Magic Natura Resort

siamo tornati da poco da Magic Natura e già non vediamo l'ora di prenotare per il prossimo anno! Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati non ci ha deluso. Il posto sembra bellissimo, avevamo un lodge con vista sul mare che era a circa 30 secondi a piedi dalle piscine:) posizione quindi perfetta per noi. Camere: sempre pulito, abbastanza spazio per quello di cui avevamo bisogno, avevamo un lodge con 2 camere da letto, quindi letti a castello in una stanza (l'unico inconveniente era che non c'era l'aria condizionata in camera) ma nella camera da letto principale / area salotto l'aria condizionata funzionava perfettamente! Ogni giorno i letti venivano fatti e ovunque venivano puliti sembrava di nuovo nuovo di zecca! Piscine: il team della piscina è lì ogni mattina presto per pulire tutte le aree della piscina, le piscine sono aperte alle 10:00 tutti i giorni, abbiamo sempre lettini per il giorno, il team di animazione è lì ogni giorno a fare giochi intorno alla piscina che i miei bambini adoravano! E l'aerobica in acqua che ha coinvolto tutti, in uno dei giorni hanno organizzato una festa di schiuma nella piccola piscina e tutti i bambini si sono divertiti così tanto anche gli adulti. Le piscine a sfioro con vista sugli elefanti e sui cervi erano così speciali che il mio bambino di 16 mesi adorava guardarle mentre era in piscina, anche se era affollato nel resort, le piscine non erano mai piene. Cibo: c'era sempre molta scelta ogni giorno per tutti, il che era fantastico perché ero preoccupato di avere 4 bambini a cui piacciono cibi diversi, ma avevano sempre la pancia piena ogni giorno. Intrattenimento: la mini discoteca per bambini è iniziata alle 20:30, il momento perfetto dato che la cena serale è iniziata alle 19:30, quindi abbiamo mangiato e siamo andati subito lì dopo, abbiamo sempre avuto un tavolo per guardare gli spettacoli, il che è stato fantastico . Gli spettacoli erano ok e abbastanza buoni per i bambini che erano tutti fissati su di loro. Avevano anche piccole macchine giocattolo in loco che i miei bambini adoravano € 1 ciascuno ed erano felici! Parco acquatico: Il parco acquatico è a circa 8 minuti a piedi dalla reception oppure puoi prendere l'autobus dall'interno del parco che è gratuito. Siamo andati all inclusive plus, quindi l'ingresso all'Aquapark era gratuito per noi, il posto è enorme! Tante piscine / scivoli per tutti e un sacco di lettini. Abbiamo prenotato le mie ragazze per andare alla scuola delle sirene che adoravano! L'unica cosa che dirò è che l'acqua in cui entrano per fare una nuotata con le code di sirena è molto profonda 1,5 metri, quindi non eccezionale per i non nuotatori, tuttavia mia figlia che non sa nuotare aveva le bracciali e hanno fornito un noodle galleggiare e anche tenere la mano dei miei piccoli in modo che potessero unirsi. Hanno uno snack bar al piano di sopra che potremmo usare gratuitamente con i nostri braccialetti, quindi abbiamo pranzato lassù hanno fatto patatine per hamburger, hotdog, fish and chips drink ecc. La nostra generale l'esperienza è stata eccellente, abbiamo volato con jet2 e torneremo sicuramente a volare con loro Non posso raccomandare abbastanza questo posto! È perfetto per i bambini! Abbiamo anche lasciato una piccola bottiglia di spumante nella nostra camera per dire grazie. Grazie Magic Natura x

