Hotel in zona Dreams Studio, Johor Bahru

Siamo regolari al resort KSL ma questa volta intorno (torre 1) è stato davvero deludente come gli ospiti tornano. La porta del bagno era difettosa, non era nemmeno la corretta idoneità (porta al quadro) non può nemmeno chiudere. Quando il manutentore venne, si abbatteva letteralmente la porta, e questa era la risoluzione per la sua! Inoltre, l'acqua si saponeva dal pavimento del bagno e si annoiava solo a salire su un bagno bagnato. Il giorno 2, abbiamo realizzato con la “chiusura della forza” della porta del bagno, il tetto è stato trovato “sgombrare”. Seriamente la posizione è innegabilemente buona, ma le loro camere hanno bisogno di una buona rivamp, altrimenti non dovrebbe essere rilasciato per la prenotazione.

Stay at your own risk!!!!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Terrible stay at Holiday Villa hotel - we checked in the hotel at around 8 plus and expected the room should be ready by this time since the official check-in time is 3pm. To our horror, the room assigned to us is faulty as the aircon is not working and I felt dizzy due to lacking of air circulation since all windows are fully closed. We contacted the reception and they sent up a technician to fix the issue. He told us that the aircon panel is spoiled and needs to be replaced (at such a late hour). It took quite a while for the replacement and we are already very tired and hoping to wash up and rest immediately upon check-in after a long day travelling. The reception told us that they’ll arrange for room change next day but nothing has happened. In addition, the room attendant has entered our room (with his own card) without even knocking or notifying us in advance. He immediately close the door and walks away after seeing us. This is really terrible and rude!! Think twice before saying at this hotel which is totally dangerous esp for female guests.

Capri is just directly behind the custom and there was a massive jam just to drive to the hotel. Just a 5 mins drive took me 1hr plus to turn to the hotel. The carpark is a maze. Even with directions, you would be confused. The room was clean just that that's a pungent smell in the toilet - literally a smell of a baby spoiled diapers in Room 1001. Feedback upon checked out. Hope they do something to it. There isn't anything to eat, so you will have to drive out to eat each time. Unless you don't mind the cafeteria downstairs. Otherwise be prepared to hit the jam over and over again. Highly likely will not stay over at Capri again due to the location.

Absolutely liked everything about this Hotel. Starting from The efficient thing check in/check out process.All Hotel staff are very friendly,accommodating helpful, approachable, attentive and always going extra miles. We appreciated it thank you so much . The hotel room had a relaxing and comfortable vibes. Very clean spacious for 3 of us and homy feeling and stunning view. Loved the central location and within walking distance to any popular spot. Highly recommend it.Make us keep coming back to here for sure! Thank you!

Fives Hotel Meldrum is a newly opened property in October 2023. It is 850m by walk from Johor Bahru Customs. To get to the hotel, you would need to use the link bridge near the customs that leads to R&F Mall. Just before reaching the mall, head down from the bridge and walk towards the direction of Grand Blue Wave Hotel (GBW). The property is located beside the back of GBW. A 24hrs security personnel is stationed at the main entrance of the hotel. Upon my arrival, the Front Desk Staff had requested a RM200 deposit for my check in registration. The rooms are situated from the first to ten floors. There is no fourth level in this building. I was accommodated in a Standard Queen Room (No. 311). Although the room offers a window, it faces the wall of a building. There is an ongoing construction site located beside the hotel, which I perceived to last for another year or more. Unfortunately, the construction noise is audible which only ended at 10pm during my weekday stay. I later approached the Night Manager and paid a RM40 upgrade to stay in a Standard King Room with no window (No. 308). There is no noise as this room is located in the middle section of the building. Local, Singapore TV and Malaysian radio station channels are available for entertainment in the room. The SMART TV also offers Netflix and YouTube. There are two USB charging ports and three power sockets for your mobile device charging needs. The air-conditioner functions well and keeps the room cool. Shower gel, shampoo with conditioner, toothbrush and paste are provided. The shower head is fixed to the bathroom wall. I found the water pressure to be acceptable, but the temperature is lukewarm. A-lar carte breakfast is offered at RM25 per person, though I did not consume my breakfast at the property. Nearby the hotel, there are several coffeeshops located behind a public carpark that serve breakfast. Among them is Restoran Ah Bee Bak Kut Teh (Pork Ribs Soup) which is a popular eatery among the locals. There are also convenience stores and halal eateries located within walking distance from the hotel. Connoisseur Food Generation, a trendy food court is situated a 5-min walk from the hotel. This place has many food stalls that offer a wide variety of cuisine. There is also live band during my dining there. Whilst the location may not be perfect, Fives Hotel Meldrum is great for those who are seeking something new and an affordable stay in Johor Bahru.

The hotel was located in a rather quiet place of JB. Need to travel a distance around to get to the hotel. The room was a decent size and cosy. There are limited TV channels and foods in the breakfast which are areas which I think can improve on. The hotel also provides pick up from Holiday Inn Hotel near JB City Square (In pic 2) to their hotel at limited timing. Last but not least, the walls are thin (in pic 1), so if you are a light sleeper, this hotel is not the one for you. Overall for a non crowded hotel, the hotel is not bad for just a short period of stay.

Very very good! This unit exceeded our expectation! My photos taken after our stay, sorry it doesn’t do much justice because my young kids didn’t have the chance to take photos upon arrival. The Good: - Very clean!! No insects. - Renovations like hotel! - Smells good. - Towel provided good quality and clean - Provided disposable toothbrush, shower cap, comb, slippers and shaver like hotel standard. - Provided 6 bottles of bottled water - Cold aircon - Clean bedding - Nice and peaceful view - Good security - Blackout curtains - Very responsive service, just WhatsApp and will respond almost immediately and it’s 24/7 on standby. - Allowed early check in For improvement: - pillows too soft, the adults including myself woke up with some stiff neck. - Security abit troublesome but is needed. - Mobile reception for my Malaysia line is very very weak but can detect and use my Singapore line instead. - Very weak wifi in the room when doors are close, can’t load videos. Overall I love it and will return. Just hope they’ll improve on pillows.

Un appartamento molto bello e pulito! Host era molto comprensibile perché l'app forniva in modo errato un check-in precoce alle 10 per noi, (osservi che il check-in in tempo sarà alla standard 3pm), ma ha rapidamente pulito dopo l'ospite precedente ha lasciato e ha provato il suo meglio per lasciarci controllare in asap. view Bene, tutto è stato come descritto, TV ha netflix e youtube per noi di guardare :) tutto è stato pulito e in buone condizioni in generale! solo che, come menzionato da altre recensioni, Quando si accede, chiamali invece di aspettare che rispondano per via di testo perché devono venire a casa per ricevervi.Abbiamo chiamato e sono arrivati immediatamente, quindi non ci sono problemi :)

Una scelta appropriata per grandi famiglie o gruppi di amici, il personale è stato responsabile e utile, affrontando immediatamente le preoccupazioni circa le lamiere di letto sporche e i pavimenti polverosi, sostituendo le foglie il giorno successivo. Tuttavia, vi è spazio per migliorare: lavaggio delle mani nelle zone igienico-sanitarie, aumento della pressione idrica in tutte le camere da bagno e ampliamento dell'accesso alle strutture, come molti erano riservati ai proprietari.
