We had a very wonderful 6 nights stay here .It was so relaxing especially after our day trips to the Jungfrau regions, to the lake, and the cruise. Chalet Maria Interlaken is one of the best accommodation we had during our 4 weeks here in Switzerland. Love the surrounding environment, quiet and beautiful. It was like our home away from home Close to Interlaken West train station and the Pier for the Lake Thun Cruise

Last time in my life that I am not staying in a regular hotel! Yes... I should have checked the small details etc... but for more than 350 CF you think you are well covered. Spacious room with relatively all you need for nside... except for air-conditioning (a major problem in July). The room we got was not in the beautiful building that you see in the pictures... but in a simple addition in the yard of the main building! Ground floor. Next to the parking lot. The room is not fully covered from light. The main door is partially transparent. Not good to anyone sensitive to light when he sleeps (like me). Distance from the train is 8-9 minutes... I thought it is OK... practically it is too far on top of it Interlaken main train station is Interlaken OST... so every trip starts with a train to Interlaken OST from WEST. View... the niceer reviews all speak on the beautiful view from the room, balcony etc... NO view from our room. Also no balcony (ground floor as I wrote). Last is the fact that it is not a real hotel... no cleaning or room maintaining or anything... Yes if I was reading the details I would have noticee it in advance and... but I didn't. Oh... I forgot... no breakfast... same thing... if I would have read the details I would have... but I didn't. There is also the price... ＞ 350 CF pee night...
