Hotel Ascott a Kuala Lumpur

Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Ascott Star KLCC. The room was complete with everything you need, from iron to coffee machine and even umbrella! The facilities especially the rooftop infinity pool and level 6 swimming pool were huge and awesome. The infinity pool faces the twin tower so great photo spot! Not forgetting to mention, there is a starbucks station at the lobby. You can simply select your preferred drink (there were plenty of choices) and the prices were cheaper too! Downside, I had to shift room twice due to aircon issue and ceiling leakage. But the staff handled it professionally and found me a room and even provided me a free upgrade with great city view. They even accommodate my request to 3pm late check-out. Location was not the best and the lift for hotel guests were kind of slow. Other that that, I truly enjoyed my stay in Ascott! Highly recommended for those looking for a hotel with great facilities and near twin tower!

Location is excellent, with major malls and landmarks like Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC, Pavilion Mall with easy reach by foot. Service is excellent - staff arranged a super late checkout after being told that our flight out is in the late evening - a nice gesture that is much appreciated, especially junior and seniors travelling together. Room is spacious and nicely furnished, though comes with some wear and tear that is normal for a hotel this age. Bathroom is huge and comes with bathtubs, toiletries smells great, too! Rooms for improvement are ensuring that the appliances are in working order - our microwave was not functioning well during our stay, which my family ended up eating cold meals and kid with cold milk. There also wasn’t extra trash bags in the kitchen, not enough tissue in the living and dining room. We have to keep bringing the tissue in and out from the bathrooms every time times during meal times. Though i am sure that could be easily resolved by a simple call to the service desk, these are actually daily necessities for any service apartment, a ‘home’ that could be a short term to long term accommodation for a families, business guests etc. The curtain track installation in the bedrooms are also not well thought out. The block-out curtains couldn’t overlapped, leaving a gap for lights to pass through. This may not be an issue to some but for guests whom are light sleepers and need to sleep in total darkness, it’s unpleasant to sleep in such environment. Hope the facilities management can look into these details and continue to improve, it will definitely make the stay an even more pleasant one that it already is.

Hotel in centro città di buon valore. La camera era pulita e ben arredata. Bello avere la connessione wifi gratuita e caffè gratuito di buona qualità nella piacevole area lounge. Il personale era gentile e disponibile.

Very nice hotel and cool place. Price for me, affordable and cheap for staying with family. Have 3 rooms and cover 5 people for breakfast. Satisfied with cleanliness. Breakfast is simple but nice Maybe I will repeat it next time for a family holiday.

Amo il concetto e pensava molto bene agli spazi. La mia stanza era comoda e minima disturbo, nonostante fosse proprio davanti al lobby degli ascensori. Il personale è amichevole e sempre felice di aiutare. Vengo spesso a fare viaggi di lavoro di KL e Lyf sarà certamente la mia scelta di alloggio, finché non è troppo lontano da dove devo andare per incontri. E' necessario che gli ospiti si ritrovano anche dopo di loro per la maggior parte del tempo e è bello sapere che le aree comuni sono generalmente quasi pulite e temperate. Le forniscono basket per contenere tutti i vostri articoli di pantry in un posto. Sono fornite anche etichette con marcatori! Si sente come una comunità e tutti giocano un ruolo per mantenere tutto il posto bello e piacevole!
