The room was spotlessly clean, well presented, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out was the service, we found the staff to be incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The little touches throughout our stay made it extra special, and we left feeling refreshed and very well looked after. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chester."

"Excellent location and just one minute walk from the central city centre; fab room service even with a kitchen as a great surprise; very friendly staff. Toiletries are of high quality and from the White Company brand. Really comfortable shower. The only thing is parking seems quite expensive to be £15 a day offered by a 3rd party company only rather than the hotel. Will return again for sure"

"The Mill Hotel & Spa is in an ideal location, just 5 minutes walk from Chester train station and the centre of Chester itself. So, what is a stay in this hotel like? I stayed in the Business Class Double room with a view of the canal. The room is a fair size, with the king size bed being very comfortable and clean. A big drawback for the room, however, is the lack of air conditioning facilities available. I stayed at the end of July, and whilst the outside wasn’t hot, the room itself was stuffy and opening the window didn’t really help too much. I can’t imagine what it would be like staying here in during a heatwave, which is becoming more common! The room also comes with decent tea and coffee making facilities, along with a desk for working. The bathroom is a good size, but it could do with a bit of cleaning. There are two shower nozzles - the smaller standard nozzle was fine but the rainfall shower nozzle was extremely dirty. It looks like it hasn’t been used in a while - and I’d recommend not using that particular shower if you stay here. The extractor fan vent is also very dusty and obviously hasn’t been cleaned in a while! Over to the spa facilities - they are nothing short of exceptional. This is the real draw when staying here, with the swimming pool and sauna being to an excellent standard. Use of the swimming pool and gym is free to all guests whilst staying here, so make good use of the facilities! I opted for the inclusion of breakfast during my stay, and I’d say it was ok rather than great. The amount of food available isn’t huge, though the likes of the croissants and cooked breakfast are to a good standard. As the hotel is in need of an update - it firmly feels like it’s stuck in the mid noughties - the hotel does excel in the standard of service provided to its customers. Whether that be from the cleaners, the reception staff or the waiting staff, everyone is smiling and friendly. It makes all the difference! Would I stay here again? Yes, I would. I hope they do update the rooms soon enough - they really do need air conditioning! And I also hope the bathrooms were thoroughly cleaned a little more. But everything else was to a good standard and for the price paid (£90 for two people with breakfast and spa facilities included), you can’t find much better than that!"

"Recentemente rimasto qui per 5 giorni. E’ una fantastica esperienza qui. Il personale è incredibilmente utile. Non ha ricevuto tutti i nomi del personale, ma Dave in particolare è stato estremamente utile e ha lasciato il suo cammino per assicurarsi che un paio di parcheggi siano stati ordinati immediatamente. La situazione del parcheggio è l'unica questione reale che avrei con l'hotel, poiché è un parcheggio piccolo e gli spazi sono in primo luogo arrivati, ma questo non mi impedirà di tornare. Le camere sono eccellenti e pulite senza punti di forza.A 10 minuti di cammino verso la città e bellissime passeggiate lungo il canale che corre accanto all'hotel. Se non vuoi che una sveglia rumorosa intorno 6.30am dalla musica di giochi sotto resti lontano dalle camere di primo piano, anche se questo non ci ha disturbato al minimo, perché eravamo felici di essere in anticipo"

"Asked for housekeeping to be done when we left the hotel. The only thing done was new teabags were placed in the room and new towels were put in. The bed was not made, the room was not tidied, new mugs and glasses were not put in the room. Very disappointing. Called twice but reception was busy, so we settled for a room that had not been attended to properly. Disappointing."

"Excellent service from reception when we arrived to Raffael in the bar/restaurant and all the other staff were helpful and cheerful. Food was excellent, we had a full meal one night and bar snacks the following night and everything was tasty and well presented."

"L'hotel Oddfellows è stato facile da accedere, ma avrebbe aiutato a avere l'indirizzo esatto dell'appartamento in anticipo, così potremmo parcheggiare più facilmente. L'appartamento 5 era in alto e molto spazioso. Il soggiorno/cucina/cina era ben strutturato e il tè e il caffè disponibile erano molto benvenuti. Camere e bagni erano grandi, confortevoli e puliti (ma potevano essere fatti con qualche gancio per asciugamani o cappotti). C'è anche una lavanderia. Decof è chicco e la posizione è grande - proprio dalle strade principali. Favoloso luogo per soggiornare."
