We arrived for the second part of our honeymoon and were warmly welcomed, received numerous recommendations and even better… our room was ready although we arrived early! The staff is so kind and generous. The property is going through construction, nothing that was annoying or loud! I can see the expansion will allow them to maximize their amenities better. Small upgrades need to be made around the pool area, such as fixing the adult hot tub as the kid one always has a ton of children in it. Chairs and loungers could also use an upgrade. Hotel room was great! Full kitchen so we could cook meals and a nice balcony to relax on. All in all not bad!!

The new and high tech washer dryer in room was great but because we’re not familiar with this combo appliance, it was a bit of a shock to find out a small load takes almost 4 hours to wash and dry! The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was just right. The casting feature on the 2 huge tv screens were a nice bonus but seems a bit buggy. I absolutely loved the bidet! I wish it was a standard in all Hilton hotels! The staff are awesome and the customer service from the engineers who adjusted the aircon in our room is top notch! It made all the difference to our quality of sleep.

The property is brand new, the rooms are attractive, beautiful landscaping everywhere. The pool is large, never very crowded while we were there. On the downside, the beach is across a very busy street .we love to walk on the beach every morning very early .When returning to the hotel, there is nowhere to rinse the sand off your feet and sandals. All the pool areas are locked. The beach clubhouse on the ocean side had very expensive cocktails , a very limited food menu(and the food was very average at best) not to mention the sun is glaring in the windows making it uncomfortable to see and very warm. Overall we had an enjoyable week. Spent most of our time hiking the gorgeous island.

First time visiting Maul Bay Villas as an HGVC member after prior trips to Waikiki property. Maui is definitely a slower pace, and I personally feel the beaches are nicer on Oahu and there are more activities. But the accommodations, pools and beach club here are very nicely done. We had a 2BR that had plenty of space for the four of us and never any problem finding chairs around either pool. Note that August afternoons are usually quite windy.

This was our first time going to Maui Bay Villas and we loved it. We only had enough points to reserve a standard view room so next time we might save up points to get an ocean view room. But we still loved our standard one bedroom unit with the really nice amenities inside and the pretty views outside. Plus it was not far at all to walk to the swimming pools and beach areas. Our favorite part of the resort was the restaurant right on the beach with windows that highlighted the views but kept the wind from blowing on us when we were eating and drinking. The pool on that side of the resort was nice too and we were able to take some great sunset pictures from the little beach right there. I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. Everyone we talked to was so friendly and professional. And Myra the manager came over to greet us after one issue we'd had before we arrived to make sure we were having a great time now that we were here. Gina the concierge was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about helping us find new activities to do since this was not our first trip to Maui. She truly helped us plan out a great itinerary so that we were able to really maximize our time here on the island. Thank you again for everything. We will definitely stay here again.

Wow! This property is absolutely incredible. The ocean front pool is beautiful. We walked the beach every morning. Centrally located in Kihei. Cannot wait to return. There is construction and it will be ongoing for a few years but we didn’t find it that bad.

Overall, this is a great place to stay if you want to be in a central location at a nice resort. The resort itself I very nice and obviously brand new. We are big pool people and that was one of the big draws as the pool is large, multilevel and has a lot of activities at it. The water was perfect temp the whole time and never felt cold once. The rooms were awesome and felt very large. We were in a two bedroom and our family of four had plenty of room. The master bathroom was large and the spare bathroom was good sized as well. It was weird there wasn't a bathtub which did make it hard for our young ones. Kitchen wise it was large and very well equipped. We cooked 5 of our 7 nights. The stuff I could like to see changed. I would love to see pool service over the walk up pool bar. It just makes vacation that much easier. The bartending staff was also really inconsistent with the drinks they made. Day one we had Mia Ties there were made with sour mix, the next day they had Malibu in them, then the next day the pours were very light. The grab and go had very weird hours and never seemed open. They did offer free shave ice one day, and we were lucky to make it and get some for the kids. This is something that they can't change but this is on the windy part of the island. The mornings were nice and the late afternoons were nice but from around 12-230 every day the wind blows like crazy. The pool was warm enough that the wind didn't matter but they would make you put the umbrellas down. Over all we liked the resort and we will return.
