Hotel in zona Unitarg Hala Targowa, Cracovia

The first night we stayed here, we were in room 2. All seemed OK on initial inspections. The staff seemed pleasant. We went to make ourselves a drink and freshen up. We'd been up since 3am for an early flight. There's a kettle (that's corded, so you have to unplug it every time to fill it up, so take water to it, and a coffee machine. Neither of the appliances worked. We pulled the big table theyre on, out the way to find they weren't plugged in. Not a big deal, right? Well, the electric socket was hanging out of the wall. We plugged the units in, very carefully and made a coffee. Coffee made, went to put some milk in it, no milk. We left the tea and coffee as we both have milk. The air conditioning in the room was set to 24°c and we searched everywhere for a day to adjust it. We ended up going to reception and asking. They keep the remotes to the air con. You cannot adjust it yourself from the room! We borrowed a remote and turned the air con down. We left the room for our day out thinking all was well. On returning later that day, we realised the air conditioning was off. We questioned it with reception the next day (reception is left unattended from 6pm onwards so if you have any issues, all there is is an emergency phone number) and was told the air conditioning has been turned off in all rooms now because the heating was on. To advertise the room as ”Air conditioning AND heating”.....it seems its air conditioning (the you can't control) OR heating. The room must have been 20°c + all night. We thought we'd have a cold shower, to try and bring our temperature down before bed. My wife had her shower, walked across the bedroom floor bare foot and got a small shard of glass stuck in her foot! I went for a shower, turned the shower up full pressure, and apparently this activates a neat feature that forces the shower head out of its holder and smashes you straight in the head. The smell from the bathroom in room 2 was also, terrible. Not quite sure what it was. The toilet was cracked in room 2, but didn't affect use. The shower trap was cracked and loose, not fun if you step on it! We couldn't open the windows because the room faces onto a very busy street. Lots of bars, lots of people, lots of traffic. We were woken up at 11pm, 12am, and 12:30am by noises, car alarms from outside and the heat. Guests coming back late, also seemed to come in and congregate in the hallways to talk. I think if reception were manned, they could remind staff that to be a bit more respectful for others staying. Needless to say, the next morning, we asked to move rooms. Next day we were asked to check out room 9. This is on the second floor. Little bit higher away from the street. The bathroom didn't smell, but that was set to change. The room seemed a big improvement. It was already a lot cooler (although the air con didn't work). Knowing that it probably wasn't going to work, we left the windows open all day while we were out to keep the room cool. On return

Questo hotel è molto bello e confortevole. Le stanze sono ampie, ben arredate e munite di un grande schermo piatto con una cornice di legno, che lo fa apparire come un quadro. Peccato che nel bagno non ci sia il bidet. Quando le cameriere rifanno la stanza provvedono a rifornirla di due bottigliette di acqua minerale naturale. Il vantaggio maggiore è dato però dalla posizione strategica dell'hotel, vicinissimo al centro ed a due passi sia da un grande centro commerciale, che dalla stazione ferroviaria. Appena usciti dall'albergo c'è un ufficio di cambio con ottimi tassi. L'albergo ha una hall elegante e personale gentile. È munito, inoltre, di un grande parcheggio interno recintato.

A good sized and well located hotel, it’s just a short walk from the main train station and a few minutes’ walk to the old town. Il decoro è molto aggiornato, sia nella zona di accoglienza che nelle camere, ma tutto era pulito, tempestivo e in ordine di lavoro. La stanza era di dimensioni adeguate, avevamo chiesto una gemella che veniva con un letto doppio e un letto singolo, e c’era poco o nessuna stanza al lato di ogni letto, con uno in piedi contro il muro e uno contro le finestre. Forse due singole avrebbero lavorato un po' meglio, e c'era anche un divano piccolo e una tavola rotonda. I letti erano molto confortevoli e la nostra stanza era di fronte al cortile interno, così non c'era nulla di rumore dall'esterno, anche se vicini all'ascensore ci era stato un po' di rumore da questo, ma niente di troppo intrusivo. La temperatura sia nella stanza che nel resto dell'hotel era troppo calda, molto calda, in realtà, c'era un'unità di aria condizionata, ma l'energia usata per riscaldare la stanza e poi raffreddare sembra ridicolo. Il bagno era sul lato piccolo, ma caldo e potente. Altri servizi comprendono la fabbricazione di tè/caffee, bottiglie d'acqua, TV e una cassaforte. La colazione è stata un'aiuto per voi stessi, con le uniche opzioni calde come un salsa di stile di Francoforte e uova scrambled. C'era una buona diffusione fredda, tuttavia, con carne, formaggio, pomodoro e mozzarella, uova bollite e poche concozioni miste – probabilmente gli equivalenti polacchi di cola e salada di patate, ma qualunque fossero, erano molto piacevole, e e alcuni cereali, che mancavano molto, sono frutti preparati (solo poche mele intere), iogurt (nessuno al mondo) e pascoli (solo pane e rotoli). In generale, pensavo che questo fosse un buon hotel dato il prezzo, è un posto molto buono, il personale era abbastanza amichevole e non avrei alcun problema con consigliarlo se siete su un bilancio stretto.

