Hotel vicino alla stazione di Karlovy Vary a Karlovy Vary

Stayed here for a few nights for work during the 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival. I liked this hotel although it was pretty hard to judge it properly as the entire place was PACKED due to the film festival with all areas and many floors of the hotel being used by companies and displays. It is a bit of an oddity in Karlovy Vary as it's a modern 15 floor tower / conference centre in a town full of Czech old world buildings (I can only imagine the uproar when they planned it). So it's a hotel that also has Spa / Medical Treatment / Swimming pool, thermal pool / pool party / conference centre and restaurants. It seems to be modern by local standards - I was in a superior room with a balcony on the 13th floor with great views. The room had all the mod cons available in most decent hotels, good wi-fi, USB Power outlets, nice firm bed, good regular housekeeping. One thing I noticed was that the beds didn't have a separate sheet, only a fitted sheet and then a throw over dooner - no big deal, just different. Downstairs restaurant doing breakfast / lunch / dinner with a lot of options and really good wait staff. There's a large separate building (accessed by hill climbing elevator) that has an outdoor heated pool, thermal pool, saunas, change facilities - there was also a Pool Party with DJ, bar etc on the weekend days / nights (I assume that's just in summer or just during the film festival). I believe you get complimentary access to the pools /saunas for a couple of hours every day of your stay - I used it every morning for laps, it was great. In the pool complex there's also a decent restaurant with amazing views. As I said, the place was packed and the staff all seemed to handle it well. Everything you could want outside the hotel is a short walk away and there's SO many restaurants / bars etc to choose from. Karlovy Vary wasn't on my list of places to visit, but now that I've been there I'd consider going back.

Piscina grande, 2 saune e piscine. Camera per sedersi fuori nel giardino. Il cibo era buono. Un buffet di colazione davvero eccellente e un buffet di cena è stato sorprendentemente buono, anche se poco costoso. La sala da pranzo non ha affascinante. Il personale molto zelo che pulisce tutto rapidamente. L'hotel era abbastanza vuoto così tanta stanza. Se si può sentire pieno di ricco. Il parcheggio è un po' costoso ma poca scelta vicino. Il centro è 10-15 min passeggiata. Mi sentivo bello essere in grado di lasciare l'affare dietro, ritrasferire la collina all'hotel. Un trattamento per rimanere qui, sentirsi come un parco fata nelle colline.

The hotel is excellent in terms of price-quality ratio. We were on holiday with a family of 4 adults and 2 children. The room was executive - studio No. 14. Immediately upon entering the hotel you are greeted by a very pleasant aroma. We were greeted by a Russian-speaking girl and shown to the room. And everything was thought out. In the kitchen there are all the utensils for cooking, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, a microwave oven, a hob, a washing machine (powder) Coffee, tea, sugar sticks. (thank you, very nice). There are 3 smart TVs in the room, you can easily connect phone or turn on YouTube. The bathroom is clean, without fungus, snow - white towels, cotton swabs and cosmetic discs. As a child there was enough space for everyone. The bed linen is also snow-white and clean. There are a lot of books in Russian, in general it’s as cozy as home. I can talk about the noise I won’t say anything, since on weekdays we lived on the 5th floor. By the way, there was no sink in the room, the staff solved the problem in a matter of minutes. As a bonus, there are 2 rooms with a photo of the area on the 0th floor. Overall, our family was satisfied and recommends the hotel ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A partire dalla posizione, centro città e le principali attrazioni a piedi. Le camere sono molto pulite e spaziose. La cucina ha tutto quello che ti serve per un soggiorno più lungo (dischi, accessori da cucina, microonde, frigorifero, lavastoviglie, ecc.), ci è anche una lavatrice. Abbondante spazio per rimuovere il bagaglio. Check-in e check-out facile e senza complicati. Posso raccomandare questo posto.