We’ve just got back from a fantastic family holiday at the Magic Natura. If you’ve got primary aged kids this resort is absolutely perfect - all you can eat and drink, multiple pools, plus a zoo and water park attached and included! The food was good and there was something for everyone each mealtime. We all enjoyed it, and although cooked breakfasts on the continent aren’t what they are at home, there was still lots of stuff to choose from. Dinner was always the best meal, and if you visit the waterpark lunch is included there too. The waterpark is amazing, the kids had the best time and went on all the slides. Our littlest was slightly too small as lots of the bigger ones have height restrictions of 1.2m, so be aware of that, although there are multiple themed pools and some smaller (but still fun!) slides for littler ones to enjoy. The all inclusive food and drink extends to the waterpark so that was all taken care of, and we spent several days here as there’s so much to do. To get to the waterpark you can walk through the zoo, and I’m usually worried about this abroad as not all zoos have the animals best interests at heart. The welfare standards here were pretty good on the whole though, and I was pleasantly surprised. The bird of prey show is great, and on twice a day, so be sure to catch that when you visit. Our room was lovely, and kept super clean by the attendants each day, and the kids loved the bunk beds in their own little room. We didn’t realise that one of the kids beds was actually the sofa but that was an oversight on our part and our son said it was very comfy anyway. As other people have mentioned the walls are quite thin, think caravan walls, but the lodges do look lovely. We stayed in the Bali lodges right near the entrance, which was the perfect location for accessing everything and wasn’t too hilly. The pools in the hotel are a little colder than those in the water park, but it’s a summer holiday and once you get in you soon adjust! They all have bars nearby too so you can always grab drinks and snacks, everything is super easy which is very welcome with a family in tow. The evening entertainment can get a bit samey, although the kids loved the kids disco every night. We didn’t have to wait ages in the queues for the bar and the drinks are good, they’ll add as big a measure as you like! We used the free bus to visit Benidorm during our stay too, and the beaches were heaving. It’s worth visiting but the resort it nicer so after that we stayed there. I would 100% recommend the Magic Natura to anyone with kids, we had the best time and will definitely be back! Ignore the bad reviews, we’re usually quite picky and I once cried at how bad a hotel we visited was.. but the Magic Natura is fabulous!

We have just sent 10 days at Magic Natura and had an amazing time. The Zoo it great with plenty of experiences. We did the elephant experience and got to back into there enclosure, this was brilliant as they are my favourite animals. The Zoo also had an amazing reptile house, and bird show. The water park was brilliant. It's open to the public as well, as its not quite on site but we didn't find it got to crowded and very clean tho water very cold. Your all inclusive drinks and snacks still available from there. The cabins are really nice and clean we had 2 bedroom 2 shower rooms. Walls were thin tho you could hear other ppl. Food was good, what you expect of any all inclusive and didn't find it got to repetitive even after 10 days. Drinks a plenty and not shy on measures. Few small pools at the resort were also cold. The evening entertainment (which is outside) was ok, this did get repetitive as it's a weeks project as we were they for 10 days it did repeat. It's also the same resident act doing slightly different show each night. But the one thing that made our holiday was the animation crew, Danny and his team really did make our holiday special with full in interaction. But for those less willing to get involved they also respected that. Amazing memories. Would 100% recommend

