Hotel vicini a Northern Meeting Park a Inverness

Nothing was too much trouble, Requested another duvet, as I wasn’t feeling very well this was not a problem, then had to book another night unexpectedly and was given the same room. So no packing up to swap rooms. Very helpful.

I've been coming to this hotel for around 20 years, initially on business and now for leisure, and I visit every few years. In that time not much has changed, apart from the ownership. The hotel is still a beautiful building set in tranquil and wonderful grounds. The downstairs interior is stately and is tastefully decorated with an elegant bar, Lounge and Restaurant. Staff on Reception are polite and helpful But the hotel isn't without its issues which are 1) The bedroom furniture has been the same on every visit over the last 20 years and is showing its age 2) The carpet in the room we were given was actually threadbare in places and isn't what you expect 3) The lady waiting tables at breakfast is a joy. She is attentive, polite and helpful. The same cannot be said of the older gentleman working there who is ignorant and ignores people waiting to be seated. There is no need to be so rude and dismissive of people of all nationalities who are basically paying his wages ! 4) My biggest grumble of all is the lack of a premium lager in the hotel bar. Under previous management in the early 2000's they used to stock 1664 but now it's Carling (yuk!), Guinness, Scots ale or Cider. I would have spent a lot more time in there had they stocked better beer. That's a real own goal and other guests are of the same opinion.

When I booked the hotel, I made sure the gent who took the call understood the night we would stay would be our wedding night. We booked the hotel as it is allegedly a 5 star hotel. A 5 star hotel, according to Which has these features, with relation to the staff and facilities. All staff demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to help (1 star) Good guest service and staff should provide prompt, courteous and efficient service (3 star) Very good social skills and anticipation of individual guests' needs evident (4 star) Higher staffing levels (4 star) Staff should anticipate individual guests' needs to create unique and memorable experiences (5 star) We could not book the room with the hot tub, but, we plumped for the next room down, the decadent room. The image clearly shows a free standing bath and a very large walk in shower, and with this we booked the one night. When I arrived to check in, I was early, and the very nice lady gave me the paperwork and allowed me to sign up and leave my car in the car park. I asked about a potential upgrade and was told the hotel was full, so no chance of room movement. After we had had our wedding lunch in Inverness, we walked up to the hotel and checked into the room. There was no free standing bath, the walk in shower pressure was below average, no acknowledgement of our celebratory day or anything. But we had had a good meal and needed to rest after the day's exertions. The room overlooked the road, so we had to shut the windows. The aircon was operating well. Around 9pm, we decided to stretch our legs and go down to the bar and maybe get a sandwich. We witnessed one particularly trucculent female member of staff walk past us, not acknowledge us or even make space at the bar for us to sit. The lady behind the bar, I learned later, was the duty manager and she was making cocktails as the usual bar person was not in. I had to ask twice to get menus to order food from the trucculent one, but she ignored us and carried on filling drinks orders. The other member of staff couldnt actually serve drinks as she was only 16 We finally got our order placed and went to sit down. Now, I love the heat, having lived in the Sinai for 30 years, I enjoy the sensation, but the heating in the bar was oppressive. When our food turned up by the trucculent one, she plonked our plates down and walked off. My wife had ordered a salmon sandwich, which turned out pretty much as expected. I ordered a club sandwich. Mainly for the reason that this one was advertised with egg on it. A departure from a typical Club Sandwich and one of which I thought I would like What was presented to me was dripping in grease and the mayonnaise had made the bread all soggy and horrible. The egg had been fried in tainted oil and had a bitter after taste and had not been dabbed to remove the oil that was making the sandwich so un appealing. I had to leave half of it as the bread disintegrated and I was left with a gelatinous gooey mess

La camera è piccola, è meglio prenotare una grande camera con l'hotel per confermare la dimensione del letto. 1.8m è ancora 1.5m Uno alto deve anche confermare con l'hotel. Prendi nota del tipo di camera. Il viaggio ha prenotato due camere. Uno è nel centro dell'hotel, il tipo di camera è relativamente regolare, un altro è simile a un edificio di guaio, particolarmente inamiche per gli alti e i bambini.

Un'esperienza davvero deludente rispetto alle foto che mostrano sul loro sito web. Qui in business per quattro notti. La prima notte mi è stata assegnata una stanza con una porta di connessione, gli ospiti che si trovavano vicino all'hotel sono tornati intorno 11.30pm e hanno giocato a musica fino a 3am. Non credo che fossero così alti, ma assolutamente nessun suono che provasse in camera. Ho chiesto un cambio di camera, perché ho avuto chiamate riservate da fare, la ricezione mi ha rapidamente assegnato un altro posto, ma basandosi sulle aree di alloggio è solo un hotel molto stanco. Il ristorante ha un buon colazione e cibo, come il personale.

Stai bene.. colazione fantastica ...camera fantastica ...Letti erano comodi .. bagno era molto pulito ...Il personale era molto amichevole e utile.. utilizzato la piscina che non era troppo numerose persone che la usavano in un momento ....L'unico commento che farà è che la parte del mattone è stata tinturata con food.4/5rating per quella una ...tutto altra è stato molto pulito .che mattone avrebbe dovuto essere pulito ...
