were there when La Rochelle won the rugby cup which enhanced the atmosphere. We booked a table on our first night at Le 4 Sergents and had a ball. It was a great night with great food live music and ended with a dj. We used the bar on the second evening but found there was very little for them to serve us with. When we mentioned this we were answered by one of the staff with “this isn’t a bar!”. We mentioned that it was raining outside so would like to be able to have a drink at the hotel and she replied “we’ll get a coat on”. Really rude and not hospitable at all. All other staff seemed fine and pleasant. The room was ok but thought that the bathroom could do with a refurb.
