UUtente ospiteHo scelto Park Plaza come convenienza sia per la stazione ferroviaria che per l'aeroporto. Il prezzo è stato anche un ottimo valore per i soldi. Il mio treno da Lhasa è arrivato al 6.30am e ho preso un taxi a poca distanza dal parco Plaza senza alcuna emissione. Ho controllato alle 7:00 e ho visto la mia stanza. Era bella, molto spaziosa con una grande finestra, e aveva anche un bagno libero. Purtroppo, potrei profumare il fumo di sigarette, che non è raro negli hotel cinesi. Ho chiesto una stanza diversa e sono stato immediatamente mostrato uno . La stanza era identica, ma le coperte di letto erano disegni per bambini e c’erano giocattoli e teepee in un angolo. Tthe_wanderlust_jellyWas told I am given a free room upgrade, but honestly I can't tell the difference. Also the room in the listing image was larger and brighter but the actual room I received was extremely rather grim looking, not to mention it doesn't even look like half the room size in the listing image. I also can't seem to adjust the aircon temp as it will remain at room temperature no matter what I set, however xining is quite cooling in general so it's still acceptable. In the room I was give, the glass panel at the washroom side had a severely cracked side which seem like it will break if I had closed the glass door too hard. I took a video immediately before using the toilet in case it really does get shattered, but luckily it did not Very unsafe nevertheless. The shower was the worst, every night I had to gamble if it will be cold or scalding hot water. I set the shower value slightly towards the warm side, and the water became scalding hot within seocnds, and if I move it to the cold side, it became freezing cold within seconds. Even if I set it exactly in the middle, it will give me either one of the extreme temperature. Had to keep adjusting from hot to cold so that it stay at a comfortable and safe temp range. The toilet bowl flush in a very stupid manner too, by first flooding the bowl from bottom up, this means that if you took a dump and it's a slightly sticky one, it's gonna stick. The electric kettle was so noisy when turned on that it sound like a train passing right beside my room. And speaking of noise, the sound proofing of the room was one of the worst of every single hotel I stayed in before. You can literally hear new occupants dragging their luggage or family chattering non stop right after they exit the lift. FYI, my room was literally the furthest away. Every time your neighbors from 3 room away turn on their tap water, you can hear it, even if that's like 4am in the night. The hairdryer is a safety hazard too. Tried to use it once and after plugging in and turning it on, smoke immediately came oozing out of it, so I immediately switched it off and remove the plug. Never used it since. Oh yes one last thing I have to say is that as a hotel PLEASE NEVER USE MOVEMENT OR VOICE CONTROLLED LIGHTINGS. While I wash up every day, I had to keep waving my hands like an ***** every few minutes in order to prevent the lights from going out. The detection is sooooo off that unless there's a huge action at the correct spot, it will not turn the lights back. This was absolutely annoyance. However the things I mentioned above are although not welcomed, but can be tolerated. Personally, the only thing I really love about this was the free tea. And that is also a highly recommended must try. I believe that's ******* black tea which is also a local specialty. I regret not trying earlier because at the latter of my trip, I no longer pass by stores that sells ******* black tea. Recommendation to the hotel is include a way to buy some of this tea. Overall, I will only recommend the hotel to someone who do not have any other choice or have a lower budget in mind.

Abbiamo bisogno di un giorno per riposare tra la mattina e il giorno, e funziona bene per noi. Tuttavia, ci sono alcuni problemi che non ci piacevano. 1. Abbiamo prenotato e pagato attraverso il viaggio, ma al receptionist (che abbiamo controllato in anticipo, che era grande!) il receptionist ha chiesto 100 rmb, che ha detto è un deposito che deve essere pagato in loco, e sarà restituito al mattino. Questo è stato sospetto per noi perché non si è detto nulla di questo su Trip, e nessun altro prenotazione in Cina che abbiamo fatto attraverso Trip ha mai richiesto depositi, anche meno in contanti. Quando gli ho mostrato la prenotazione e il pagamento originali, e ha insistito che stiamo solo prendendo la stanza per il giorno, ha smesso di insistere sul ”deposito”. 2. La camera era molto bella, in effetti, e conserva ancora una parte di quella bella: il letto è meraviglioso, con lenzuola crispata, più diverse cuscinetti, e molto pulito. La camera è ben decorata e contenente le attrezzature di base, E il locale di stoccaggio è meraviglioso e spazioso. Tuttavia, come in alcuni altri hotel cinesi, gli indicatori di manutenzione sono la doccia e il tappeto. In questa stanza, il letto è molto pulito, ma il bagno e il tappeto sono puliti in modo sgradevole o non in alcun modo.Abbiamo trovato i capelli e anche un involucro nel doccia, mentre il tappeto nella stanza, l'ascensore e i corridoi non sono stati puliti per molto tempo. Eppure, in questa stanza ci sono dei tocchi così belli, come il crepe vivente messo in un piccolo vase nel bagno, o il giacca molto bello. La stanza manca attualmente un frigo (anche se c'è spazio per esso), e non ha AC, anche se i corridoi sono ben refrigerati. Invece c'è un fan che pomeriggio il calore non ha aiutato.

Bbebou around the worldWe found the hotel easily. The lobby seems to be shared with another hotel. Check-in was possible even late at night. The reception staff upgraded us into a room with a window which was nice. The room in itself is small but functional. The bed is small but comfy. The TV worked well. There's a laundry room that you can use for free but the dryer mode doesn't work. The amenities are outdated and cleanliness is really not what you would expect. Our toilet seat was broken, the sink was dirty (we removed some stains with just water and toilet paper) and it was leaking. The walls have some very nasty stains on it and there's dust and stains on many things inside the room (bedside tables, fan, wardrobe, bedside lights, etc). One very annoying thing is that when you don't close your door properly, there's a loud alarm that quickly starts ringing. Unfortunately, when it's breakfast time, many people don't care and will leave that to ring until they come back, and it's very annoying. Breakfast is Chinese food only and not that great. Plus it is served in a very small room where there's definitely not enough space for everybody so you might have to wait. On the second day, housekeeping took our bath mat and didn't replace it, so we had to use another towel. On the third day, despite putting the ”do not disturb sign” on the door, housekeeping knocked several times until told that we didn't need anything. I mean it's nice of them, but the point of having the sign is not to be disturbed. Depending on when you take your shower, the water can be a bit dodgy (fine at night, but in the morning, it goes from burning to barely hot to burning again which can be annoying). The layout of the bathroom is weird as well as the toilet protrudes in the middle of the bathroom making it complicated to move around, exit the shower or even use the sink (especially since ours was leaking all over). Shower glass doors also don't close properly so lots of water is coming out. Our laundry string was broken so we had to find another way to dry our laundry. I think it's important to note as well that as foreigners, we have been followed to our door by some other guests, and were stared at by others until we entered our room and closed the door which didn't feel safe for my girlfriend. All in all, if you don't care about cleanliness, then it's ok as it's well located.