So we first visited in Oct 2019 and were absolutely blown away with the quality and on this we were excited to return unfortunately it will be our last time - Arrival was fine yes we had to wait until 5pm for our room but we knew this before hand and were prepared. The room unfortunately looked very tired and shabby - holes plastered over in the shower door fixtures wouldn’t lock and if they did they jammed one of the shower hoses wouldn’t stay in place the decking at the front was all loose and even - not huge issues for us so didn’t report to maintenance but based on what you pay we kind of expected better but didn’t affect the holiday. Ants and flies were horrendous we reported the ants numerous times in the hope some treatment would be put down? But no they kept coming every night but expected in Spain being dry and hot it’s like holding back the tide! I appreciate being next to a zoo you would expect some flies but wow they were relentless and really affected us towards the end of the holiday it was so annoying I have been to zoos all over and never experienced anything like this my children were even getting mugged towards the end. The entertainment is done by an in house team like Butlin’s/haven generally not to bad but on very late really, this has been mentioned numerous times on other reviews so don’t see this changing ever. I would say the resort is like a Spanish Butlin’s which if you are a fan of that you will love it if not maybe give it a miss. The use of the waterpark is a brilliant add on food is awful if using the AI option but brilliant day out. Zoo also very good enclosures very small as said many times before. Food in the buffet very good always found something to eat Drinks lovely Our first night we had issues with next door kids banging the doors screaming and shouting running in and out at 1am this was sorted by reception- Tripadvisor don’t like using the g word so let’s say they were of a travelling community if you catch my drift and there were LOTS of them! Shoving their hand in the food instead of using the utensils and generally just causing issues. Also the amount of parents ignoring the plea’s of the entertainment to keep their kids off the stage and then just taking no notice! The option to pay for PREMIUM service is disgusting when only a few years ago it was ONE AI option for ALL guests not 3! It creates an atmosphere as soon as you arrive as you feel like a second class citizen especially after already paying a fortune for the holiday already why should we be treated any less. It has put me off trying any of the magic resorts again as I know what it was like a few years ago and I only expected improvement when unfortunately this wasn’t the case - they are spending money on building an additional part to the resort in the water park when really this should be going to the up keep of the place. We travelled for a week in May with our nearly 2 year old.. we had some mixed thoughts. Firstly I'll cover the great things we found about this resort: The food: we actually really enjoyed most of our meals here and we were just on the "entry level" all inclusive (more about that later). There was lots of selection, never an issue getting a table, ice cream fridge and whippy machine a great touch, plus all the self service drinks. There was always a pancake and omelette station at breakfast, for lunch and dinner a great salad choice, and then the usual chips burgers etc plus a separate kids buffet station. The lamb was the nicest my husband has had in a long time so that was a good compliment. The cleanliness: definitely the cleanest and tidiest resort by a mile that we've been too, always loads of staff around cleaning so that's great to see. The return cup voucher system seems to get a lot of slack but I think it's a great idea as reduces the amount of litter round the pools. ZooWaterpark included: This is the best part about the resort, we made full use and we were round the zoo three mornings whilst waiting on the freezing swimming pools heating up. Our daughter loved it and the playpark inside the zoo was fab for her. Most of the enclosures are large but the Tigers, Lions and particularly the jaguars enclosures were far too small. They seem to be building a Pirate Land on a massive space, and if only they'd reconsider and relocate these large cats here instead of building more attractions... It was very sad to see. Now onto the things that would mean we would not return.. nor actually recommend the place to our friends... The HILL: we were in java area I believe it's called which is up a massive steep hill. Doing this four-five times a day really took its toll especially with a buggy. Anyone who is the least bit unfit or has mobility issues would not have managed. There is a shuttle that you can get but it was never there when we needed it, we used it perhaps three times the whole week. The timings: having a two year old who gets up at the crack of dawn and goes to bed fairly early, everything was just far too late for a kids resort. Breakfast wasn't till 8, lunch not till 1, kids mini disco not till 8.15! Then the pool is locked till 10am, and the kids club and bars were 11am (if I remember correctly). Just everything is around an hour too late for us and I imagine anyone else with a kid under 4. The staff: we encountered three members of staff that were friendly (one of our housekeepers and the lovely two girls on the concierge at restaurant) The rest were all grumpy as anything. Check in was abysmal the woman was on a phone the entire time and gave us no information whatsoever. It just didn't seem like anyone wanted to be at their work. Accommodation: we stayed in a superior Polynesian two bed lodge. There was no aircon in our daughters room so it was like a sauna. The walls are paperthin so you can hear everything next door. T

What a disaster. Any rooms at the back of hotel are literally on the side of a dual carriageway .R.n 4004. moved by hotel to a different room. Room had a sewer leak. Room 4311. Ended up being moved to another hotel. The holiday was an experience of packing/unpacking. With 3 young kids. The whole 3 days we were there.

