We stayed here for a spring break getaway combined with a dance competition. We had a room next door to friends we were traveling with, so I appreciated that they worked to have us near each other. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good (better than many other hotels). The room itself was nice - couch that could be pulled out to a bed - we didn't need the extra bed, but the couch was actually pretty comfy. Lots of shelving/storage since it's considered for extended stay. Full size fridge. Staff was generally very friendly and helpful. The cons - Hilton honors points only accrues at half the rate - I didn't realize this ahead of time and it isn't a problem with the hotel but rather the brand. Disappointing because I really thought this was about to become my preferred hotel within the brand for family travel. We also had some people at the hotel who were smoking **** at the hotel (legal in Illinois) but it stunk and even would travel through vents to other rooms. They did put signs on doors reminding of the non-smoking policy, but it felt like we were going to get charged for smoking when we weren't rather than addressing the issue at the source (and you could narrow down the source by walking through halls!) I assume this isn't a regular issue, so would consider staying here again because the hotel itself was very nice. Especially helpful if you are traveling with family because the rooms are large.

Sto fermando in questo luogo per una notte. Camera pulita, bella. Il cibo era buono al ristorante e il servizio era eccellente. Doveva essere in piedi e sulla strada prima del giorno dopo. C’era un matrimonio all’hotel quella notte e la loro festa continuava sotto la mia stanza fuori al focolaio. È stata svegliata alle 1:45, con voce alta che pensavo fossero alla porta. È stata la festa al focolaio, 5 piani sotto. Pensavo che potesse andare a finire alle 2:40. Ho finalmente chiamato il dipartimento di fronte a lamentarmi. Ruby al dipartimento mi ha detto che non era al corrente di questo e che andava a dire loro di fermarsi. Alle 4:40 non c'erano segni che la festa fosse finita. Poiché non riuscivo a dormire, mi sono alzato e alle 6:15 quando sono uscito, c'erano ancora 8 persone nel pozzo del fuoco con un caso di Bud Light che continuava a festeggiare. Le canne di garbage si sgorgavano. Nessuno gli diceva di andarsene, quindi perché dovrebbero smettere? Per $269/night, questo non è quello che mi aspettavo.Se prenoti questo IHG, consiglio fortemente di avere una stanza sul lato opposto dell'edificio e sul 5° piano.

Sono felice! Non ero sicuro di andare perché il Super 8 vicino a noi non è troppo grande, ma i letti erano comodi, le mutandine erano buone. Una decorazione aggiornata, anche piaceva i colori, cortine e letti diffusi. Ma forse la parte migliore è molto specifica a questo luogo: siamo arrivati tardi, alle 11:30 di notte, dopo essere sulla strada per 7 1/2 ore. Cinque di noi nel nostro gruppo. Ci è stato promesso una stanza che dormirebbe 5, che non hanno in realtà più di 4 camere da letto. La gente del desk ci ha fatto bene, ci ha dato una stanza supplementare gratuita perché volevano farla bene e non volevano che ci facessero uscire a quel tempo della notte per cercare di trovare un posto che aveva camere da ospitare cinque. Siamo così grati e felici di dare una visione brillante!

My awful experience started when trying to call to book a room. There’s literally no way to just call and get the front desk. Instead I’m forwarded to their call center where someone tried suggestive selling no less than a dozen separate things to me. This was a room for my dads wedding as a place to crash. What should have been a quick call turned into 30 minutes of flowery words and the slowest service I’ve ever had. Were they polite? Absolutely. But it shouldn’t take so long for one booking. My aunt booked a room that smelled like pee. The manager said they didn’t smell anything, but when my aunt returned to the room, one of the couch cushions was ‘mysteriously’ gone. Did they get a discount? Nope. They got the $17 resort fee removed and that’s all. The remote on my tv was also dead, and no one answered the front desk the three times I called to get new batteries. When I checked out and mentioned it, the desk attendant made it seem like my fault for not going downstairs to face to face talk to someone for the batteries. The hotel is dingy, outdated to the point that the carpets look like 80’s roller rink carpeting, and the phone system is the single worst set up program I’ve ever experienced in my life. $350 for a total dump. I’d rather stay in a motel 8 next time.

