Non appena sono entrato nella hall, sono stato attratto dallo stile decorativo antico. Ciò che è stato ancora più sorprendente è stato il fatto che fossero forniti dei bellissimi costumi antichi. Zhang Mingyu ha detto che avrei potuto scattare foto e registrarmi gratuitamente, il che ha realizzato il mio sogno di indossare costumi antichi. Ha anche preso l'iniziativa di aiutarmi a scattare foto e i risultati sono stati sorprendenti!
Anche al momento del check-in, il servizio offerto da Xiao Zhang alla reception è stato molto premuroso. Non solo mi hanno preparato rapidamente una stanza, ma hanno anche preso l'iniziativa di chiedere al cameriere di mettere gli articoli monouso che avevo portato con me e di pulirli con cura con salviette disinfettanti. Questa operazione meticolosa mi ha fatto sentire subito al sicuro e al caldo.
La stanza era calda e confortevole, con tutti i comfort necessari. L'ambiente tranquillo mi ha permesso di dormire bene. Inoltre, mi ha aiutato a chiamare un taxi quando sono andato al tempio di Linyin la mattina. Questa esperienza di soggiorno è stata fantastica. Lo Shuxiang Shijia Hotel sarà sicuramente la mia prima scelta la prossima volta che viaggerò!

WWandering TouristLa mia stanza ha un odore di sigarette che è relativamente normale per la Cina, MA! Ho chiesto una stanza senza fumare, ma c'è un asciugamano, quando volevo fare la mia lavanderia mi dicono che lo faranno e lo mandano nella mia stanza. Più di 12 ore dopo, il mio lavandino non era ancora stato inviato alla mia stanza. Ci vuole un'ora per correre un ciclo normale, e quasi due ore per asciugare con calore basso. Perché ci vuole tre volte il tempo? E il bagno non era pulito, questi specchi marroni.

This place is designed for the 'gram, not the 3000 RMB/night experience. The room is beautiful, you've seen that already, but here's my genuine experience that I hope helps set your expectations.
Overall, bare minimum service. There is no proper front desk reception, and I had to remind them to set up the butler group chat the day before arrival because there were no instructions. Upon arrival, the main door was locked. Someone eventually came and brought my luggage up to the room, and that was it. No friendly chats, no personal touch, no estate introduction or tour, no other instructions, just a few pre-set WeChat images. The butler is quite responsive on chat but often provides incomplete answers.
Service at breakfast was cold. No one welcomes you when you walk in, and there was no proper introduction to what was available. There was only one staff member at breakfast. He eventually came over and asked which main dish I'd like. There was no mention of Western vs. Chinese options until I overheard someone else's order. Most of the time he was standing at the kitchen entrance using his phone loudly, which made it hard to get his attention. The loud phone noise made the experience quite unpleasant, as I was hoping for a relaxing, quiet breakfast.
Food options are very limited for a solo traveller. I ordered ******* for every lunch and dinner. I was quite hungry in the late afternoon and looking forward to the savory snacks in the afternoon tea set. I ordered them to my room and was told the ”chef had a family emergency” and could not prepare the fries and popcorn chicken, though I later saw someone else having the complete set in the lobby. :/
I saw another review a few months back giving feedback that there was no floor mat near the hot tub area. Even though they always respond to negative reviews the same way, saying they will improve, the problem was unfortunately not fixed. You only have one floor mat at the shower area and have to remember to bring it across the room to the hot tub area, or you'll be dripping wet on a slippery floor when you exit the tub.
Soundproofing is bad. There is a road right next to the room, and you can hear occasional cars passing by. During my stay, farmers were harvesting bamboo, and you could hear the loud truck engines (which sounded like excavators) and them talking loudly. Mad respect for farmers, just highlighting the downside of the location that you dont see in the nice photos.
The whole experience was strange because it felt like other guests were there for photoshoot over an actual hotel stay experience. You could see beautifully dressed ladies posing at every corner of the estate. Nothing wrong with that, just not something I'm used to.
The experience is not without positives. The room I stayed in 【云渌】 had an insanely beautiful view, which was what I came for. It directly faces the bamboo forest and mountains. On good days, you'll probably be able to see a nice sunset. The room was clean and had great, thoughtful amenities, including Le Labo toiletries, a small pack of laundry detergent, eye masks, earplugs, and a Dyson hairdryer, to name a few. I also loved the huge private balcony it came with.
I was really looking forward to this stay, but coming from another 民宿 I absolutely enjoyed, the service here was a stark contrast. This place has so much potential if they could brush up on the professionalism of the service crew to match the aesthetic and pricetag. I sincerely wish them well and hope the service can be improved.

UUtente ospiteLa doccia in hotel non è molto comoda Anche se ci sono altre stanze, l'acqua calda deve aspettare a lungo, quindi è molto scomoda! Quindi il primo giorno ho fatto una doccia fredda. Per fortuna faceva molto caldo, altrimenti sarei impazzita🤣
Inoltre, il design del lato della vasca da bagno era leggermente difettoso, quindi quando sono entrato per fare il bagno mi sono tagliato il piede.
L'hotel ha pochi servizi, ma per fortuna ci sono alcune attività, tè, campane tibetane, e gli insegnanti sono molto gentili e attenti, quindi l'intera esperienza è molto bella!
Ciò che mi ha colpito profondamente di questo hotel è stato il fatto che ogni personale di servizio mi ha accolto con un sorriso e il servizio è stato molto buono, specialmente uno staff di servizio di nome Xiaoxia era molto attento! Dalla prima volta che ho prenotato una camera con loro fino all'ultima volta che è successo qualcosa dopo il check-in, mi ha aiutato con le questioni successive il prima possibile! Ho scherzato e ho detto loro che per fortuna il loro servizio era davvero buono, altrimenti avrei lasciato una recensione negativa per questo hotel😄

Innanzitutto, il servizio alla reception è stato eccellente; mi hanno chiamato in anticipo per chiedere l'orario approssimativo del mio check-in. La camera era spaziosa per due persone e il materasso aveva la giusta rigidità; mi sono sentito a mio agio il giorno dopo. La zona intorno all'hotel è piuttosto vivace, il che rende facile trovare cibo e i trasporti sono relativamente comodi. Se avrò l'opportunità di soggiornare di nuovo, spero che sia come sempre.
Un piccolo suggerimento: personalmente ho trovato l'avviso accanto all'interruttore dell'aria condizionata un po' fuorviante.

JJess Tang HSL'hotel è situato in un'ottima posizione. Ho apprezzato la posizione comoda, vicino al Lago dell'Ovest e alla via dello shopping. VVivienne WLThe hotel is very clean. Right outside on the main road, there are plenty of open-air barbecue stalls. They stay open until 4:00 AM, so you never have to worry about getting hungry. The airport transfer can be booked in advance, which is super convenient.

UUtente ospiteSuper fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle.
Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel.
There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set.
The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors.
The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai.
The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups.
The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day.
The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi.
Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.
