We stayed at this hotel for one night during our holiday to Japan, regrettably, we couldn't extend due to the nature/locations of our trip - if possible we would have stayed longer. Check-In and features: Check-In was a stress-free experience, we arrived at the hotel later in the night after stopping in Kyoto to view some of the amazing gardens on display, on arrival the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had; they explained the nature of the hotel and its perks such as a top floor view of the To-ji Gojunoto Five Storey Pagoda across the street (we recommend seeing this at night for a great sight), a koi pond next to the entrance outside, and a garden in the middle of the lobby area as well as much more features that made this place different from anywhere else we've ever stopped! The staff also spoke great English which made us feel comfortable as our Japanese if still in learning. The Room: I was really impressed with everything the room had to offer - first of all you are given an actual key to enter the room which makes a nice change from most other places offering a keycard. On entering the room; everything was neat and in order, we were given: A comfy bed kitchen area with cooking utensils (on use were great) Table and two chairs to eat meals at Personal washing/drying machine A relaxing bathroom Service room with free amenities such as toothbrushes and a hairbrush A TV with language-specific channels (made us feel more at home) Sliding window blinds (in a traditional Japanese style) Many more features! This hotel brought my dream of stopping at a traditional-style Japanese accommodation to life in every way. Another thing I would like to mention is the breakfast; you are able to choose what time you would like breakfast and are offered a set menu from which to select. I tried the beef breakfast and was very satisfied with the meal. I was more so impressed with the hotel staff who brought it to us, on noticing I was English, the staff member provided me with a sheet of English literature regarding the local gardens with help and recommendations for us, on top of this the member of staff was incredibly respectful and took the time to speak to me about our holiday and events happening back in the UK. (I didn't get the name of this staff member but I can't begin to describe the positive impact he made on our stay) Location: We were more than happy with the location of this stay, all-purpose shops nearby as well as entertainment shops made sure we had anything we wanted/needed - we also took in a lot of culture in and around the hotel which made our stay more authentic. I could not think of anything that this place could improve on - and when we eventually return given the chance, we hope to find Sunrise Suites the same! Thank you for making our journey in Kyoto one of the best experiences we will ever have.

I was amazed by the complimentary snacks (e.g. chocolate, pineapple, smoked cheese sweets), coffee (DIY from grinding beans to pouring the hot water over the powder ground from the beans), alcohol (red and white wines, asahi beer, sour beer, highball) and juices/tea available at levels 2 and 3 of the building! Water is available at every floor from the water dispenser (same goes for ice). It seems to be a family-friendly hotel as I observed so, with amenities such as table tennis table, play/games areas, and reading area at the same levels 2 and 3 of the building; there were many happy kids around too. The park view was great, though I did not use the balcony. Rooftop terrace had great views of kyoto, giving a glimpse of the kyoto tower and one of the pagoda temples. Thankfully the laundromat is on the same level 5 as my room so I can quickly use it and collect clothes when done. Nonetheless the TVs in the room could show the status of the three machines. There was unfortunately one incidence where one person did not clear his/her clothes in time and there was a queue starting. Level 1 is the bath house, which is complimentary for hotel guests but chargeable for public; not crowded for men. The service staff were friendly from check in to check out of the hotel. The bus stops and train station are walkable from the hotel. There are convenience stores nearby too. I think the only downsides are that the glasses in the room are a tad small so one cannot fill much water, and the toothpaste is too little, which I finished in two brushes (morning and night). Maybe the hotel can consider expanding the capacities for both the glasses and toothpastes?

Rinn Umekoji si trova a 15 minuti dalla stazione JR ma lontano dai luoghi emblematici della città. Anche se la casa è bella e dispone di cucina, lavastoviglie, asciugacapelli, TV, ciò che ha fatto il soggiorno molto comodo, devo dire che si poteva sentire abbastanza il treno che passa proprio accanto (ma questo non ha impedito che dormeremo di meraviglioso). Mi sembrava che la sua situazione non fosse la migliore per godersi Kyoto.

楓葉季來到闊別8年的京都，一切還是那麼熟悉。老闆娘很nice，入住前提供了路書，還介紹了周邊的餐館和超市，讓出行和遊玩便利了很多。 民宿小而精美，在東寺旁的居民區內，安靜乾淨。房間不大，入住個成年人差不多，但天天早起晚歸🤣，回來基本都是22點+，因此覺得房間覺得也算夠用。另外感謝老闆娘良心，楓葉季價格也實屬良心，讓行程的費用壓力小了很多，有了更多購物的動力。 行方面，民宿臨近近鐵東寺站，到京都站也不算遠，去奈良或大阪都很方便。但如果拖行李的話，還是建議從京都站打出租車比較方便。 遊方麪，提前預約了西芳寺（苔寺）和嵐山光之幻想小火車，楓葉名所禪林寺的永觀堂，南禪寺，清水寺。🍁時間正好，黃色，紅色，綠色，層層疊疊，如詩如畫。

La stazione di Kyoto non è molto lontana, portando i bambini a piedi per meno di dieci minuti.Una casa di famiglia determinata, due letti singoli, due mazzi, una stanza molto grande, i bambini amano dormire in mazzi.Le strutture sono complete, tutto è completo, fornisce un bevande, ghiaccio, un microonde, una lavatrice di moneta. Dieci minuti a piedi per il Parco di Mai Xiaogang, può andare al Museo d'acqua di Kyoto e al Museo ferroviario di Kyoto.Ci sono anche strutture di intrattenimento per bambini nel parco.È l'attrazione e il fiume che vanno in autobus o in auto per Kyoto, e 1700 yen per la casa dell'isola di Gao.