Sono rimasto in una proprietà prima di Natale e non sono mai rimasto in una proprietà dove il GM è stato così visibile durante il nostro soggiorno. Ho soggiornato 5 notti all'hotel e lo vidi parlare ogni mattina con un ospite della zona del colazione e ho parlato con lui tutti i 5 giorni e ricordo sempre quello che gli ho detto dal giorno precedente. Il personale riflette il suo leadership e vorrei poterlo rubare alla mia azienda perché vedo prima di tutto quanto si preoccupa della proprietà e dei suoi dipendenti. L'assistente di ufficio che ho controllato all'interno e all'esterno è stato molto amichevole anche durante la sua spiegazione sulle restrizioni COVID all'hotel. Anche se questa proprietà è a seguito di restrizioni, il personale sembra andare fuori dal loro modo per piacere ai loro ospiti. Un posto migliore per soggiornare in un hotel pieno di Marriott dove si è solo un nome su una schermata per loro.

Overall good experience. Overnight for business. Located in decent area. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a ground floor room facing the parking lot - away from interstate. Room was clean and quiet. We did notice a stain on our secondary blanket after it was turned back. It was small and dark - looked like a dried blood stain. We removed the blanket and inspected the rest of the bed and it was very clean. In the early a.m. We experienced a brief but horrible sewer smell coming from our bathroom. But no other issues. In room coffee pack sucks - pretty horrible tasting. Bring your own if you can.

Nessun frittelle, niente fancy qui. Hotel standard pulito vicino a I-80. E 'un luogo per fare doccia, dormire, avere un po' di colazione e lasciare. C'è una palestra, non ricordo se c'è una piscina (in caso si sia in quella). Molti posti per pranzo e cena, tra cui un ristorante di buon stile pub, proprio intorno al parcheggio. I prezzi sono equi. Mentre la mia famiglia e io avevamo colazione al mattino del 21 agosto, c'era una conversazione sul tavolo accanto a noi. Era tra il proprietario e/o il direttore dell'hotel e il contraente che faceva il lavoro di riparazione per lui. Era chiaro che il proprietario/gestore rifiutava di pagare al contraente, e durante questa conversazione era chiaro che il proprietario/gestore rifiutava parzialmente l'accordo. Il contrattuale chiedeva solo un pagamento parziale che il proprietario/gestore gli aveva promesso e ora non pagherà. Non sbagliate, abbiamo sentito tutta la conversazione. Ci sentivamo male per il contrattuale il cui equipaggio sembrava fare un buon lavoro. Siamo stati lì per 4 giorni e 3 notti e il lavoro in corso non ci ha fatto alcun male per il nostro soggiorno. Non credo che resterò lì ancora, anche quanto il nostro soggiorno, e quanto piacevole il personale. Devo anche informare Marriott di questo incidente. Penso che dovrebbero saperlo. Non cercare di spiegarmi questa situazione. Non dovrebbe mai accadere davanti agli ospiti.

My awful experience started when trying to call to book a room. There’s literally no way to just call and get the front desk. Instead I’m forwarded to their call center where someone tried suggestive selling no less than a dozen separate things to me. This was a room for my dads wedding as a place to crash. What should have been a quick call turned into 30 minutes of flowery words and the slowest service I’ve ever had. Were they polite? Absolutely. But it shouldn’t take so long for one booking. My aunt booked a room that smelled like pee. The manager said they didn’t smell anything, but when my aunt returned to the room, one of the couch cushions was ‘mysteriously’ gone. Did they get a discount? Nope. They got the $17 resort fee removed and that’s all. The remote on my tv was also dead, and no one answered the front desk the three times I called to get new batteries. When I checked out and mentioned it, the desk attendant made it seem like my fault for not going downstairs to face to face talk to someone for the batteries. The hotel is dingy, outdated to the point that the carpets look like 80’s roller rink carpeting, and the phone system is the single worst set up program I’ve ever experienced in my life. $350 for a total dump. I’d rather stay in a motel 8 next time.

Sono rimasto in una proprietà prima di Natale e non sono mai rimasto in una proprietà dove il GM è stato così visibile durante il nostro soggiorno. Ho soggiornato 5 notti all'hotel e lo vidi parlare ogni mattina con un ospite della zona del colazione e ho parlato con lui tutti i 5 giorni e ricordo sempre quello che gli ho detto dal giorno precedente. Il personale riflette il suo leadership e vorrei poterlo rubare alla mia azienda perché vedo prima di tutto quanto si preoccupa della proprietà e dei suoi dipendenti. L'assistente di ufficio che ho controllato all'interno e all'esterno è stato molto amichevole anche durante la sua spiegazione sulle restrizioni COVID all'hotel. Anche se questa proprietà è a seguito di restrizioni, il personale sembra andare fuori dal loro modo per piacere ai loro ospiti. Un posto migliore per soggiornare in un hotel pieno di Marriott dove si è solo un nome su una schermata per loro.
