I travelled to TNR Boutique Hotel and Spa Kusadasi (Turkey) from 12th - 19th April 2023 as my daughter was having her teeth done. It is 1.25 journey by taxi costing £45 from Izmir airport to this hotel. We arrived about 1pm and met a very nice young man who duly checked us in and allotted our rooms we had 2 separate rooms. They both had sea view and were lovely but we were 1.5 miles from nearest beach Ladies beach I believe the photo on the TNR website is very like Ladies beach in high season be aware this beach is a good 25 mins walk from hotel. I cannot understand some reviews by tripadvisors around same time advising about how good the dinner was there is no evening meal available in this hotel There are some restaurants Kusadasi I was not impressed at all but would highly recommend Kosmu near the sea excellent food ,made feel welcome and great service steak was par excellence thanks. The hotel has a pool but there was no water in it (do have a laugh()I believe the day I left they were filling it so cannot comment on it there is a Spa which I never saw i was informed that the jacuzzi was out of action and could have treatments and use of what ever was actually up and running so I was so disillusioned with my experience that I passed on this one. it was one negative after another. breakfast was the exact same for my 7 days olives,3 chesses, bread and butter and jam honey , a boiled egg cold and so dry it caused me to cough, Turkish tea. We did not have it each day. this was served in an adjoining room called Castrell we paid 3 liras each for fresh orange juice it was nice. The smell of waste from the drains was appalling . When I went to reception the usual reply was ' little English but when I disputed the issue 'they were quick to defend. They were not friendly or business like or helpful. I enquired about the shuttle service how its works and the manager Nigor ( my apologies if I got the spelling wrong) admitted they could arrange a tranfer for approx £120 . We got Kale taxis (£45 ) Their profile on Booking .com which we booked through was so misleading as I have outlined above. They charged my daughter for soiled sheets £15 which was an insult and actually took photos of the sheets and passed the photos around from domestic staff to receptionists to manager this was an invasion of privacy as our solicitor has called it. I cannot say any more as we have left it in our solicitor hands but they are ruthless . I have travelled many places all over the world as have not come across any people as greedy and griping like I did in Turkey, the men were tormenting and condescending especially towards women . Avoid Murphys on the Port as 4 men tried to make me pay for my meal twice because the young man who dealt with my bill actually had no paper in the machine except a tiny bit it came up on my phone the amount I paid . We stayed for a couple of nights, the location is perfect, close to the seaside and there are a lot of restaurants and bars around. The room was spacious and rather clean, the bed was just amazing, real soft and felt like you’re sleeping in a cloud. We really liked the breakfast too, it had everything you could wish for and they also had fresh orange juice, my absolute favourite! The indoor swimming pool turned out to be smaller than in the pictures, but I mean it was still nice to be able to swim.

Where to begin - 10 amazing days made special by Charisma and her crew, (especially young Humeyra) who although some of their English wasn’t great, couldn’t do enough to try and please us. The Aegean view all around us crashing and sparkling, our room with glass walls on two sides so we felt like we were at sea. The food: traditional hand made flat bread being rolled out every morning on the terrace, fresh honeycomb and creamy home made yogurt with breakfast, then fresh hand made pasta hanging waiting to be cooked for dinner… live mellow guitar music and romantic singing at night in the warm air on the terrace with the red sun hanging low in the sky. Fabulous 30m pool always warm, always nearly empty for great length swimming, local mountain bikes to hire for long rides to Ephesus and the National park nearby. Massage and wonderful hydrofacials at the spa - not expensive and very professional and easily available (thanks Dilek!) Only things I can think of to balance this would be: let’s get some English tv channels? Let’s get some better quality mocktails and zero alcohol for the non drinkers amongst us please? We will of course be coming back!

Il nostro soggiorno in questo hotel è stato davvero eccellente. Abbiamo scelto una sala di vista sul mare e sono stati assolutamente soffiati via dalle visione incantevole. Le foto online non fanno davvero giustizia - è stato ancora più stupendo in persona. Abbiamo scelto la metà della tavola e anche se il cibo non era abbastanza per me, ci sono state molte opzioni disponibili al buffet. Tuttavia, ritengo che la scelta di metà tavola sia di valore, perché si tratti di un po' di timori per trovare la cena dopo un lungo giorno di esplorazione, ma l'accento del nostro soggiorno era quello dei due signori più anziani che lavoravano per la colazione. Erano incredibilmente attenti, con un grande senso di umorismo, e sempre sembravano davvero felici di aiutare. La loro calda ospitalità è davvero aggiunto alla nostra esperienza e ci ha fatto sentire molto benvenuti. Inoltre, c'è un taxi che passa attraverso l'hotel ogni 20 minuti, che è molto conveniente per arrivare in città o alla fermata degli autobus. Questo ha reso esplorare la zona senza problemi e piacevole. In generale, consiglierei molto questo hotel. La vista marina, la posizione conveniente e l'eccellente servizio del personale rendevano la nostra permanenza davvero memorabile.

E' assolutamente bella, e' rimasta qui per 12 notti, e' una casa di ospiti a casa di famiglia. Vicino al centro, ma molto tranquillo e un posto che ti piace venire ”a casa” dopo aver viaggiato in tutti i meravigliosi luoghi antici. Personale utile e bellissimo. Bellissima casa di famiglia, molto grande e ristrutturata per essere un hotel. Si trova subito sopra il centro storico, a pochi minuti a piedi dal caravanserraglio, la moschea cittadina ed il porto con il gran bazar. Personale gentilissimo, padrone di casa che parla anche un po’ di italiano. The pomeridiano con prodotti della casa nel bel giardino della reception. Colazione abbondante a bordo piscina, che consiglio di usare perché le spiagge di Kusudasi sono sempre super affollate. Camere molto belle e rustiche, unica cosa abbiamo sofferto un po’ il caldo perché la corrente non funzionava bene, ma il problema é stato risolto.