Well what an experience this has been… I am currently writing this from our filthy lodge with two days left of our family holiday. Day one… we arrived and had to wait in the heat for 5 hours for our room to be ready. Once the room was ready, after an 17hour day with a 4 year old we was pleased to get unpacked. Sadly the room was filthy, hairs on the bed the floor was sticky, the toilet had urine on it, the shower wasn’t clean, the towels were stained and the list went on. We complained and were taken to our second room… this is now clocking up to a 19hour day. The second room was worse, the child’s bed was urine stained and wet! The room and drains stink. We instantly rang TUI to get us the next flight home, although they couldn’t offer us one. We would have to of paid for our own flights home. The only flights we can get aren’t to gatwick. So we complained again to the hotel, this time they wanted us to sign a contract to say if we move rooms again we aren’t allowed to take the issues up with the hotel/TUI or our travel insurance. So we are stuck as we aren’t willing to sign a form and move to another room that could be worse. This hotel has nothing to offer to children, the park is tiny, located in the sun and the slide is facing the road, so if they miss judge and trip they are in the road.(which the hotel buggy’s drive fast along) the pools are freezing, nothing opens until 10am and dinner isn’t until 6.30pm and the food choice is basic. We aren’t fussy eaters. We have left the hotel every day and eaten out and found things to do. The zoo is good, but it’s not an everyday thing, the same as the water park. It’s cheaper to stay at a better hotel and pay for the attractions. The staff aren’t friendly in fact most are very rude. This hotel is seriously over priced. And doesn’t offer what it’s advertising. Also the bedrooms don’t have air con, so the bunk bed room is like sweat box. Bedding isn’t changed, and the rooms aren’t cleaned just stayed with an air freshener. Please don’t waste your money,

Just arrived back yesterday from our first family holiday with our 2.5 year old girl. We booked ultra all inclusive and its been the best all inclusive holiday I've ever been on - to having branded drinks and almost everything included. We had the most amazing time and told ourselves to go with an open mind as we were worried with alot of the negative reviews. We stayed up the back, a think it was room 4004. Was hilly and a fair walk but wasn't a problem for us. It is alot of walking if your planning on walking around everywhere rather than booking the buggy to your lodge. Our little girl had a ball! She did struggle with the pool being so cold but after she got in she was fine. We loved you could change your day.. zoo.. waterpark, benidorm- rather than be poolside all day. The snacks around the pool were an absolute hit as our girl had lost her appetite with the heat, she lived on the crisps and chocolate ice cream whilst we were there. The ice cream van was perfect. The lodge was lovely. Can't fault anything. Zoo - amazing. Waterpark - really good but again water was just really cold for my girl. We did the swim with the sealions, highly recommend it, obviously my girl was to wee to swim with Charlie the sealion but she just loved every minute of being up close to him. Only small personal negatives I found for us would be; Evening entertainment started to late for us. The buffet restaurant was far to busy in mornings and evenings. Even my little girl struggled with this. You couldn't move alot of the times. One morning we struggled to find a free ready made table in both of the rooms you could use. I understand these are just peak times though but it did make us feel uncomfortable with how busy it got. Not enough sun loungers round the pools for the size of the place. The queuing at the poolside bar or evening bar for a drink was usually crazy. One night, it took my husband a good 20-30mins before he got served at the evening bar I know you can upgrade to premium to skip queues but i personally don't agree with this. We already upgraded to ultra all inclusive & spending alot of money to even be there, you shouldn't have to upgrade again. We absolutely loved the zoo but i was so Disapppinted and saddened to see how small the Jaquars enclosure was. These are big cats, not enough space for them to roam around and you could see how distress they were. We personally didn't enjoy the meat restaurant that you got included with the ultra all inclusive. We struggled to eat the meat as to how it was cooked but it was a lovely restaurant to be in and alot calmer than the buffet which was really nice. All in all it was a fabulous holiday and just the small things you expect when a resort is so busy. ***Only thing ... I HIGHLY ADVISE you double checking this** Couple of days before checking out, we booked a buggy to pick us up at our lodge to take us down with our suitcases to reception for our taxi & to check out.
