Nice hotel to stay in if you want to be near the waterfront or the bus station. I had to check out very early in the morning and the hotel prepared a breakfast bag for me which I really appreciated. The room I checked into was very basic, no slippers or robe for the guests either which was a bit of a let down. The bathroom water was not hot, this was another let down considering that it was a cold winter day. Overall an average experience.

Celebrated my mom’s birthday. We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and our room was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast is great, wish it had pancakes or waffles for vegetarians. The hotel is located at the heart of Knysna- short stroll to the waterfront, plenty of restaurants& activities. Parking is available on site for ZAR30 p/ night and tourism levy is ZAR30 p/ night. Our check in was 30 minutes late, (14:30) bit disappointed, but we understand it was peak period. Otherwise highly recommend and will definitely return!

Situato al Waterfront e adiacente al centro commerciale questo moderno hotel di notevoli dimensioni e' in posizione strategica per visitare questa parte della città permettendo di cenare e fare relativamente tardi in uno dei tanti ristoranti del porto in estrema sicurezza ( cosa che a Cape Town o a Johannesburg vi scordate ). Le stanze sono normalmente grandi, ben arredate e dotate di un bagno ben fornito di teli per asciugarsi e set completo gel goccia-lozione corpo-shampoo. Notevole e' la proposta dei cibi alla colazione con vastissima scelta sia di cibi dolci che salati. Posteggio a pagamento ( 50 ran ) o in alternativa posti liberi gratis al posteggio del centro commerciale ( distante 20 metri ). Ottima copertura wifi gratis Check in dalle 14.00 Check out fino 11.00 Colazione 6.30-10.30

Situato a 10 minuti in auto da varie attrazioni naturali come Featherbed Nature Reserve, l'hotel Protea Hotel By Marriott Knysna Quays si trova davanti al Waterfront di Knysna. Posizionato in una bella zona sul porticciolo dove ci sono diversi locali per la cena, in quanto al suo interno non è presente alcun Ristorante per cenare. La struttura è molto “navale” sia nelle parti comuni (delizioso il piccolo faro sulle scale presente al secondo piano) che nelle stanze. Le camere sono discrete, alcune con vista mare altre con vista piscina. Colazione in stile internazionale, peccato per le temperature un po' basse (aria condizionata come se fossimo in estate) nella zona riservata ai clienti che beneficiano per l’appunto della colazione.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui in occasione del nostro viaggio di nozze come punto tappa fra Cape Town e Port Elizabeth. Posizionato in una bella zona sul porticciolo dove ci sono diversi locali per la cena in alternativa a quella dell'hotel. Parcheggio privato disponibile a pagamento. Staff disponibile e gentile.

Siamo stati una notte sola durante il giro della Garden Route. Stanza nella media, senza particolari pecche o punti di forza. Niente ristorante per la cena (siamo usciti e andati all'adiacente Waterfront). Colazione non particolarmente ricca.

A modern hotel situated right on the waterfront in Knysna with great views of the marina and the bay. Our room was spacious and clean and in full working order. Staff are really friendly and helpful Breakfast is good. Note that the hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch / dinner. But it is right on the waterfromt development that has some grat restaurants less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
