Meltemi Hotel Kythnos

We have spent 5 days, very recently (august -september 2012)in this hotel and quite frankly, it is to be avoid at any price. The price is too expensive and the service very very poor in most aspects.... no friendly, and even the lady, who is running the hotel (family businnes, husband and wife) is really unpleasent, looking depressed and not smilling, a minima efford to please the clients... . The breakfast is the minima possible and the quality and the choix really bad. the bedroom and furniture are old, cleaning is only where visible, and the kitchen had one broken glass, and 2 old plates, the cutlery the same.... Recommend to choose an alternative at any price!

I loved the renovated bathroom. The fridge was quiet and functioned well. The furniture was very cozy. Ok, I could comment on the locks that are old, however, there is no reason to feel unsafe in this hotel. Nikos in the reception was very friendly and eager to help us every time. We did not book breakfast. The parking was easy to find, either outside the hotel or in a designated parking area 50 meters down the road. The location is recommended as it is in the entrance of the village and close to the Chora and port.

True gem! Super clean, recently renovated, comfortable with all amenities. Spacious balcony. Beautiful open courtyard with flowers. Owners are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Next to a bakery and very close to parking. Great location.

Friendly staff, good guestroom, clean & unique.Have a good stay in the hotel as the staff service is attentive and responsive.The room cleanliness is worth mentioning. Comfortable bed I thank management and staffs for their attentive, friendly and outstanding service.

Nice cosy room. Newly refurbished room, bathroom was cleaned and bed was comfortable. Nice lobby with some sort grand old fashioned decor staffs were very friendly and service were excellent. Definitely will come back to stay here as my hotel of choice when I'm at Loutra Kythnos

Friendly and personal service The staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.
