L'hotel è molto buono, proprio sul Lago di Costanza, l'ambiente circostante è molto buono, molto facile da raggiungere, anche la reception dell'hotel è molto buona, le camere sono molto calde e pulite e molto confortevoli.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questo hotel sul Lago di Costanza , vicinissimo alle Therme omonime. La camera era molto ampia e confortevole, con servizio di pulizia quotidiano molto attento. Vista la posizione vicino al Lago ma a qualche fermata di bus( con un biglietto che viene dato gratuitamente al check in) dal centro .abbiamo opzionato anche la colazione e usufruito della cena nel ristorante interno all'hotel. Tutto molto buono . Consigliato per qualche giorno di relax sul Lago.

Most significant complaint was the telephone and Internet service were down. During check-out, we were forced to pay by cash as their credit card machines were also not working. This is a significant issue. Very unpleasant situation to surprise guests by making them pay the full bill in cash without prior notice. Their systems were down at least 2 days.

The rooms are small but nice, newly refurbished (it's April 2022), cleanliness could be improved (I found several long dark hairs on my bed), the area is nice with lots of green, walking distance to the Thermal Baths Constance and to the lake, but the breakfast was so bad, it impacted the whole experience. The breakfast staff were uncoordinated, things were constantly unavailable, the staff had to be reminded to refill, the food was low quality, the coffee machine constantly busy or empty. We were told the situation is better on weekends so maybe avoid staying there during the week.

We stayed in 6 different hotels while in Germany. Waldhaus Jakob was the best and the least expensive of them all. We were upgraded to a room in the new section. Large room with a porch. The bathroom was cleverly designed into 3 sections, sink, toilet, shower. Breakfast was wonderful. In the old section of the hotel which is charming. The hotel is in the middle of a forest area on the lake. It was a 30 minute walk to the ferry to Meersburg. There is free parking at the hotel and a bus stop across the street if you want to go into town

A lovely hotel in a great location, and depending upon your view right next to a lovely little beer garden. Meant it was each to relax, grab some good food and a few drinks without wandering too far. Of course, if you want quiet, then probably when booking ask for a room the other side of the hotel. Mosquitos at sunset are a bit of a pain, but you will get that anywhere near the lake! So have spray if you want to sit out all evening.
Staff friendly, lovely hotel, my room was a little tired, but fine for what I needed. I would consider staying here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is a brilliant location to get to everywhere. Perfect area for walking . Our only disappointment were the outside areas. We had a downstairs room with an outside patio - the grass was so long it looked a complete mess. They cut it a few days after we arrived but it still looked a mess. The reception and restaurant staff were a total asset to the hotel , all helpful and soo friendly . We will be back

Wunderbar 😀👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻! Grosse Suite mit Aussicht auf den Bodensee- ruhiges Zimmer direkt am Waldrand. Leckeres Essen im Waldhaus und freundliches Personal! Wir kommen wieder- sehr zu empfehlen! Lange Spaziergänge am See möglich und im Wald.
