È una buona posizione per la tua base a Kyoto, anche se tieni presente che dovrai camminare un po' (500-600 m) dalla stazione della metropolitana più vicina. Tuttavia, la stazione degli autobus è proprio di fronte all'hotel. Se ti piace camminare, ci sono molte buone opzioni di cibo in zona e, come bonus, c'è un supermercato a pochi metri di distanza. (dopo le 17:00, ci sono sconti per bento e cibo)

Location is abit of walking distance from shopping area of shijo. Convenient store and grocery store just around the corner. Good amenities in hotel with welcome drink

This was our second time staying at Agora Kyoto Shijo, and we were just as pleased as we were during our first visit. The hotel maintains a welcoming atmosphere and offers a great location for exploring the city. The room was decent in size, providing enough space for us to relax comfortably. We appreciated the sufficient amenities, which made our stay enjoyable. The cleanliness and attention to detail were evident, contributing to a pleasant experience. Overall, Agora Kyoto Shijo continues to impress, and we look forward to returning for another stay in the future!

Room is very spacious and location is great. Not in the heart of the city but very close to it so it is quiet. Room is very cosy and has every equipment needed. Felt like at home during my stay

They have welcome drinks but was not offered to us when we arrived. When I asked if I can get coffee, they said I need to pay for it. The receptionist I spoke with said coffee is free but apparently it is not. They don’t even have coffee in the room like every other hotels I stayed in. Too bad coz the room was nice. Need to improve on their customer service skills.

I came back to Kyoto after a short trip to Kinosaki and decided to stay at Agora again. Comfortable hotel and they were able to keep my luggage prior check in! :)

I’ll start with location, which was very convenient. Room was very clean and amenities were nice. Very close to the bus stops and subway. Has many coffee shop and supermarkets around. The staff was super helpful and nice. Beside the front desk foreigner administrator who was kind of rude, everyone was super professional and helpful.

Nice location and the bar amenities for tea and dashi soup was great.

Stayed for one night during our trip to Kyoto. Small room, but good enough for a short stay.