Un bellissimo hotel molto pulito con personale amichevole e di aiuto che è solo a pochi passi dal quartiere ebraico. Se si cammina a pochi passi dal fiume si può seguire il castello principale che vi conduce alla città principale e alla piazza. Abbiamo preso un breve crociera fluviale (circa un'ora) che è stato molto piacevole. La mia moglie an Io posso raccomandare Starka ristorante che è solo a pochi passi dall'hotel. Un viaggio alla miniera di sale circa 45 minuti vale bene.

Una veloce camminata e sei al Barbakan. Letto comodissimo, servizi igienici basici ma efficienti. Conveniente, include colazione tipo continentale. Pulito. Sicuro, reception h24, ascensore, doppia entrata vicino alla stazione centrale. Non prenotare se cerchi il lusso. Prenota a colpo sicuro se vuoi viverti la città.

La struttura è abbastanza nuova, appena oltre il ponte sulla Vistola. Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera al IV piano, che non affacciava sulla strada ed è risultata estremamente silenziosa. La catena ha un formato piuttosto spartano, pensato per soggiorni piuttosto brevi, senza grandi bagagli. I letti sono regolari e comodi, il bagno è un po' piccolo e non c'è molto spazio per gli asciugamani (infatti la dotazione standard è solo di 2 teli doccia ed un tappetino di spugna), ma ne abbiamo richiesto uno aggiuntivo e ci è stato prontamente portato. La colazione, come sempre nell'Europa centro settentrionale, è quasi esclusivamente salata, ma con 4 diverse verdure fresche. Volendo c'è anche la possibilità del parcheggio interno a pagamento (ma costa di più che sulla strada sul retro, che è pure gratuito la domenica). Il personale della reception è sempre stato molto disponibile e gentile. Il WiFi è stabile e veloce.

For a hotel whose main purpose is to service conference guests, it is unfortunate that the in-room WiFi connection is utterly unreliable and makes working impossible - the signal could not support any remote working. I had to use my non-Polish cell phone data as a hotspot for my laptop. This is a huge issue that really needs to be resolved for business guests ASAP. When I complained about this, I was told to use the executive lounge for a better connection - yet I can hardly inflict a 2 hour long Teams meeting on the other lounge guests. The hotel road access must also be mentioned - frankly the design is stupid. The single access lane with boom gate to the hotel is constantly blocked by a steady stream of taxis and food delivery cars. They park there while waiting for customers or to drop off food orders, so guests cannot enter and must wait around - on one occasion this was for 5 minutes and the driver was rude and aggressive when I politely requested he move and wait elsewhere. Breakfast at the Fifth Avenue restaurant is barely acceptable - I have had better free basic breakfasts at a Hampton Inn. The quality of the food is lacking, but also the poor preparation/cooking really stands out - e.g. undercooked, cold hash browns. The guy on the desk was obnoxious and acted like it was my fault my name wasn't on the list - even though my Honors loyalty status means I'm automatically entitled to breakfast as a benefit. Apparently I was to blame for a lack of communication amongst hotel staff. The restaurant itself was heaving with poorly behaved guests, children running around screeching and spilling liquids. The young wait staff was overwhelmed - needed tables were left uncleared. I had to do this myself, then ask twice for fresh cutlery/china. The quality of food from room service was equally sub-standard and disappointing. The parking ticket machine does not work. After wasting a ridiculous amount of time trying to pay for parking, I went inside to reception where the guy laughed and said 'Oh no, it doesn't work. Pay here at the desk'. Maybe put up a sign? Guests should be aware that the pool is shared with guests from the adjoining Hampton. Apparently it's not intended to be used by child free adults before 20:00 - the rest of the day it's taken over by noisy kids playing ball games who prevent actual swimming. If you need to withdraw money from the automatic teller machine - good luck doing this of an evening when the area is closed off and inaccessible. Finally, the mattress was uncomfortable. Neither firm nor soft, just lacking in decent springs/support and in need of an update. The one positive was the evening happy hour at the executive lounge. Good quality options - goulash soup really good. The two male waiters very helpful and good at clearing and monitoring. Given the inconvenient location away from the city centre and the overall average quality of the hotel's offering, I've asked my company to avoid booking future stays

