La vista è spettacolare e la piscina a sfioro è stupenda. Le camere sono essenziali ma pulite. La colazione è buona. Arrivarci è stato facile. Se lo chiedi, organizzeranno (a un costo aggiuntivo) un taxi dall'aeroporto di Trang al molo di Pak Meng. Poi una barca longtail fino all'hotel. Questa è probabilmente un'opzione migliore rispetto al traghetto, perché verrai lasciato a una certa distanza dall'hotel e se c'è bassa marea non sarai in grado di raggiungere facilmente l'hotel. È un hotel davvero carino e un'isola meravigliosa. Tuttavia, probabilmente non ci tornerei se tornassi a Koh Ngai. Il motivo è che è piuttosto isolata dal resto dell'isola ed è piuttosto distante dalla buona area per lo snorkeling di Paradise Beach. Inoltre, la compagnia di barche che l'hotel utilizza per le gite di un giorno non verrà a prenderti se c'è un po' di vento. Giù al molo principale del resort Fantasy Koh Hai, puoi ancora prendere delle barche per l'isola vicina per gite di un giorno (se non ti danno fastidio le acque leggermente agitate!). Se desiderate maggiori opzioni per quanto riguarda ristoranti, bar, massaggi ed escursioni giornaliere, dirigetevi più a sud.

L'hotel è situato in una posizione straordinaria. I panorami sono semplicemente fantastici. È evidente che l'hotel conserva resti del suo antico lusso, che è antico e non è più in funzione da molto tempo. Ma il rapporto tra il prezzo (50 dollari a notte) e il servizio e la splendida vista sull'isola e sul mare copre solo i difetti sotto forma di mobili logori. La scelta del cibo non è molto ampia, ma non siamo clienti esigenti. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti di tutto, compresa la colazione inclusa nel prezzo e piatti separati che abbiamo ordinato per pranzo e cena. Il personale è molto gentile e ha soddisfatto ogni richiesta. Lo svantaggio è che non c'è una spiaggia balneabile, ma dopo aver camminato per 1 chilometro lungo la spiaggia, ci siamo resi conto che non ci sono spiagge ideali da questa parte. E tutti e cinque gli alberghi che erano lungo la strada soffrono tanto quanto noi, solo che lì il prezzo è più alto. Un altro aspetto negativo è che la stanza che abbiamo scelto vicino alla piscina è in alto ed è difficile salire i gradini, ma questo sforzo è ricompensato con una vista affascinante dalla stanza o dalla piscina. Passavamo la maggior parte del tempo in piscina, perché... Fare il bagno in spiaggia non è molto comodo. Ma penso che siamo fortunati, perché... eravamo soli lì. Completamente soli, nell'albergo eravamo solo in 5, insieme a noi, e abbiamo visto altre persone un paio di volte. È stato meraviglioso, rilassarsi in piscina con le viste più belle di altre isole e osservare gli uccelli volare da un albero all'altro.

傳統老式的度假酒店，適合喜歡安靜的客人，因為在海島的最北側，所以海灘上見不到來往的遊客，極為僻靜，印象最深刻的是位於酒店最高處的游泳池，風景獨好，還有每晚的晚餐，簡直就是驚喜！

風景非常好，幾乎是最北面了，服務人員熱情，樂於提供幫助，奈島風景很美，最高點觀景不錯，就是爬樓梯太痛苦啊

Was so looking forward to staying here . It’s a really large property that sadly has been left to deteriorate and would cost massive amounts to bring it up to a good level. The pool and views are spectacular. Sadly everything else was disappointing. We trekked 177 steps up to our room close to the pool which I didn’t mind. There is a curvy road up if you prefer to steps. On arrival we were taken up with our cases by a ‘golf buggy’ The pool area is large but empty . You get pool towels at the bar area but the wooden loungers were mostly broken and very uncomfortable . Had spinach spring rolls at the pool 3 days out of 4 and were lovely. The guy also gave us ice for our room which we appreciated. The pool bar closes at 3pm so if you want anything it’s that trek down the stairs again. Breakfast is also down the stairs. There are a few options but the cold food is not covered and there were lots of ants. In fact lots of ants everywhere . We dined at the restaurant the 1st night but it was poor. The staff just didn’t seem to bother, very unusual for Thailand . The lady on reception was friendly though. There’s no TVs in the rooms ( if that’s your thing ) and the WiFi is not existent. There’s also a lack of plugs , we could only find 2 and the fridge used 1 of those. Such a shame but I wouldn’t stay here again and suggest you go for ‘ a day visit’ to buy a drink ( before 3pm!) and have some food to enjoy the views. We did manage to get the buggy up another day after the beach but the guy isn’t always available.

I loved the views from the resort, it's the highlight of our stay at Koh Ngai.  Just staring at the views at the pool deck was good enough.  The rooms are clean, I think all rooms will have some view of the sea, even the garden rooms. Breakfast is ok, you get to choose if you prefer continental, american or asian, plus there are the pancakes, bread, fruits, coffee and juices available ala-buffet style. The price of food at their bar, and perhaps the same menu is used in the restaurant, are reasonably-priced. There are however couple of areas for improvement that hotel management may want to work on so that stay will be more pleasant: 1) Front shore -- is full of rocks that were washed to the shore.  May be good if these are cleared every so often to make the area swimmable during high tide 2) The building structure is old and this shows especially at the hallway floors making them look dirty. Not sure if regular scrubbing can do the trick of reducing the grayishness of the floors.

This hotel is perched on a cliff fantastic views at the top where they have a sizable pool with a bar and eating place . The rooms are huge nice balcony beds comfy really good breakfast . You can take hotels kayaks out .. snorkeling gear all free. What really makes this one of my favourite hotels are the staff so friendly and helpful I would definitely return. ps one thing I should mention is that there are lots of steps and no lift .R
