The cabin was recently updated and has a cozy UPTA CAMP Maine vibe, but with a lot of modern conveniences like a work space, smart TVs, smart speakers and automatic lighting. Need to bring Grandma? There's a first floor bedroom and a ramp to the door. Wake up in a king bed facing the lake and watch the sun rise or meditate in the hanging hammock chairs. The bunk room can sleep a lot of kiddos, making this the perfect type of house to share with another family. The she shed has a combination exercise/meditation area with equipment and a fully appointed desk ready for remote work. Electric car? We have a Tesla charger!We have lots of bed options to make different mixes of families work but given that we are on a small holding tank, we do not want reservations using all the beds. We want to limit adult guests to 4 (6 with no children) and prefer children not exceed 6 with their adults. Please message us for exceptions to this. We listen to our renters and have made upgrades and fixes based on their recommendations, including blackout shades, fixing the water pump and related electric (we've been here two weeks Aug 2022 with 4-6 people and no issues, turns out there was a small leak not visible), some new deck boards, and a new queen mattress downstairs will be in place for 2023. Come visit the beautiful Belgrade Lakes area and stay in this big new 5 bedroom 2 bath camp. The home underwent substantial upgrades in 2024. Both bathrooms were completely redone and walls have been refinished in v-match pine. There's a washer/dryer and a heat pump for a/c. There are new beds and stylishly furnished rooms, as can be seen in the pictures. The large modern kitchen is fully stocked. There is one small bedroom upstairs where the walls are not yet finished, like the camps of yesteryear. The bedroom on the main floor also has exposed 2x4s and is the only one without light switches but there are lamps. We ask that guests bring their own sheets and towels, but for those coming from far away, or would just prefer it, we provide sheets and towels for the stay for a fee. This cottage has some higher-end finishes and modern conveniences such as new central air conditioning in the main area, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and 2 full modern bathrooms. It is furnished stylishly in certain rooms, but also comfortably. There is a deck with gas BBQ grill. The home is situated as close to the water as new rules will allow, 100 ft from the lake, surrounded mostly by trees with peeks of the water. The private waterfront area which is exclusive to guests consists of a swimming area and dock extending out over the water. There is also an offshore boat mooring for your boat. The main level offers a modern open floor plan with living room, dining room, and kitchen all in one space. The main level also has two french doors opening to a deck overlooking the lake, providing a perfect to spot to BBQ, relax, read a book, or just enjoy the wonderful natural setting. There is a bedroom with a queen size bed located on the main level and the first floor bathroom is also located on the main level. The bedroom and bathroom on the first level can be closed to the kitchen, like a suite.Up the stairs there are four bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds. One bedroom has 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with shower and tub on the second floor. The laundry are is also on the second floor. Loon Lodge is a fully renovated cottage nestled peacefully among century old pines along a pristine shoreline on an idyllic crystal clear lake in the Belgrade Lakes region of central Maine. It is totally furnished, artfully appointed, with three bedrooms, one and a half baths (second shower outdoors) and sleeps 4 plus. The living room has a fireplace, tv, and lots of games!Covered porches front and back make for protected sitting areas. An expansive dock accommodates kayaks and sun bathers.This is essentially a cabin by a lake in central Maine. That means rustic and serene, close to nature, and ready for the basic existence of sleeping, swimming, and cooking. Go to bed with the stars, get up with the sun. eat when hungry, swim when hot, nap when tired, and disregard time and weather. The artfully reconstructed 1908 ice house can be used for reading and writing, crafts and naps. In short, bring very little and commune with the natural surroundings that await. Everything can be found in the village, a 3 mile bike ride away. King's Kastle is a lakeside cottage with a large screen in porch with BQ grill, table with chairs, see thru roof, 30 feet from Salmon Lake, sandy shallow shore with a 35 feet long alum dock with ladder, 3 bedrooms, sleeps 7, large master bedroom with two full baths, large sleep sofa, complete with 1 two man kayak and 2 one man kayaks plus canoe and paddles. Great fishing just off the dock. The yard has a large stone fireplace and picnic table. Relax to the sound of the loons with their babies on their back, just a few feet from shore with eagle's and ospray's flying overhead showing you how to catch fish. Near by on the lake are the Eagle's and ospray's nests. There is a large grocery store on RT 8 that sells lobsters, food and fishing supplies and 3 pharmacy stores Walmart, CVS, Wallgreens, and 4 grocery stores just a few miles away, also a Marden's surplus & salvage store in Waterville just 15 minutes away where you can buy most everything at a big discount price. Also near by is Caswells food discount store. Cook your Lobster and roast your marshmallows on the outside stone fireplace with a spectacular view of the lake facing the Sunrise. Play golf on the highest and most scenic point in historic Belgrade just 15 minutes away where you can enjoy lobsters and a duck dinner and a view of Great Pond and enjoy the stores with the Belgrade famers markets every weekends. Constructed in the traditional Maine camp style, it has been wonderfully put together by local craftsmen and has beautiful, bright varnished pine interior v-match walls.For maximum privacy the home is situated approximately 200 ft from the lake, surrounded mostly by trees with peeks of the water. The private waterfront area which is exclusive to guests consists of a waterfront deck, swimming area with ladder, and dock extending out over the water. There are also offshore boat moorings. It is possible to drive to within 25 ft of the water if desired. The main level offers a roomy modern kitchen with all new appliances, black granite tile and a 9 foot bar area. The dining area and living room offer a wonderful open floor plan. The main level also has a large screened porch which is perfect to curl up and read a book or just enjoy the wonderful natural setting. The master bedroom and full bath are located on the main level.Up the stairs there is a roomy loft which has two twins and couch. Perfect for games or another spot to kick back and relax. Down the 'catwalk' there is the large 2nd bedroom which has a full sized bed as well as 2 twins. A door leads to a smaller upper deck.The 3rd and lower level is a walk-out basement with TV area, bar, an additional sleeping room with full sized bed, and a full 2nd bathroom.
