Hotel in zona Boukodai Observatory, Kanazawa

Location: very conveniently located right besides the bus stop for buses back and forth from Kanazawa station as well as other major touristy spots. But even walking wise everything including Kenrokuen garden, Kanazawa castle, the famous districts & also just 2-3 min walk to Omiya shrine Hotel & Room standard: Elegantly classy and very contemporary rooms. Size was also pretty good and comfortable enough for 2 people for standard room. Room amenities are also very good and the Public bath at top also looks quite fancy. Staff service: Was very very impressed with the staff service. I think everyone spoke & understood basic English to assist with any questions. Furthermore they even have great personalised hotel brochures for restaurants and spots nearby the hotel and what cuisine each offered which I found very helpful. Overall an easy 5/5 stay

Questo hotel è molto nuovo, è stato aperto appena nel febbraio 2020. Mi è davvero piaciuto il mio soggiorno qui. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile. Era molto pulito. Colazione era molto buono, ma solo stile giapponese. Ho soggiornato nella camera gemella superiore al 9° piano e era una bella e grande stanza. La TV è molto grande, ma e questo è l'unico punto è critica, offre solo canali giapponesi. La posizione è anche molto buona, tutte le attrazioni di Kanazawa a piedi. Puoi anche camminare facilmente dalla stazione, circa 15 minuti. In generale, un hotel molto bello e io li scelgo di nuovo per un soggiorno.

Un dinosauro ti accoglierà alla reception. Tuttavia, tutto ciò che devi fare è effettuare il check-in e il check-out seguendo il monitor touch panel. Accanto alla camera è presente anche un telefono che può essere utilizzato per contattare il personale, che uscirà immediatamente dalla sala d'attesa sul retro. La sala è piuttosto ordinaria rispetto all'eccentricità del ricevimento. È ancora relativamente nuovo e pulito. La colazione a buffet comprendeva curry di Kanazawa e oden di Kanazawa.

Grass service! Friendly welcome staff. Unlimited free Saki after 3pm. Stayed there during the new year. And experienced earthquake on January 1st 2024. Staff was very professional about it. And evacuated everyone fast. Hotel did not collapse! :)

Excellent location at 5min walk from dKanazawa station. Menya Taiga ramen shop is directly across the street and a few eating places are located along the way. The room is clean and refreshed everyday and the bath house is located in the North block at level 2. It would be excellent if the breakfast hours ends at 10 instead of 9.30AM. And three pax room is a little tight for three adult with three luggage. For those who enjoys walking, omicho market, Kanazawa castle, kenrokuen garden, Higashi Chaya district are all easy to walk to from the hotel.

Sembra un hotel a 5 stelle, ma costa come un hotel a 4 stelle. La stanza è abbastanza spaziosa, perché hanno un divano a bovindo aggiuntivo e anche una postazione di lavoro accanto al letto matrimoniale. La stanza e il suo bagno con servizi igienici annessi sono nuovi e puliti e tutto funziona. Hanno persino un de mister incorporato nello specchio del bagno! Il personale dell'hotel è molto disponibile, anche se parla poco inglese. Un ulteriore vantaggio sono i bagni Onsen unisex pubblici gratuiti (separati per uomini e donne rispettivamente in L3 e L2), che ho usato ogni sera per alleviare i miei muscoli doloranti dopo un'intera giornata fuori. Un altro punto a favore è la sua posizione vicino alla stazione di Kanazawa (quasi completamente raggiungibile tramite un passaggio sotterraneo dalla stazione all'hotel) ed è vicino anche al 7-11, ai principali centri commerciali e ai ristoranti intorno alla stazione di Nagoya. Consiglio vivamente questo posto pagando un sovrapprezzo leggermente più alto per un'esperienza di alloggio indimenticabile a Kanazawa!

Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We chose Nikko Kanazawa because of its proximity to the train station. Hotel Nikko is actually Kanazawa’s tallest building, designed by a Japanese-French team. Rooms located on 21st-25th floors have beautiful views. Nikko is connected to the Higashi ( eastern) side of the station by the underground passageway through the Porter building. Our room at the 21st floor was large, clean and modern with a fantastic view over the city towards the Sea of Japan. It was very relaxing at the end of the day to sit in arm chairs and watch the sunset. Service was excellent. We found a good restaurant on the sixth floor of the Forus shopping center adjacent to the train station (on the right if you look at the eastern entrance to the station through the giant Torii gate). The name is Morimorizushi Kanazawa Ekimae-ten (sushi), you can't miss it - there will be people on the benches waiting outside. The line goes fast, just don't forget to take your ticket at the entrance. This hi-tech kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi joint is a fantastic place for excellent sushi at reasonable price. It is only 4-5 min. from Hotel Nikko and on rainy day you can reach it by the underground passage. We liked Hotel Nikko and would stay here again.

This hotel seems like it has lost its glory. The pictures make it seem like a nice view is guaranteed, but the lobby (where the photos are taken from) is on the top floor. Also, the cooling function of the airconditioning is turned off, meaning you must open the window at night - a nightmare given the trains passing by. The entrance is also in a back alley and not that close to the station as it seems. I think there are much better hotels in Kanazawa.

La stanza era più grande di quanto ci aspettavamo.Vorrei tornare indietro in un futuro prossimo. Si trova vicino alla stazione e la stazione stessa ha molti negozi e ristoranti!
