Our recently renovated cottage is located on Tuki Tuki Road. Duck Inn has it's own private driveway, with ample parking. Room for boats and trailers. It is the perfect location to visit all that Hawkes Bay has to offer. 7 minutes to Te Awanga Beach (surfers paradise), Clearview and Elephant Hill. 15 mins to Havelock North, Hastings, Napier. 25 minutes to Waimarma Beach and 20 minutes to Ocean Beach. 20 Duck Inn is located in a beautiful, private rural setting. You will be over looking grape vines, ducks (of course) and the occasionally grazing sheep.Duck Inn has two roomy bedrooms, with Queen sized beds, plenty of storage/wardrobe space and french doors onto the large outside deck. On occasion witness a seal sunbathing or a pod of dolphins swimming out at sea.The Cape View Shed is a light filled space with open plan living/sleeping with a separate bathroom with twin Italian basins, one for washing dishes and one for personal hygiene both with modern gooseneck taps. Suited for maximum of two guests. The accommodation provides a queen size bed and a small single divan bed. Kitchenette with microwave and fridge only. Smart TV. External caravan plug. Macrocarpa decking areas are for your sole use as is the Weba BBQ. You are welcome to use the fire pit also. Two bikes are available on request at time of booking to explore the coast via the cycle paths. Approximately 700 metres to Elephant Hill winery. Also very close to Clearview and Te Awanga Estate Wineries. A two minute walk to the Brown Dog Coffee Cart, Four Square, Gannets Bar & Grill and Capeview takeaways. The accommodation also has the Cape View Cottage located on the site, being the owners private holiday home. The fact the Cape View Shed is excitingly close to the Pacific Ocean is the magic of the place. You will hear the sea and at times the sea can be wild. The outdoor areas are elevated above the stoney beach and are protected by a big sea wall which is a handy spot to fish from. A perfect stay for families or can accomodate three couples. Open planned living room with plenty of seating and large dining room (can seat 18 if requested). Spacious, modern kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, two fridges and a quiet rangehood (please use). Two bathrooms (one an ensuite), two separate toilets and laundry. Because we don't want you to think about a thing, you get to pack up and leave, as the cleaning is included in the price! A group of shops including: a famous coffee cart, small but well equipped supermarket, fabulous fish n' chip shop and local bar is only a 2 minute walk away. The home is located 11km from central Hastings, 15km to central Napier and 15km to Havelock North Village.Elephant Hill winery/restaurant is approximately 750 meters, Clearview winery/restaurant 2km and Hygge at Clifton Cafe some 5km at the end of the road.
