I have stayed many times at this hotel on prior trips to Jaisalmer (with my son also) but this time visited as a guest to enjoy the amazing rooftop and restaurant. Run by the very friendly and helpful Dev, Shahi Palace is a solid budget hotel. Most rooms are large and furnished with local textiles. The hotel really does have the best rooftop in Jaisalmer. You can relax on one of the balconies, enjoy some food and drinks from the restaurant and admire the amazing view to the Fort. Worth a stay even if it is to have a meal and enjoy the view.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Jaisalmer.This is the best hotel in Jaisalmer. Best in the hotel in hotel rooftop.❤️

I booked shahi palace hotel Jaisalmer after searching on online I am happy that booked this place , everything was as I read . The rooms and service was excellent even thought it's offseason and and it's hot . The manager and owner take good care of there guest . The hotel is made old style haveli and have beautiful decorated different in every room . The rooftop terrace not to be missed ,it has really very good views of Jaisalmer for which I just like to keep looking .... Oneof the evening I was looking and enjoying till 2am with friends... I will definately coming back in winter .

My second visit to Jaisalmer and first time stay at shahi palace hotel ,even thought it's off season and heat but I enjoyed my stay and enjoyed the best part of the hotel which is roof top . We stay till late night on the roof top and enjoy the Jaisalmer fort views and cool fresh air . The owner Devilal have us company and made our travel plan . The rooms are well kept and beautiful decorative walls with Jaisalmer fabrics.

Beautiful place located in a quiet area with an amazing view to the fort from the rooftop. The rooms are a piece of art, staff and owner are helpful, genuine and super friendly. They also organize different tours, transport etc. and have precious tips for your entire stay. Highly recommend!

Hotel Shahi Palace is a beautiful place with welcoming staff and an alluring energy. A ride was arranged for me from the Jodhpur airport and my driver was so kind, and even stopped to get me my first cup of authentic chai. Upon arrival I immediately felt welcomed by Devilal and the others, and was amazed at the beauty of this palace and city. The architecture and style of this building is unique and filled with gorgeous details. The rooms are comfortable and cool, with large fans and AC to keep you comfortable in the heat. The food is delicious and the view from the rooftop restaurant area makes it an even more delightful experience. Highly recommend checking out this gem of a hotel in the Golden City!

I stayed at hotel shahi palace during my Rajsthan trip in Jaisalmer. The hotel owner Devilal made good arrangements for my visit , he managed the pick up and given good welcome . My room was nice . The hotel is well decorated with Rajasthani style and it looks beautiful on walls . Jaisalmer is a beautiful city with all houses made of jaisalmer sand stone and the same Shahi palace is also used as the sand stone on the walls and floor as well. The roof top of hotel is very beautiful, that's meeting point and meeting people from all over the world and sharing the tea or coffee with travel stories. I will definitely visit again in future