Мы останавливались в данном отеле всего на одну ночь, но даже этого хватило, чтобы запомнить его навсегда. В действительности комнаты отеля намного меньше, чем на фото. Вся обстановка комнаты очень старая. Входная белая дверь грязная, заляпанная. Шторы старые, пахнут пылью, были оторваны с одной стороны. Пластиковая дверь в ванную комнату покрыта ржавчиной. Сама ванная представляет собой унитаз, раковину без какой-либо полочки для гигиенических принадлежностей, и смеситель. Отдельной душевой кабины с дверками или хотя бы душевого поддона нет. То есть предполагается, что вы принимаете душ, а вода льется не только на вас, но и на все остальное, что есть в ванной комнате - на пол, унитаз, раковину. В нашем номере вода после принятия душа не уходила полностью в слив, а прямо перед унитазом стояла лужа. Ручка душа и вовсе была оторвана от шланга, после жалобы на ресепшне нам просто выдали новую. По номеру пришлось ходить исключительно в пляжных тапочках из-за постоянной сырости в ванной. Одно из трех выданных полотенец было грязным, мы предпочли пользоваться своими. Поверхности стола, тумбочки, телефон, были пыльные, это было видно невооруженным глазом. Зеркало в ванной было все в разводах от тряпки, которой его наспех протерли, а в комнате и вовсе не было вытерто. В целом впечатление от отеля ужасное. Многие детали интерьера требуют замены на новые. Уборщицы то ли не успевают, то ли работают на отвали. Хотя в некоторых вопросах дело даже не в уборке. Например, проснулись мы с кусочками отвалившейся от стены краски на кровати. Спасибо, хоть висящий над кроватью кондиционер остался на месте. Мы не могли дождаться утра, чтобы побыстрее съехать оттуда. Единственный плюс отеля это его расположение прямо в центре города. Кстати, при выборе отеля мы не нашли ни одного отрицательного отзыва, что выглядит очень странно. Скорее всего, их просто чистят. Надеюсь, что мой отзыв останется здесь и будет полезен. Никому не рекомендую данный отель, он абсолютно не стоит тех денег, которые за него просят. За такую же сумму можно найти варианты лучше, пусть и дальше от центра.

Abbiamo trascorso solo 2 notti in questo hotel. La stanza era un po 'piccola ma perfettamente pulita con un completo accoppiamento. Avremmo consigliato di chiedere una stanza gemella. La posizione era grande per esplorare Kusadasi e c'era parcheggio gratuito in tutto l'hotel. (Chiedi alla direzione di prenotare un posto). Il personale non avrebbe potuto essere più amichevole e utile. Il colazione turco era quanto mai buono in un hotel 5 stelle. Ho contato 15 delicazioni diverse più caffè o tè più pane. Rimarrà certamente qui.

Abbiamo scelto il Derici per la posizione fantastica, buone recensioni di TripAdvisor e un ottimo valore. Non è stato deluso. Anche se siamo arrivati a metà della notte, c'era qualcuno che ci aiutava con il nostro bagaglio e ci mostrava le strutture della stanza. Tutto era pulito e la raffreddamento e l'aria condizionata erano molto apprezzati. Avevamo una spaziosa sala di vista sul mare, che era perfetta per noi. La piscina al tetto era favolosa. Il personale era molto utile, ma Ciara riceve un grido speciale per andare a un migliaio di distanza. Posso vedere che è il manager dell'hotel un giorno. Abbiamo solo mangiato colazione, ma c'era molta varietà per tutti i gusti. Se ritorniamo a Kusadasi, rimarremo assolutamente qui.

Colazione abbondante a bordo piscina, che consiglio di usare perché le spiagge di Kusudasi sono sempre super affollate. Camere molto belle e rustiche, unica cosa abbiamo sofferto un po’ il caldo perché la corrente non funzionava bene, ma il problema é stato risolto.

Let me start by saying that the staff at this hotel were so kind and helpful, I have absolutely no complaints about them. When we first arrived at the hotel, their credit card machine was not working, and they let us settle in and said we could pay the next morning no problem. It was super nice. When we asked for extra towels or toilet paper there was always extra. Amazing people. However, this hotel could use a SERIOUS renovation. As soon as we opened the door the room smelled like an old man’s gym locker, there were stains on some of the sheets, and my duvet comforter was literally ripped at the bottom. The water smelled like sulfur and seaweed every other time we used the sink, and the electricity in the room would jsut randomly go off by itself and then come back on later. The lights outside our room in the hallway hardly ever worked and the spa (hammam) was non existent. It was literally an abandoned basement with old furniture upside down and empty dark rooms. Absolutely terrifying looking, we went back to our room immediately. There was water leaking on the top floor and the paint falling off the walls in many areas.Whoever runs/owns this hotel must be trying to create an interactive horror experience. Although Kayahanbay Otel might have seen it’s last renovation during the ottoman reign, it is central to downtown Kusadasi and would be the best hotel in town if it had a serious renovation. The breakfast was pretty good too. Beautiful views and close to the Çarsi and restaurants.