Io e mia moglie piacevano molto a questo hotel, che è un hotel di quattro stelle, situato in un edificio storico, il tetto di questo edificio è molto alto, l'hotel è grande e molto forte. E'a circa 1.25 chilometri dal caldo, quindi devi andare per un sentiero, respirare aria fresca e godere del paesaggio di Carovi Fari.Ci piace molto.Ci sono molti negozi e ristoranti vicino, ci sono molti turisti qui, perché vicino al quartiere residenziale e alle aree governative. Il servizio è attento, le procedure di soggiorno sono molto brevi, e ci sentiamo molto bene vivere qui.

Loved our stay! Comfortable bed and pillows and nice spa area. The hotel gives huge Overlook vibes (if you have ever seen The Shining), with extremely wide and long corridors. All very tasteful, very impressive marble staircase, but still has an authentic behind-the-iron curtain cold-war feeling. Excellent cocktails in the piano bar in the evening, very much recommended. Breakfast was plentiful, but could have more vegetarian/vegan options.

A malicuore devo lasciare una cattiva recensione per 2 ragioni, la prima quella più significativa. 1. All'interno di tutta la struttura non ci sono regolamenti di distanziamento e utilizzo di dispositivi anti covid. Trovo la situazione assurda in quanto, dopo la riapertura delle frontiere, i clienti dell'hotel arrivano da tutta Europa. Pazienza se il governo ceco non ha ancora emanato regolamenti di questo genere, ma un hotel a 5 stelle così blasonato dovrebbe innanzitutto pensare alla sicurezza dei propri dipendenti e clienti. La cosa assurda sono poi i clienti stessi, ben consapevoli di quello che accade all'interno dei propri Paesi di origine, se ne fregano altamente di tutto cercando la ”zona franca” e ti guardano pure strano quando ti vedono girare per le aree comuni con una ffp2 indossata! La zona buffet per la colazione era stracolma di gente con tutte le pietanze in bella vista e pure con i scalda-vivande da aprire e chiudere con le proprie mani. Camerieri indaffarati che si stipano nell'area di preparazione delle bevande calde per portarti poi il caffè/cappuccino con le tazze toccate da più persone. E non parliamo dell'area SPA che ovviamente non sono nemmeno andata a vedere. Tutte queste situazioni hanno creato un forte disagio e non permettono alle persone che tengono alla propria salute di vivere l'esperienza di questo fantastico e storico hotel. Sono già stata lo scorso inverno e avevo nella memoria un bellissimo ricordo, quest'anno devo dire che non soggiornero' più all'hotel Pupp. Ritengo inoltre che tante persone, come me, hanno sempre e comunque l'intenzione di viaggiare e continuare a vivere esperienze anche nell'era ”Covid” , basta però farlo con le dovute attenzioni, cosa che l'hotel Pupp non ha assolutamente. 2. La nostra porta della camera non si apriva con le chiavi magnetiche, nemmeno dopo aver fatto fare il reset più volte, quindi ogni volta che dovevamo entrare in stanza dovevamo passare per la reception e un addetto doveva venire ad aprirci la porta con un passepartout. Trovo assurdo che un hotel di questo calibro non abbia manutentori h 24 per risolvere tali situazioni e soprattutto che un hotel a 5 stelle non offra immediatamente un cambio stanza e non si prodighi nemmeno a trovare una soluzione. L'hotel è sempre molto bello, ben tenuto e pregno di storia, ma, per l'esperienza personale che ho avuto, credo che la gestione stia vivendo di rendita per la maestosità della struttura e stia però perdendo quello che è l'abc dell'Ospitalità e Cura del Cliente. Peccato!!!!

I visited this medical Spa without a hotel reservation, in order to get some relaxation, treatment and other possible activates that may be beneficial for the body and health. it was June 2023 after I found the castle Spa closed. I spoke to the reception who told me that they don't have any medical offers like the castle spa, but they only treat the patients that staying at the hotel depending on the condition they came for. Anyway, they allowed me to enter the medical spa and see what possible procedure I can have. They choose for me 6 procedures as per the availability and don't need a doctor consultation. I remember 3 of them which were… Thai massage – Oxygen therapy – Bubbly Magnesium bath.. In additional to use the Sauna, steam and swimming pool. I regretted not getting the two-hour Thai massage session available in the designated Thai shops within the town, along with all the other services attached to it. it will be better, comfortable and satisfaction.
