"I always enjoy my stay here. The hotel is connected to the airport terminal by a walkway so it's easy to get to and from the airport. The room is big and the hotel is clean. The staff can speak English and are very helpful. I got a free room upgrade when I checked in. The view from the room is interesting as you can see the planes taking off. The room has good sound proofing, so the sound of the airplanes taking off is very minimal. Rooms come fully equipped with toiletries. Overall, a pleasant stay."

The room is huge enough for 2 bigs size of luggages. I like washing machine with 40 celsius of the water and you can see the light up views from your room window."

"It’s an iconic hotel, but very dated even down to the hotel doorman costume. Aside from the carpet, everything else was great about the room. The price is very reasonable for the location (close to railway and seaside!) and room. Incredible views. Housekeeping gentleman on floor 5 was the kindest and friendliest staff member, and unfortunately we found the rotating restaurant staff to be the least friendly or helpful (both breakfast and dinner). They do have baby dining utensils and sets and chairs available at the restaurant."

"La posizione non è lontana dalla metro, quindi i trasporti sono comodi. Ci sono anche spazzolini da denti e pantofole per bambini. La colazione è ricca e varia, e la camera ha due lavandini, perfetta per le famiglie. Anche la vista è ottima, e abbiamo persino visto il tramonto il penultimo pomeriggio, è stato semplicemente meraviglioso. L'unico inconveniente è che la coda per il check-out è stata un po' lenta. "Ho portato i miei due figli a Qingdao. Pensando che sarebbe stato costoso andarci durante le vacanze estive, ho deciso di cercare un posto vicino alla Corea del Sud. Il clima non era caldo come mi aspettavo. Questo hotel era fantastico, soprattutto per le famiglie. Ha piovuto quando siamo partiti, ma il personale ha prolungato l'orario del check-out. È facile nuotare ed è vicino alla stazione della metropolitana di Fushanso, a circa 15-20 minuti a piedi da Piazza Quattro Maggio. Dopo cena, siamo andati in spiaggia per vedere lo spettacolo di luci, che non era lontano. Se non volete andare troppo lontano e volete solo mangiare e fare shopping, consiglio questo hotel. Il tè del mattino al 28° piano è comodissimo, e c'è un mercato del pesce nelle vicinanze. 👍👍👍"

"The location is convenient and easy to get around. It takes about a 15-minute walk to Taidong, and the Tsingtao Beer Museum is only about 10 minutes away on foot. There are also many small shops and snack stores nearby, making it easy to find food and drinks. It’s very easy to call a DiDi ride from the hotel, and while the train station is close, you do need to cross the street. Overall, it’s about a 5-minute walk to the train, which is quite convenient. The room itself looks a bit old, but it’s spacious enough to accommodate up to four people comfortably. The air conditioning was a little confusing at first — we only figured out how to use it properly on the last day 😂. There are actually two air conditioners in the room, and using just one was already perfect."

"The room has a spectacular view. Location is extremely convenient, you can just access to The mixc shopping complex through level 6. There are two convenient store nearby less than 100m. However I personally feels they can do better at the room amenities and cleanliness. The hot water especially has limits… you can’t shower more than 15mins, or else the next person will hv to run in the freezing cold water. And you can’t wash your laundry while you shower, it will affect the water temperature too. The room isn’t very soundproof, we can still hear people screaming from the other rooms.. lol"

FFrankHotel is great! Has a lot of water bottles. However if you’re travelling with someone you’re not familiar with, be vary of the bathroom situation. You’d grow very close to your travelling party. 😏 Location is great and pretty central to all attractions and easy to order DiDi!

One of the hotel’s strongest advantages is its location. Being situated close to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport makes it an ideal choice for transit passengers or those with early departures or late arrivals. The transfer process was straightforward, and the proximity significantly reduced travel-related stress. The Deluxe Queen Room itself was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-maintained, with clean linens, a tidy bathroom, and adequate amenities. The layout felt functional rather than overly luxurious, but it delivered exactly what one would expect from an airport hotel in this category. Sound insulation was reasonably effective; despite the airport location, noise levels were minimal and did not disrupt rest. Service throughout the stay was professional and efficient, with a level of attentiveness that stood out in the smaller details. In particular, the duty manager, Ali, made a strong impression through his proactive hospitality. As a welcome gesture, he personally brought a selection of local Shandong and Qingdao soft drinks to my room, which was a thoughtful and culturally considerate touch. This small act added a personal dimension to the stay and reflected a genuine commitment to guest experience beyond standard service expectations. Facilities appeared comprehensive, though my stay was brief and primarily focused on rest rather than exploring all offerings. The lobby and common areas were well presented, creating a calm and organised first impression. Dining options were convenient, and while not exceptional, they were satisfactory in quality and variety for a short stay. In terms of value, the hotel performs strongly. It delivers reliability, cleanliness, and comfort without unnecessary extravagance. For travelers prioritising practicality, convenience, and a good night’s sleep before or after a flight, it is a solid choice. Overall, the Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel provides a balanced blend of efficiency, comfort, and accessibility. The attentive service, highlighted by small but meaningful gestures from staff such as Ali, elevates the experience and reinforces the hotel’s reputation as a high-quality and dependable airport accommodation option.

Ho soggiornato da un amico per tre notti e quattro giorni durante il mio viaggio a Qingdao e, a dire il vero, è stata la scelta migliore. Innanzitutto, le condizioni della camera erano impressionanti. La camera era complessivamente molto pulita e lussuosa, e la vista dalla finestra era spettacolare, lasciandomi soddisfatto ogni volta che iniziavo o finivo la giornata. Anche la biancheria da letto e la qualità generale della camera mi hanno trasmesso il senso di sicurezza e comfort in stile Westin. La colazione ha superato le mie aspettative. La varietà di opzioni ha reso divertente decidere cosa mangiare ogni mattina. La qualità era così alta che non mi sono mai stancato, anche dopo aver soggiornato per più notti. UUtente ospiteDefinitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com. The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered. In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room. Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room. Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests. Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning. The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired. On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, l'unica pecca è che il bagno deve essere pulito con la candeggina perché è pieno di muffa nera. Inoltre, non ci sono ganci in bagno: tutto questo (candeggina e ganci) non costerà più di 50-100 yuan all'hotel e 2-3 ore di lavoro, ma l'impressione e le recensioni saranno migliori. In generale, lo consiglio!

RRara MomijiLa posizione è grande perché la nostra intenzione era di essere nel distretto di Laoshan. Forse non sarebbe facile se la maggior parte dei vostri piani fossero nelle aree turistiche come il Museo della birra di Tsingtao. C'è comunque la metropolitana (metro sotterraneo) che ci ha aiutato a dire che se volessimo guardare al centro città. L'hotel è a 10 minuti a piedi da Haiyou o stazioni Haichuan nella Linea 2. Non siamo molto affascinanti di cibo cinese per colazione, quindi il colazione gratis non era affascinante per noi. C'è un ascensore per portare o bagagli tutto il viaggio verso i nostri piani. E la stanza era pulita e pulita, e la puliscono ogni volta che usciamo.
