GGabrielleLe persone erano molto amichevole e utile. Era neve quando ci fermiamo. Erano così gentili da aiutare a rimuovere neve e ghiaccio sulla nostra macchina senza chiedere. Le camere erano pulite e tempeste. Letti e pigiama erano anche gentili. Sicuramente visiterà di nuovo.

NNC8891L'hotel è situato a pochi passi dalla stazione Karuizawa JR. È disponibile un servizio di autobus ogni mezz'ora al di fuori della stazione sud.
Il bus è molto piccolo e a volte può essere abbastanza pieno, causando la gente a correre sul bus. Sarebbe meglio se l'hotel potesse creare un sistema di accoppiamento migliore o regolare la frequenza del servizio di bus pick-up.
In questo modo si può depositare il bagaglio al centro clienti vicino alla fermata del bus e trasferirlo all'hotel per voi. Credevo che l'hotel non avesse pubblicizzato abbastanza il servizio, perché è molto utile e efficace per creare più spazio per i passeggeri nel pick-up.
Il colazione dell'hotel non è stile buffet, quindi andò all'hotel del principe Karuizawa West per fare colazione.
Durante le ore di non picco, l'hotel offre un trasporto individuale gratuitamente, quindi sicuramente un plus.
La primavera calda di Momiji è certamente una visita da visitare. Puli, moderne, igienico, esattamente quello che cerco in una primavera calda.

33148A stylish hotel, yet filled with vibrance. The fine dinning experience was great. Comfortable beds, though standard rooms are quite small. Amenitie add-ons including hot bath salt self help counter and facial masks, free drinks and snacks after dinner made it very enjoyable after a long day's walk.

SSusanExcellent service. All staff were polite and English speaking which was very helpful.. Boxed breakfast on the terrace was delicious surrounded by lots of natural beauty. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel was on the 2nd floor of a shopping center which is located off the main ***** which had many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay and would come back if ever in the area.

AAdamI stayed at this hotel with my wife and two children during a two-night trip to Karuizawa in early February. The hotel is around 100 years old and its claim to fame is that John Lennon has stayed there. The piano that he played on is still in the bar.
Location: The hotel is near Old Ginza Street and around a 15-minutes drive from Karuizawa station. It was not difficult to find, but you must navigate a narrow approach to the hotel which is icy at this time of the year, so you must drive carefully.
Cleaniness: The staff told me that the hotel was only recently and everything was very clean and in good condition.
Service: The receptionist that conducted the check-in was probably the Japanese that spoke the best English that I had encountered on this trip. He spent a lot of time explaining the hotel to our family. The porter was also very helpful and polite. When we asked for extra toothbrushes and slippers for the children, housekeeping was very prompt in delivering them and even brought some children's robes for my sons.
Facilities: The hotel did not have many facilities. There is a small shop, a bar and a french restaurant but not much else. Some rooms had private hot springs in them and they gave us the opportunity to upgrade. Our room, had a small balcony even though we were on the ground floor. It looked onto a wooded area so there was not much to see, especially at night. However, when it snowed the next morning, my kids loved going out and playing in the snow. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast. It was a simple American breakfast very well presented. It was very pleasurable to look out into the inner courtyard with it was snowing.
Overall: I like this hotel as it has a lot of character. It is architecturally attractive and has kept a lot of its charm despite renovation. The staff are very professional and polite. I would stay in this hotel again.

UUtente ospiteWe had an amazing 2 nights stay here! Located about 5 minutes short walk from the train station, there were a convenience store and small supermarket directly across the hotel.
We weren't expecting much when we booked as the photos look dated and it was a last minute trip but oh mine, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The room was large and although it was the old room, it had a certain charmimg character to it that we love. The bathroom was also big, clean and had a lovely large bathtub. I love the full range of toiletries they provided and was hoping to buy it in Tokyo to bring home but I couldn't.
There was a common area on the second floor where water, juice and coffee were provided and we bought our own sake in the evening and sat there. We spent two peaceful evenings here after dinner and it was lovely.
Our only complaint was the bed was rather soft and the pillows were flat. But we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Karuizawa.

RraywongwmWe had a wonderful stay in Karuizawa, with Marriot providing a good environment for our rest overnight. The hotel room is quite spacious though a bit old style. Short driving distance to all tourist spots nearby! The car park is good and was free! Will definitely come back again!

TTeoshomeThis hotel is a bit remote to those not driving . But the rate is very reasonable and by taxi is short distance to everywhere near train and outlet for shopping n food . The hotel restaurant for dinner is very good with live music and cost is very reasonable with good service . But you need to do reservation in advance . There is a big supermarket a few steps away that you could buy fresh produce to cook simple meal in your room’s kitchen . The public pool is sufficient and cleanliness is fair . Overall a value for money hotel .

UUtente ospiteI was worried of the quality due to how cheap the booking was. But I was genuinely surprised how neat the building, lobby, rooms and bathrooms were when we got there. The place was convenient and close to the Outlet and convenience stores (by car) I like how comfort inn is very modern too as they have menu/further info that you can access via QR code once you are in the room. Even if you also place do not disturb on your door, you will still receive fresh towels/linens outside your door. Overall it was a pleasant stay. For those wondering, the front desk is 24/7, so you can check out as early as 3am. The only sad thing is I couldn’t bring my pet. I hope they can lift that policy in the future. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
