My wife and I stayed at the courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Lagrange, Georgia on August 12th, 2023. The hotel faces a square with a pretty fountain. Unfortunately when we arrived, the air conditioning in the lobby was not working. I stood at the front desk for 3 or 4 minutes with no response. I then walked back into the office to find a young man sitting at the computer. He came out to register me. He was helpful once he was on task. I ate a sandwich and a beer at the bar. The sandwich was fine, and the service was good, likely because I was the only customer and it was hot downstairs. Additional problems included the fact that the television didn't work. The guide was active but it was not possible to actually see any of the programs listed. Also, the toilet ran all night and would not flush the next morning, And the toilet seat was broken, sliding from side to side. Given that the room cost $161 plus all the taxes ($234.74) we definitely did not get decent value for our money. As far as I'm concerned, the hotel should compensate us some amount. Also, this is one of the few hotels that does not serve breakfast, the cost being included in the room. You can buy breakfast sandwich for more than $10, but we ate at a fast food restaurant the next morning instead.

* Visited the area to attend my mother's funeral, and the AAA discount made pricing reasonable. * Check-in receptionist was only moderately competent, and not particularly welcoming. Our check-in was actually interrupted by another guest returning to the desk to complain that they had been checked into a room that was already occupied! * However, the service staff for room housekeeping, breakfast prep, and common area cleaning were outstanding! * Buffet breakfast was very satisfying and filling. * Room was clean with very efficient temperature controls. * Room small appliances and mini fridge were wonderfully convenient features. * Room furnishings were aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. * Room main door and closest door were not level, and therefore difficult to close. * Only the power & number buttons worked on the TV remote. Navigational arrows to move through the Guide did NOT work. This was very cumbersome and frustrating. * Had to run water in room sink and/or shower for 8 - 10 minutes each time before hot water was available. This was extremely annoying.

Easy Booking & Check-in. More updated than all'alth of the others I've stayed at! The room was spacious and had a small kitchenette for your food. There was a nice Garden Tub in the bathroom with a rubber duce 🦆to accompany you with your bath. 😊 Il colazione era in realtà un ”HOT” colazione e mi era molto buono. Include Sausage Patties, Ovo, Waffles, Fresh Fruit & altro! Un lato inferiore di questo hotel era il parcheggio. Ci sono stati solo pochi posti di parcheggio in avanti, quindi devi parcheggiare indietro. La sicurezza era una preoccupazione. E non c'era ghiaccio nelle macchine di ghiaccio al momento, ma puoi chiedere al desktop di fronte per alcuni. Oltre a questo, era un buon e comodo soggiorno.

Great room, nice and big. Bathroom is a bit small, but clean. They have a heated indoor pool.