Sono arrivato all'hotel alle 10:00 dopo un lungo viaggio - mi sono accolto con favore con informazioni che il sistema era sbagliato e non è stato possibile controllare nella stanza che ho prenotato e che dovevo aspettare nella zona del bar. Fortunatamente le complicazioni non sono durate molto, altrimenti sarebbe ragionevole offrire almeno un bicchiere d'acqua in attesa di risolvere il problema. Ma questo è un dettaglio rispetto al punto: nella stanza non ho avuto modo di smettere di farlo, che era così forte che non potevo dormire. Ho fatto notare il problema al ricevimento il giorno dopo e ho chiesto di spendere il fan - ho ricevuto informazioni che non c'è una tale possibilità al momento, perché la persona responsabile e in grado di farlo non è attualmente al lavoro. In quanto soluzione, mi sono offerto le orecchie, che sono molto incomode per me di dormire, ma come dicono ”meglio di niente”. Speravo di una ombra di relax durante il mio soggiorno di due giorni, e quindi ho lasciato l'hotel con un mal di testa. Due notti di privazione del sonno, annoiando ”ummi” del fan in camera e l'incapacità di aprire la finestra = dramma.

Adorato questo hotel. Sembra nuovo e è eccezionalmente pulito e moderno. La nostra camera era una stanza standard ma è in realtà una delle più belle camere “standard” che ho soggiornato. La stanza ha una grande TV, asciugacapelli, macchina Nespresso, tavolo da ferro e da ferro, mini frigo (ben memorizzato con spiriti miniaturali e un paio di snacks, crisp e cioccolato, ecc) con acqua in bottiglia cambiato ogni giorno. Shampoo, condizionatore e gel da doccia sono tutti forniti e non è la roba giusta che si arriva in alcuni hotel. Le letti erano così confortevoli e la camera aveva con l'aria con in modo da poter dormire in una bella camera fredda che è picchio nero come le tende sono fuori. Il personale era tutto carino. Ci siamo accolti alle 1:00 e la signora sul desk era utile e gentile. Una mattina abbiamo mangiato colazione, aveva una grande selezione dei vostri soliti britannici e continentali colazione e formaggi. Molti torti/iogurt/frutti/cereali/toast/pane/bevande calde e fredde. Mi piace che i bicchieri di succo sono grandi invece dei bicchieri di colazione normali che si ottiene al colazione in Inghilterra. Non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di usare il bagno perché eravamo così occupati, ma sembrava bello. Amore i piccoli sacchetti che riempite con lavanda per mettere anche sulla vostra bambola. Piccoli tocchi come questo hanno fatto questo un grande hotel e io certamente andare indietro o consigliare.

Hotel bellissimo e pulito, le camere sono di base ma ben pulite ogni giorno, caffè e tè e acqua bollita nella vostra stanza ogni giorno, i nostri figli rimangono nella stanza accanto alla porta, ho pagato per una camera da letto 3 ma aveva solo un divano in quella era un po 'piccolo. La colazione era bella, molto da scegliere. personale del bar amichevole e aiutare la ricezione completa molto utile l'hotel è a circa 3 miglia dalla città principale e abbiamo un taxi che era circa £4.00 ogni modo ma più in tempo di lavoro!
