Hotel in zona Matubaya, Kyoto

It was the first time for us to stay in this hotel, first impression at the lobby is a WOW! From the incense scent to the Japanese traditional motif deco, one can immediately feel the sense of calmness and peace. The room is typically small as in Japan standard, but the facilities are good enough for a short trip. Location is their key strength, walkable distance to most of the must-go tourist sights. However, staffs at reception desk are with various service attitude, some are friendly and helpful, some are cold and not professional as I expect minimal English conversation is a basic requirement at a branded hotel chain; at least a 'welcome to our hotel' etc greeting should be presented during customer's arriving or leaving. Sorry to say, the front desk team had given me an untrained, part-timer impression.

Whether it was the majestic Kinkaku-ji Temple or the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, everything was within reach, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the city's rich heritage. The hotel's architecture and interior design were a true reflection of Kyoto's aesthetic beauty. The moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility and harmony. The attention to detail was impeccable, with traditional Japanese elements seamlessly integrated into the contemporary design. The serene garden views from the common areas only added to the overall charm and provided a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city. The staff members at the hotel were the epitome of hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist with any request created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Their knowledge of the local area and recommendations for sightseeing and dining were invaluable, enabling me to make the most of my time in Kyoto. The room I stayed in was a haven of luxury and elegance. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, it exuded a sense of serenity that allowed me to unwind after a day of exploration. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the comfortable bedding to the carefully curated amenities.

Ottimo albergo! La posizione è comoda, proprio accanto alla stazione di Kyoto. Molti banconi parlano cinese, giapponese e inglese, la comunicazione è semplice e il servizio è buono. La camera è grande (rispetto ai normali hotel giapponesi), le valigie possono essere sp**** , l'arredamento è moderno, le strutture sono complete e il bagno è asciutto, il bagno è separato e pulito in modo tempestivo, c'è anche una vasca termale gratuita all'ultimo piano, che è molto rilassante e allevia lo stress ~ Lo consiglio vivamente; questo hotel se viaggi a Kyoto!

La posizione è un po' lontana dal centro come la stazione di Kyoto e Shijo, ma penso che sia accettabile. Ho alloggiato in una camera in stile giapponese con una doppia superior, ma è stato molto bello poterla trascorrere a piedi nudi e il bagno e la toilette erano puliti. Non so se è accanto o sopra, ma potevo sentire il rumore di un bambino che correva tutto il tempo, e quando mi sono consultato con la reception, ha immediatamente spostato la stanza. Penso che la velocità con cui trattare quest'area sia sorprendente. Voglio stare di nuovo qui.

Il miglior hotel che abbiamo soggiornato durante il nostro viaggio di 10 giorni in Giappone. Super attento e amichevole personale, architettura incantevole, e tecnologie intuitive. E naturalmente la comoda posizione e il prezzo invincibile vanno senza dire. Se si arriva a Kyoto, è davvero necessario che rimanga, e stiamo già parlando di un altro viaggio a Kyoto e rimarremo certamente ancora lì!

The room is great and the view is awesome. Room is clean and tidy. Access to Kyoto Tower and Tourism Guide Center(inside the train station) is effortless if you compare to other valuable hotel. You may also buy bus ticket to Fuji Q-Highland in the next building. Transportation is easy if you stay there. The service is quite nice since the staffs are very helpful and so kind(full of smile). Also, they're quite good in English. You may also get the discount voucher to get into Kyoto Tower Observatorium Deck. Amenities are basic, should be added, like shaving kits, etc.

Train station is within walking distance. Amenities are all available for self-collect at the lobby. Communication with the staff was a little confusing when I wanted to check if I could make a reservation for breakfast the next morning but the staff said it would be crowded...What I saw the next morning didn't seem to be fully occupied so it's puzzling. There was an indicator board that reflected the number of guests for breakfast (see photo) and there were not many. Apart from that, it was a decent stay.

Hotel molto comodo, vicinissimo alla stazione. L'hotel dispone anche di un bus navetta da e per la stazione e l'hotel. È molto comodo. Molto buono anche il servizio di accoglienza alla reception. Dopo il check out ho trovato che il mio cellulare era rimasto in camera quando sono arrivato alla stazione. Sono tornato in albergo e ho chiesto alla reception. , subito mi hanno detto che la governante della stanza aveva avvisato la reception che il cellulare era stato prelevato e l'ho consegnato immediatamente. Sono molto grato al personale di servizio dell'hotel per il loro atteggiamento lavorativo serio e responsabile, che ha dato alle persone una sensazione sicura e calorosa di soggiornare in hotel. - Posizione di fronte alla stazione di Tokyo. Ma è il lato del ristorante. Ma non è troppo lontano per raggiungere la stazione ferroviaria. L'hotel è grande e spazioso. - Arrivo Partenza Puoi farlo da solo alla macchina. - Il servizio di deposito bagagli è disponibile contattando il personale. - La camera prenotata era composta da 2 normali letti singoli, ma è stata trasferita in una grande camera con un divano per rilassarsi. Molto buone borse grandi da 29 pollici, 2 possono essere stese comodamente, il resto è ampio sui lati. - Bagno di buone dimensioni La vasca non è minuscola. - Lo svantaggio riscontrato è che il condizionatore non può essere regolato. Quando sono andato a riposarmi, il tempo a Kyoto stava già iniziando a fare caldo. Non è possibile regolare l'aria condizionata in modo che sia fresca. Sembra essere controllato dal governo centrale. Fa così caldo che quasi non riesco a dormire. - Un'altra cosa è Con una posizione vicino alla strada A volte puoi sentire il rumore delle auto che circolano sulla strada. 所用で家族と2泊しました。立地条件から駅近のこちらを選択しましたが、部屋はビジネスホテルタイプで、決して広いわけではありません。清潔には保たれてますか設備の老朽化は否めずに部屋に入り色々目につく箇所がありました。2連泊ですが1泊ずつ予約したためかカードキーが翌日11時に効かなくなりエラー。フロントで話2枚対応してもらうも、また一枚がエラー再びフロントに行くも謝りなく淡々と手続き。チェックイン時からフロントの方にサービス精神は一切感じられず、事務的。こちらのホテルはそう言うのとは無縁のようです。 部屋の清掃も普段1泊の方が多いからか廊下全面を使い各部屋の使用済みリネンをおばちゃんが広げ、廊下も歩きづらいです。エレベーターも1100-1300あたりはリネン運搬のカートにエレベーターを占拠されなかなかきません。寝るだけならいいですが、あの部屋、サービスにしてはやや高く感じます。
