Jamestown: hotel a 2 stelle

They messed up our room reservations, and this is not the first time they did so. Upon questioning the front desk clerk, she said well “we don’t save rooms“. I said that’s exactly what you do with the reservation. A reservation is saving a room. They gave us two rooms. They just weren’t connecting like they were supposed to be, kind of reminds me of that commercial where you had to see your kids across the window. Anyway, the front desk clerk accuse me of being rude and threaten to throw me out. The problem is, I had called and made reservations with the IGH concierge service and we had a three-way call with the hotel staff. She the said we would never promise you Connecting rooms. I said that’s not true. I had a three-way phone call and I was told I would get connecting rooms. Anyways, this isn’t The first time I rented at the Holiday Inn for family the last time I had a horrible experience and the manager said please give us a second chance. Well, Manager this was your second chance and you blew it again. I would tell everybody in anybody do not stay there stay at the Hilton or anywhere else, but not at the holiday inn Jamestown. also the pool was dirty and cold. They said it was heated, but it clearly wasn’t.

La stanza era molto pulita e i letti erano comodi. Animali amici e buon spazio per non sentirsi condannati come una famiglia nella suite King con letto da divano. Il personale era super amichevole. Quando ho appreso che questo hotel è stato ristrutturato per l'ultima volta nel 2018 mi sono sconvolto. Il luogo ha certamente bisogno di un po' di tec, soprattutto nelle aree comuni. Piastrelle nell'ascensore rotte o mancanti. Carpette di Hallway sono state completamente sgombrate. L'esterno delle porte del lato nord ha un divario di dimensioni piuttosto buone al fondo - abbastanza grande per chi sa cosa scorrere. Tuttavia, la linea di fondo è che la stanza era pulita. Dato quanto è difficile trovare un hotel pulito e amichevole per gli animali domestici, prenderò i problemi delle aree comuni come un sottoprodotto. Rimanerei ancora una volta, poiché questa è la migliore opzione che abbiamo trovato lungo I-90 ovest di New York. Si', è circa trenta minuti da I-90, ma abbiamo provato ogni altro hotel amico di animali domestici sulla spiaggia e sono vecchi e sporchi. Quindi questo è stato un hotel molto benvenuto pulito.

I was so pleasantly surprised because some views had me worried about the location and hotel. I usually don't stay in the middle of towns on my cross country business trips. But I decided to stay directly downtown. Wow, the hotel was spotless, the area and parking was perfect. The staff was welcoming and helpful. My worries were put to rest straight away when I checked in and I spent 3 nights over the weekend. It was a great choice to stay here between my NY and OH business weeks.
